He is professional and I liked working with him…read more The moment he wasn't around and I had to talk in person and over phone with the manager Arshak I just felt belittled. Don't pay for your auto body work before you see your car. I made this mistake, waited around 1.5 hours, never got a call from them saying it would be ready until the next day..... Still when I came for pick up many details needed to be addressed. The manager Arshak was there on original pick up date, and said the paint issues, no polishing finish done, and other deficiencies were only minor. Minor for the price tag of 8k. He assured it would take 15 minutes only and could be picked up the same day. I called after waiting 1.5 hours, oops it would be ready the next morning. Who has time to go back and forth? Manager also suggested that they called my insurance company saying car was finished, it might be an issue for the rental. Who cares about the rental? I had other friends say CarStar was great, but it was other locations - Santa Monica, and Glendale. All in all, it was an adequate experience. I am happy with the final product and having my car back. Given I had to return 3 times. There is a lifetime warranty through insurance, and cash (only at this location). The 3rd visit was minor and only took 15 minutes which I was very happy about. I liked working with Josue, he is the only reason I choose this shop. They can improve with focusing on details of paint job and finish. quality control. Bring a friend/man/partner/husband/cousin in case Arshak manager gives the excuse that the issues were possible Tesla factory defects. or better yet, document your car before taking into them, due to over spray that needs to be corrected. They were kind and offered to bring the car to me, but I preferred to pick it up so I can inspect the work myself due to details that were not to my standard on the original pick up date. If they are working on the front left bumper, and repainting the whole bumper - you would think they would fill in all the rock chips for the whole bumper. Instead they only really focus on he front left where you were damaged. They leave the front right bumper rock chips still there. Why wouldn't they attend to the whole bumper if they are repainting it?

I had an excellent experience working with Alen at Zoom Auto Body from start to finish…read more My car was damaged after hydraulic fluid from a trash truck spilled all over it and ultimately damaged the paint. I had to work through the trash truck's insurance company to have the affected area repaired and repainted, and Alen made the entire process so much easier. From the beginning, he was trustworthy, honest, helpful, and an excellent communicator. He walked me through each step, took photos and documented the damage, explained what needed to be done and how long it would take, and stayed in communication with both me and the insurance company throughout the process. What I appreciated most was the peace of mind I had working with him. I always felt informed, supported, and that both my car and I were being well taken care of. And the work looks fantastic. The paint looks beautiful and my car looks brand new again. I'm very grateful for how Alen handled the entire experience and for the quality of the work from Zoom Auto Body. I highly recommend them.

The repair itself is flawless, panel gaps, paint match, everything lines up like it came off the line that way. On a G-Wagon that's not a given; plenty of shops will happily take a swing at one and hand you back something that's almost right. This isn't that. But the part that really made the difference was the insurance side. Dealing with the at-fault carrier is normally a part-time job you didn't apply for, endless calls, lowball estimates, supplements that go nowhere. Alex handled all of it. He knew exactly what to push back on and how to document it, and I basically just got updates instead of headaches. Zero fighting on my end. He also does diminished value reports, which I didn't even know was a thing I should be asking about. A car like this loses real money on paper just from having an accident on the record, and he walked me through recovering that. If you've been hit and nobody's mentioned diminished value to you, ask him about it. Bonus: the man knows the local food scene better than most people who write about it for a living. Ask him where to eat while you're waiting, I got better recommendations there than from any app. Highly recommend. Ask for Alex.
