Mike and his father are the best. This business is a throwback to the old days when customer service meant something. The shop is a father and son run business. I was having all sorts of issues dealing with State Farm to tow my car after I was rearended. I sent them rear dash cam video of the incident and after 3 days they still had not determined if their insured was responsible or not. Problem is in Pasadena, your car gets towed after 3 days and my car was not driveable and had been left in front of my house on the street the Friday evening of the incident. I called McCurdys and Mike said no problem we have a guy and I'll send him right over. Car was picked up, repaired to the point you could not tell it was in an accident and was nicely washed when I went to pick it up when it was done. This is the type of business when you walk into the office you get to have a real conversation with the owners. I hope I never need them but if I do I will not use anyone else. Highly Recommend! Someone made an illegal left turn in front of me in October 24. I took my 24 year old Honda Crv to a location her insurance sent me to for an estimate & repair. The referral auto shop refused to work on my car because there was previous damage. I had taken it to McCurdy's years before due to me rear ending a SUV. I paid out of pocket and they repaired "her" at a reasonable price. They did amazing work and worked around some impossible looking issues to give me back a safe repaired car with my limited budget. It's lasted and their team worked hard to make sure it would. [[HIGHLIGHT]]In October 2024, the owner Bill McCurdy oversaw the repairs and he worked with the insurance company on my behalf.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Insured's insurance company agreed to pay for all the damage. When I picked up my car, I got emotional. My old car looked great. My Honda CRV's front end and side panel looked amazing! My car received some needed TLC. A friend asked later if I got new car. Cleaned up a few scratches on my Audi A6 here recently and McCurdy Body Works deserves 5 stars for their work, from fit to finish. Mike was extremely helpful, attentive and professional. The front office staff (thank you Debbie!!) was delightful to work with as well. The work I had completed was a buff, touch-up and polish in three areas of the car. Upon completion of the work, one of the deeper scratches didn't improve much (we assumed this going in, however I appreciated the efforts). Mike discounted the quote $40 on the spot!! I was flabbergasted at the honesty here and really appreciated the quality work for the more-than-reasonable price.
