I came in for an estimate only as my insurance told me to do so I was greeted by Keo and she was very kind and told me my service advisor Nick will be helping me out for an estimate i was concerned if the insurance will cover for my damages since they told me to not drop off Nick reassured me and told me that he will call the adjuster personally he wrote my estimate on the spot and gave me a copy. So i left and not even 2 hours later Nick called me and said that i am able to drop off per my adjuster i dropped off my vehicle same day on a tuesday and he had me updated throughout the entire repair process and was extremely knowledgable i was told the vehicle would be ready in the next two days and sure enough it was ready washed and the General Manager Hayk told me i have a complimentary extra car wash and i could bring it in for free wash. 10/10 experience 10/10 customer service and very knowledgeable team. Honestly the staff was nice I did not have an issue with them. The body work on the other hand was not so nice.. I was told I was going to have oem work done but that was not the case. There was still bondo and over spray in my door sill, I can still see filler through the base coat of the paint meaning there wasn't enough paint on there, orange peel that's easily visible (they tried parking my car in the shade for pick up thinking I wouldn't spot the orange peel), paint masking lines, etc. I'm sorry to the owner of this caliber collision but I cannot recommend this place to anyone. read more

The day after Thanksgiving. After bringing my son's Honda civic in I drove out a very satisfied and THANKFUL father and customer. I want to give a special shout out to V.J. who, although the techs were out for lunch he looked at the problem and FIXED IT ON THE SPOT!! The undercarriage shield had come loose and he promptly jacked up the car and fixed it with some new screws and I was on my way in less than an hour. What a great shop and people there. This happened to a relative of mine so posting for them. They noticed that the front bumper of their car was popped off a bit at the seam on one side. They hadn't hit anything and there were no noticeable bumps. They remembered that about a year ago they had the front bumper replaced at Caliber Collision and that repair came with a lifetime warranty for the install. They called the shop, who said they could schedule a time or they could come in right away since it might be a quick fix from the description. They brought the car in within a half hour from the call, and the guy in the office didn't ask for any other info and just looked at the car right away. A quick explanation from my relative, and this guy fixed the bumper in under a minute, informing my relative that with the way newer cars are made, this was an expected outcome from even a little love bump in the parking lot from a stranger. He also assured my relative they could come in again if it happens another time, also for no charge. My relative tried to give them cash for the quick fix, solid explanation, and time, but the guy turned it down emphatically. They were out of the shop in like 3 minutes. My husband unfortunately got into a fender bender on the 405. Some dude hit it from the back. The guy originally wanted to settle outside of insurance so our premiums wouldn't go up. I initially took the car to this Caliber Collision to get an estimate. This is the first time I encountered Joe. Don't let his gruff exterior intimidate you, this dude is like a big teddy bear. He's super friendly and smiley. He did the estimate so quickly. I didn't even have to wait 5 minutes, yet he was so apologetic for making me wait. My husband sent the estimate to the guy who crashed into his car and the guy said he wouldn't pay that amount and that it would only cost $200. Needless to say, my husband went through that guy's insurance. Luckily Caliber is contracted by that insurance company so I was able to come back and get the work completed here. Mind you, all this happened the week before Christmas. We dropped the car off the Thursday before Christmas and the car was done in 6 days, counting the weekend. When we picked up the car, it looked brand new and the sign out process was super quick. I would hope that we never get into a situation where we would have come back to Caliber, but if we do, we're definitely coming back. I brought my car in with fender and bumper damage my service advisor NICK checked me in and gave me a thorough breakdown on the repairs and told me that he would call me after it got disassembled, not even 30 minutes later after I dropped off the car he called and sent me the estimate and gave me a breakdown of all that was on the estimate which helped me better understand what's going on with my vehicle he also gave me an estimated time of 1/2 to 2 weeks for the repairs to be completed and updated me throughout the entire repair process, not even 6 days later he calls and says that my car is ready. 1 WEEK SOONER THEN PROMISED REPAIR DATE, the whole shop is pros and get the job done right. Words cannot fully express the complete and full satisfaction I expperienced at Caliber Collision in Canoga Park on Sherman Way west of Corbin. From the moment I entered the lobby and met Ms. Liz Wasburn (Gen Mgr.) and her cheery staff I knew immediately from the upbeat atmosphere that I was in the right place.....and that's rare in any office on an early.Monday morning! (Ha) The pending body work was fully explained in detail followed by a written estimate in my hands within 15 minutes. Areas of the damage, essentially the lower section of the right two doors was easily identified, but it was Liz that noticed additional damage to the lower rocker panel. Upon discovery, her comment, "I want your SUV to be as perfect as it was off the showroom three years ago, and so you know we treat all cars as if they were our own. Lou, our entire staff feels the same.". If statements such as these don't convince you are in the right shop....well maybe this final comment will. Regarding the communication skills demonstrated at Caliber: EVERY SINGLE MORNING from the day after drop off to the day I picked up, I was greeted by a text regarding the status of the job and completion date... which ended up a day earlier! Bottom Line: We never look forward to a need for a body shop but my "go to" shop is now Caliber. Deal with confidence. This well-oiled machine in Canoga Park is second to none. Stay away the people here are just a mix of incompetent and negligent. My insurance usaa sent me here when my stolen vehicle was recovered and the entire claim start to finish has just been grossly mishandled by caliber collision. My vehicle a 2018 kia soul about 79k miles on it was stolen labor day weekend 2023 (09/03/2023). The first time I took my vehicle here they didn't accurately asses the full damage of the vehicle I think they only repaired what was noted from the walk around of the vehicle with me. I don't believe they lifted the car up and looked for anything else than what I noted. When I first got my vehicle back from caliber the inside of my car looked like someone took keys or a knife and went to town on the inside, my car sounded like it was driving over rumble strips, and the shift lock on my car had a decent size hole on it. I just found it hard to believe they had my vehicle for almost two months and didn't notice any of this damage. The second time I dropped off my vehicle, and I alerted liz of the noise my car was making she told me oh that's just the road. The third time I took my car back while yes they repaired the inside it still sounded like it was driving over rumble strips and they put the visors on backwards again shoddy work, but of course they don't care. During the third time I took my car back they misdiagnosed the noise again. When I alerted them to my vehicle still making the noise Liz proceeds to tell me well it is raining outside. What rain has to do with your car sounding like it's driving over rumble strips idk. Everytime I took my car back (6times) Liz was very dismissive of my car making a rumbling noise and would try and put the responsibility of getting my car back to pre theft condition on me. My car has been taken back to them at least 6 times at this point before they finally came to conclusion that my struts are broken, my springs are broken, and some bearings I believe. Apparently keeping up with regular repairs and maintence with your car doesn't matter to these people because they are now telling me that all those things breaking at once on a car that was stolen and driving just fine before stolen is normal wear and tear and that I am responsible for fixing it. Thanks caliber for a six month long headache and probably a car bill in the 1000s plus. Someone stealing your car and damaging it is normal wear and tear. Truly just a lot of incompetence and negligence because I believe if they had properly assessed the damage the first time I believe my insurance would have totaled my vehicle out. Now I'm having to argue with my insurance to get the last bit of repairs done on my car because caliber collision has swindled them out of a minimum of 13k for a 2018 kia soul that still isn't running properly. Thanks caliber collision and great job getting my reviews to not show up on other platforms instead of doing the right thing.
