Where do I start? I had a slight fender bender and was told to come here by my insurance. I scheduled an appointment with them for a quote, but they put the wrong day for the appointment. When I received my conformation email I noticed the incorrect appointment and called them to inform them of the mistake. The person I talked to said they had fixed it. Later I received a phone call from them saying I missed my appointment. The lady I talked to was rude after I informed her of the situation and blamed it on me. I should have said I am going to another company but didn't and rescheduled the appointment for 2 weeks after the original as they no longer had the appointment I was originally told I was all set for. I figured the lady on the phone was having a bad day and they made a mistake as we all do time from time, so I reset my thinking. When I came in I soon realized how unprofessional their front desk was. After a costumer left I witnessed her talk trash about the customer and insurance companies with a coworker. This made me question everything about this company. Soon after she and another coworker talked trash about another coworker and their shop division making me feel really uncomfortable. If you are working in this profession I think you should understand how costumers feel and do your best to be transparent with the process and help easy our tensions as our vehicles effect all areas of our lives. Someone within the company should address this behavior and lack of organization as soon as possible. read more

I would give this business 6 stars if that was a thing! My veh8cle was in this shop after beingninvolved in a collision. Insurance recommended several shops within a couple of miles of my home,, but I chose to drive 16 miles to this one because of it's 5 star rating. I couldn't wait to write a review from the moment I first called and spoke to Dawn as the front desk. What an amazing ambassador for Caliber. This woman is terrific in her customer service skills- so friendly, kind, likeable, funny. She's a keeper for sure. Give the lady a raise! Now, as for my service rep, Mike. I didn't have a need to speak to him too much, but when I did, he was equally nice, concerned, informative. I did have a couple of occasions to speak to and meet Ernie, the manager. He was very involved throughout the entire process of having my vehicle. It was there for nearly 9 weeks! I received weekly updated texts on the progress of the repair, which helped me know which stage it was in during any given period. When the day came to pick up my vehicle, Ernie wasn't quite satisfied with the work just yet and paid for several more days of a rental so that he felt the repair was done to his strict standards. That was impressive. He even offered to open open shop on a Saturday to get the vehicle to me, if I wanted. I couldn't do that, but that was also a very surprising offer. I picked up the vehicle and it had been cleaned nicely inside, repairs looked amazing, and a warning came on the next day. I called and Ernie told me to bring it in the next time I was around (just needed to clear the warning and nothing else) and he would fix it. I truly have nothing but good things to say about this company. It might be a national chain (just found this out by reading other reviews actually), but it feels like a small business because of the personal touches, the attention to detail, and the customer service. read more

Beware of dramatically over-priced services: The clear-coat on my car had started to peel all over my car. Additionally the trim on the left-side doors had cracked and one area started to rust. Based on a referral from another company I went to caliber collision. The quote for repainting/clear-coat and repairing the rust was nearly the price of a new car: $15,000.00. I wound up going to another body shop, Fix Auto Gilbert, and received a quote to do the repairs for less than half the cost of Caliber Collision. read more

After some jacka** scraped my car in a parking lot and ditched, I was left to figure out where to take my insurance money to. I Caliber was suggested and coming here was the best decision I could make! From the moment I called in to the moment I picked up the car, I had nothing but great customer service. They even finished the repairs quickly, it only took about two days for services. They sent me text updates every time they even SNEEZED around my car which was great! This company is horrible. If I could give them zero stars I would. Someone hit me and they had USAA insurance. Caliber Collision is one of their 'star' companies and they tell you that they won't warrant the work if you don't use one of their companies. It's basically a scam. I am a single mom, live on a fixed income and they know you are going to choose warranted work. Caliber is a national company that doesn't care anything about you the customer and puts USAA above doing a quality job. They kept my car for 4 days and charged almost $1400 to patch a bumper and bang out a dent in the fender...no new parts were used. And during the consult they were not transparent about what they were going to do. When I picked up the car from Caliber the bumper wasn't sitting straight on my caramd popped out on the driver side. And of course they tried to blame it on me. The person who hit me, hit me right on the front side of my car and hit me hard enough to dent my fender and crack the bumper and they tried to convince me that that accident didn't cause it to go off kilter from my car. Now, after 2-3 weeks, both sides of my number are off and I will have to spend my own money to fix this and make it right. I cannot stress to anyone out there to not go here and if I can save just 1 person the headache of dealing with them then I will be happy. Go to Vision Collision in Tempe. I received a quote from them for all new parts for $1800 and if I could do this over again I would choose them and not be fooled by the song and dance USAA and Caliber gave me. read more

I took my car here through State Farms recommendation for approved shops and received a really bad experience... When I went to pick my car up, they left paint imperfections and gave me a hard time about them, but redid them anyway. Well it has only been a few months and there is already spider wed cracking in the bumper! Not happy with the quality of work. read more

Very helpful and professional! I had a scheduled appointment with A competitor made 2 days ahead of time. When scheduling my appointment I asked if someone would be sent out they said I needed to drive the vehicle to the shop. When I arrived at my scheduled appointment time they informed me I was not on the schedule. Luckily, I was able to walk Into Caliber without and appointment. The adjuster informed me my vehicle was unsafe to drive and was able to provide the quote after my insurance company changed the agreement to Caliber. They were extremely helpful in my time of need and will be sending text messages to inform me of any updates. read more

