I've been doing business with Alliance Autobody since it was owned by Peter and his wife. Back then, it was a family-owned shop that was dedicated to outstanding customer service. Since the business was acquired by new owners, however, the customer service has been hit or miss. Since the change in ownership, I've brought them two Honda S2000 front spoilers for painting. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was not nearly as smooth as I expected. I negotiated a cash price that was similar to what I had paid a couple of years earlier, despite Michael aggressively trying to justify a significantly higher price. When I dropped off the spoiler, Jermaine assisted me and thoroughly explained the preparation process they would use to paint the polyurethane piece. I was told it would be ready for pickup in a few days. When I returned, I carefully inspected the finished product and immediately noticed several issues. The edge of the spoiler had blotchy paint coverage that appeared to be the result of inadequate surface preparation and inconsistent paint application. The top of the spoiler also had areas that appeared to have received little to no paint. I pointed out these defects to Michael, but instead of acknowledging the concerns, he immediately became defensive and blamed the manufacturer of the spoiler. As we discussed possible solutions, Jermaine brought the painter over to evaluate the problem areas. Even after the painter inspected the piece, Michael continued insisting that the manufacturer was at fault and began calculating an additional charge to correct the issues. During that conversation, I overheard the painter quietly tell Michael that it was a simple repair that would only take about ten minutes. At that point, I told Michael there was no way I was going to pay an additional $200 on a $400 paint job to correct problems that were clearly the result of poor preparation or workmanship. Thankfully, Michael eventually reconsidered and authorized the painter to make the repairs at no additional cost. I returned a few days later, and the problem areas had been corrected. The finished product ultimately looked much better. Like any business, Alliance Autobody has employees who genuinely care about providing excellent customer service and others who seem more focused on maximizing the bill. Jermaine was professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with throughout the process. I only wish that same level of customer service had been reflected consistently throughout the entire experience. read more

Jermaine helped me from vehicle drop-off to pick-up and kept me up to date on the insurance approvals and repair status. He was responsive to my text and emails. He did a great job of working with the adjusters to get approvals (not sure why my insurance used three adjusters), but Jermaine handled all the insurance interactions for me. I brought my car to Alliance in 2022 to get my driver door repaired and painted. It had great reviews under the previous owner, but had just changed hands. Two days after getting my car back, the chrome lining underneath the window had popped off. I could see all the glue they used underneath. Not wanting to create a headache for myself I popped it back on and left it alone, but that was the first red flag. Only two years later, and the botched paint job started to come undone. The first issue was a paint chip that quickly grew to the size of a quarter towards the bottom of my door. I thought maybe I hit it against something and hadn't noticed. So, again, I didn't dwell on it and moved on. Now in 2026, only four years after the repair, another large paint chip underneath the plastic lining on the window started to crack and open. I had to get it spot painted to keep it from getting worse, but I can see more air bubbles forming. Mind you, I take extremely good care of my car and am careful not to wash it using the wrong products, or with water pressure that is too high. Extremely disappointing. I heard about Alliance through a friend of mine after my Tesla Model 3 was rear-ended. I made an appointment with Mike, he was kind enough to write me a repair estimate to send to the insurance company. After getting approval from the insurance company I called the shop to schedule the repairs. Unfortunately, I needed the vehicle so I couldn't be without my car for too long. I was told Tesla takes about a week for the parts to be delivered so Mike was able to pre-order the parts for me that way when I dropped it off and the parts were already there, all that had to be done was to paint and install them. They had me pay a $200 deposit for a splash shield and other parts, told me they'd get the part in 1-2 days, then forgot about me for 3 weeks. I had to call to follow up with them three times and they never communicated with me any delays. After the 3 weeks, I told them to just give me the parts and I'd install them myself.
