They arranged for rental car to pick me up from the shop when i dropped off the vehicle. Front office kept me informed by calling and texting me as to the progress. Once the work was complete, I picked up the car on the day they promised it would be ready... it was cleaned and washed inside and out. I did not deal with them directly- they were certified to work on my car from Tesla. They took my car in three times and every time the car came back with more paint issues... the damage was so bad that my PPF (Paint Protection Film) company refused to PPF my entire car unless they fixed the paint first... this car was brand new. The accumulating paint damage was so bad that Tesla had to buy back my car. I'm sure they are nice people... but my experience with their work through Tesla (again as a third party) was very high stress and left me with shop-care PTSD. Maybe if you work directly with them they might provide better service or results... but my experience with them as a certified Tesla partner was high anxiety and horrible. I wish I had better things to share, unfortunately this was my experience. read more

Just recently visited Pasadena Collision Center for the second time in on year because of an accident with my Tesla. The manager Jack and the estimator, Jacob have done an excellent job in showing exemplary workmanship in reproducing my Tesla Model 3. Their estimates are noteworthy and highly manageable, as they came to an agreement with my Tesla Insurance within a day. I highly recommend you routing all of your Tesla vehicles over to their shops location for any service or repair needs! I wouldn't recommend this shop based on my experience. I was originally told my car would take three weeks, but it was finished earlier without proper communication, which complicated returning my rental. I also received a call saying my insurance wouldn't cover the full bumper and was asked if I wanted to pay $500 out of pocket to replace it. When I picked up my car, my belongings from the trunk had been tossed onto the back seat without care, and the car itself had several issues: electrical problems related to the repair area, a detached handle, and a side panel not properly reattached. To their credit, when I called about these problems, they did apologize and fixed everything the next day. However, the lack of professionalism, communication, and care with my vehicle left me disappointed. read more

I came in because my insurance sent me after a mild accident wherein I only had damage to my front driver side fender/bumper. There were, of course, other scratches and the like on my car, your usual wear and tear of a long-held vehicle, but the damage from where I was hit that the insurance was covering was isolated to the front. I was initially optimistic, through the estimate and dropping off of my car. Everyone was kind, straight-forward, and quick to answer the phone. Different employees each time, but I didn't think to be concerned. I wasn't thrilled with the turn around time, but I don't have the budget for this kind of work usually and so couldn't say if it was a long time or not. I received updates every few days, when my car would move from department to department. However, after conveying that I couldn't receive phone calls due to a lack of cell phone service and would need email updates instead, I received (much later, once back in a service area) a voicemail with a four day later completion date. I couldn't inquire as to why the date was later, as they had already closed. I called when they opened the next day; they were very apologetic about the phone-email mix-up, and I soon thereafter received an email saying my car would actually be ready that afternoon, when it was originally estimated. I was so, so excited to get my car back after a grueling experience with the rental car I was given, and so relieved to get my car back that day as anticipated and not another half week later. Upon picking up my car, I was only shown the front of my vehicle--which I thought was fine, that's all that they were supposed to have done. The work there was beautiful. I saw my car when I was walking up, and she looked great. The paperwork was still in process so I had to wait a few extra minutes, for which I was offered a Starbucks gift card, which was a lovely touch. I signed off on the paperwork and drove her down the street about a mile, parked, and walked around. My back bumper had multiple new white scratches, both in new places and over existing damage that I already acknowledged, and was no longer connected to the body of the car the same way. I returned, and after waiting around for them to track down who I needed to talk to, was told the scratches were all preexisting. Eventually they offered to buff them out a bit, but 15 minutes before they close for the weekend? I'd be out a car for longer, and I work weekends--who would cover that rental, assuming I'd have to leave my car once again? Frustrated and devastated and too stressed to negotiate all this as they closed up, I refused their service, returned their Starbucks gift card, and left. My car still drives, they did what they were supposed to to the front. I denied their offer to fix what they did because I can't help but feel like I was given the run-around multiple times in this process, and certainly don't feel any sense of trust. I hate that this was my experience and wish I could've gotten the treatment others seem to have had, even if I do have a sad older car. read more

Decided to try this place because they were a Tesla approved body shop. Wrong.... Felt funny from the first phone call not being able to even bring the car in for an estimate. Requested a bumper to be fixed or replaced and their inspection consisted of 6 pictures. Did not even inspect the vehicle for any other damage except for the visual inspection on the outside. When questioned about the parts being replaced & asking that if these parts do not fix the issues what is my warranty, their response was, "We cannot service your vehicle". To me that's a cause for concern. Overall a poor experience. Will take my business elsewhere. read more

I was struck by an SUV, necessitating the replacement of my door along with additional damage to the fender and mirror. They executed the repairs superbly, and the paint matches perfectly. The service was outstanding. Jack is an exceptional individual to collaborate with; he is very knowledgeable and experienced. I visited three other body shops but felt very comfortable with Jack. Got a pretty good dent and scratch on my brand new car and was so upset. The dealer body shop quoted me something astronomical do I did my own research and got quotes from about 6 places in the Pasadena area via Yelp. Pasadena Collision center was one of the first people to give me a response via Yelp. I went in person to get quotes from 4 of the places and this was not only the least expensive by a long shot but also seemed to be the most efficient, honest, and straightforward. They got it done in less than 3 days and it looks perfect! The final price was very close to the estimate. Nice employees. Do not bring your car here! I chose this location for my repairs and they performed low quality services on my car. The damage to my car was on the back door on the drivers side and the rear bumper. Apart from not updating me on the status of the car, they gave it back to me with so many issues. They left paint on the inside of the car on the weather strip, failed to glue the weather strip correctly, left paint on the inside door panel, didn't put both the passenger and driver door panel on correctly (there were huge gaps in both doors), my car did not lock properly(alarm would go off every time I opened my car), the bumper was not flush with the vehicle, and there were a lot of other electrical issues with it. Presently, there is a crack in the rear bumper, and more damage under the bumper because of their work. They did not take any ownership of their mistakes, so I won't be able to trust, nor recommend their business. I thought I'd be able to trust them as I saw German cars and teslas in their lot but I was proved wrong. Please take your car elsewhere!! read more

i got rear ended, this place was covered by the insurance which is how i found them. when i came to pick up the car after they replaced the bumper, i noticed two new dents towards the front side of the car, top of the door frame. they tried to blame them on the tow truck worker. i had pictures of my entire car after the accident and it was clear that those dents weren't there. they said that they had photos and i asked them to show me the photos of the car when it arrived to so i could see that it arrived with the dents. they went to the back, came back without photos and said they would fix the dents... i wonder why they decided to do that? there was a piece of my bumper that was on back order and they said they would let me know when it arrived. it's a small piece and not that important, but they never called and i've called twice and the front desk said they would ask and get back to me. still haven't heard back and it's been about two months. just didn't seem to care for me or my car. read more

It took four days to get an estimate to fix two small dents on my bumper. The first day I went in they told me to come back when a certain person was there. When I came back the next day as instructed to do that person wasn't there so someone took pictures of the damage and told me they would get back to me with the estimate. They did not get back to me in a timely manner. I felt I had to call them to remind them that I was still waiting on an estimate. They eventually emailed me an estimate. This whole experience came off as if they didn't care to bother themselves with my business or were too busy to. A few months later when I had significant damage to my Tesla after an accident I went with another Tesla-approved shop in the area. read more