From start to finish, Caliber did everything as promised. The text updates were phenomenal! This is the second time in 7 years I have used Caliber and, personally, would use no one else. The job on my vehicle was top notch and even a bit extra "touch-up" was done - to my surprise! I had one minor problem within a week after getting my vehicle back. As promised, Caliber completely satisfied the minor issue in less than 5 minutes! Now it doesn't get any better than that! My car was side swiped on the drivers side in April. This place was on the pre-approved list provided by the other guys insurance. The initial appointment for the estimate went well and the car was "ready" when promised. The problem is when I picked up the car the drivers side front power window did not function properly. They fixed this within an hour same day. I drove it to buy groceries before going home and the remote did not work. I looked online and was able to program this myself. Within two days both driver side doors where not functioning properly (front was not operating smoothly and the rear was squeaking like a bad set of brakes. I filled out their survey and let them know about the issues with the repair. I was contacted by one of their employees and told to bring it in for a look. I came in on a Wednesday the estimator said he would order a new check strap and lube the door hinges to make it all better. I was told the part should be in early the next week and he would contact me. 10 days came and went so I called and asked about the part. I was told they would have the estimator contact me. ANOTHER week goes by and still NO phone call so I called again. They said they would have the estimator call me. NO CALL. I called a few days in a row each time same story "I'll have him call you" Finally he calls he offers no apology for the delay, no apology for not returning my phone calls just ask when can you bring it in. I made my appointment and when I brought it I mentioned another issue I noticed with the door trim. He tells me we used your parts from the old door which is fine, but when they removed the old trim from the old door not all of it made back on the car. Long story short customer service is KING if theirs was better they would have scored at least three stars. I have an older car and don't expect it to be perfect, but DAMN act like you care. Oh and I almost forgot to mention when I brought the car in for the repair I dropped off a 6 pack of Croissant Croissants (Front desk lady, Estimator, Body shop guys) as a good faith gesture. I could not have been MORE pleased with the service, and the overall Customer Care that I received at Caliber Collision! It all started with the lovely lady at the front desk (sorry I can't recall her name now). But she set the PERFECT tone to begin my Caliber Collision experience. She was lovely to deal with in setting up my appointment -- informative without being "Sales-y" (a difficult balance to master!) And she personally handled ALL of the details with Hertz Rental (including calling them to reserve the car when I got there, asking them to come pick me up, and even calling them back when she felt I had been waiting long enough for them to come get me.) Simply delightful! And the Customer Service just continued from there, impressive at EVERY turn! I have to especially thank Mike Brown, my Service Representative, for all of his kind attention, the many messages keeping me informed of progress and expected delivery time, and for taking it upon himself, when I couldn't return the message in time, to have the tinting restored to the window that had been broken in the robbery attempt! An important addition to the already great service! But Mike REALLY went above and beyond when he helped me by affixing my new license tag from the DMV. (I had had trouble loosening the screws to remove the metal bracket around the plate. Seriously, he didn't HAVE to do that!) And THEN he followed that up with more outstanding service, by polishing out - at NO additional charge - an area where a different color paint had been transferred on to my front quarter panel. At every turn he went above and beyond my expectations! Then when I picked up the car, it looked SO beautiful! The work was, of course, SUPERB, and the detailing that had been done, both inside and out, was phenomenal! I've worked in Customer Service for all of my adult life, and it's a rare thing, indeed, to find a Vendor who exceeds my expectations!! I'm a fan for life of the good people and quality work at Caliber Collision, and I have already begun telling EVERYONE I know that they should take their cars to Caliber Collision! I chose this shop from a handful provided by the insurance agency handling my claim; I was concerned that the chrome accents on my (relatively new) truck would not be replaced correctly by just any shop. These guys gave me a fair estimate, and called regularly with updates about the work. It turned out that the entire side panel of my truck had to be replaced due to the damage from the collision, but even with this work, they still had my truck ready for me three days before their estimated finish date. The chrome and the fender all fit perfectly, and the new side of my truck is indistinguishable from the original (other than the glossy coat on the paint). I am incredibly grateful that they took such great care of my vehicle. read more

Estimate for repair higher than another shop I received a number from but they are going to replace a front fender which accounts for the difference. I have visited this location several times with two different vehicles. My last repair was on my on a Z06 corvette. The front carbon fiber air dam and left front wheel, that were damaged by road debris. Repair to the air dam was ok. However, they sent the car to a near by Chevrolet dealer to realign the front end . This was done completely wrong and I had to have it done at another shop After I got the car back. They also refinished the left front wheel. The paint started coming off immediately. When I returned, the repair advisor said " I hit a curb "and walked away with no further remarks. I did not hit a curb. I have since had the rim checked by another wheel shop. They indicated the wheel was still bent from the initial collision and all the other repair people did was to repaint the rim. I see most people give this place a good review. I cannot do that because : Any time I wanted to see how things were going, I had to call them. Repair advisor seems to have little interest in my concerns. The repairs not done by them, a outside facility seem to go unchecked. Try do seem to be able to bill your insurance company with no problems I am reviewing my experience with Calibur collision. Please note most reviewers give them a much better review. read more

I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to go here I went to get truck looked at only to have the guy be very rude, and instantly says nope , can't do it , nope ; because there was damage to the apron , which is one of the reasons I was beinging it in , and says he will get boss , I don't know why but ok , then he came out with a know it all attitude not truely knowing much about anything actually but had a poor attitude so I chose to leave at that point , don't go here in my opinion other shops like Gerber few doors down will treat u much better , I am just posting what happened do what u want read more
