I had a really great experience with this auto body shop in East Pasadena and wanted to share in case anyone is looking for honest, kind service. From the moment we rolled up, we were attended to by Brian and another mechanic Salvador. They were friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful. Even though I came in with a very small request, they took the time to help me out right away and didn't make it feel like an inconvenience at all. What really stood out was their generosity--they helped attach my car plate completely free of charge, since they knew we were local. It's rare to come across that kind of kindness these days. I can't say enough good things about B & K Auto Body! My car had an unsightly scratched bumper with a few deep chips, and they worked their magic all in under an hour after I showed up 30 minutes before closing. Raffi and the team were incredibly friendly, professional, and clearly take pride in their work. This is by far the worst auto shop I have ever dealt with. I brought my car in after an accident, and while the basic bodywork itself was okay, the paint and prep were absolutely horrible. The area they painted had flakes, and I had overspray all over my car, interior, and windows due to their poor preparation. I ended up taking my car back five different times, and every time the overspray was still not fully addressed. They even caused paint to come off in areas completely unrelated to the accident. Each time I returned, they kept my car for an entire day (or multiple days) and still failed to fix the issues. In fact, the condition of my car got worse after each visit. I still have something on my windshield that blocks my view when driving in the sun, and the final condition they returned my car in was unacceptable. I now have several new problems with my car that were never there before the accident--issues caused by them, not the collision. On top of that, the customer service was just as bad. Rafi told me he would speak with me after helping another customer, but instead he sent someone else, which felt disrespectful. You try to support businesses in your own community, but this experience showed me exactly why people go elsewhere. To make matters even worse, water now leaks into my trunk on the same side they "repaired." At this point, I am completely exhausted and refuse to go back for a sixth visit. Just as tired as I was of dealing with them, they clearly became tired of me--despite the fact that they never fixed what they caused. Do NOT take your car here. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with an auto shop, and I regret choosing them instead of going through insurance. There is zero accountability, and because of their poor prep work, my car came back in worse condition than when I brought it in. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

This place is so accommodating for repairs. The plastic piece that covers the engine from underneath had come loose. I called and Raffi said to come over and they would take care of it while I wait. Sure enough, I drove over and within minutes, they had repaired the piece and the cost was reasonable. Really great guys, can't recommend them enough. read more

Brian was incredible! We scratched our car and was met with a scammer in the parking lot. The scammer offered to fix the dent but ended up making the car looks even worse, with a bunch of wax and loaded up. Brian took the car in for 4 days and make it look like new again! He gave us a reasonable price, got rid of the giant load that the scammer put on and paint the correct color. We are so immensely grateful for Brian and team for the job they had done. So I've had this Car a few months, went to a funeral, and when I left there was a big scratch on the bumper. I mean not just white paint from the car that scraped mine but the black from under the paint. Frustrated yea , but you have to know a guy. And these guys are "the guy" . I did not take a photo of the before, I did for the after. So at least I have that. The hard part about all this is the down time of not having a car. Many years back, my front driver door got torqued and would only open 3 inches. As that's a pretty severe safety issue - I called Hrant Auto in a panic, because that's what one does when they are panicking about their car, and he referred me to B & K Auto Body. From the moment I climbed out of my passenger side door, Brian was just great. He kept me calm, as I was very concerned about the cost of fixing my door. Brian took a look at it, put a wedge in the frame and fixed the door issue in less than 5 minutes. When I asked him how much I owed them, he told me to recommend them in the future. So, I told anyone I knew who had body issue to go there. Cut to 10 plus years later: I'm in a minor fender bender this morning. Nothing serious, someone clipped my mirror and the glass popped out and my check engine light went on. Of course, I called Hrant Auto in a panic - I got my check engine light sorted and headed back to B & K to look at the mirror. Brian, once again, was amazing. He took a look at my mirror and said they could get to it immediately. My husband and I strolled down to Vons and grabbed a seat at their StarB's to wait. About a half hour later, we walked back - my car was finished and the mirror looked great! Brian said he was able to fix it quicker than he thought, and the mirror popped back in. When I asked how much I owed, Brian asked me to leave a Yelp review. The kindness and care that Brian has given me each time I've gone there has been amazing. I recently got a deep scratch on one of my door panels. I went to B&K on a recommendation from the mechanic shop that I recently began using (Hrant Auto Service) who also does excellent work so his referral meant something. I spoke to Brian on the phone and he told me to bring it in right away. Once I arrived, I was treated very well by Brian who came out to have a look at it. He had me pull it in and within 10 minutes or less had one of the guys remove the scratch completely. I was certain this was going to require serious body work and cost hundreds. I demanded to pay them more than what he asked for getting this done. I could not have been happier about the experience and will be back if I ever need any body work done. They easily could have pulled one over on me but were fair and honest which is a tough thing to find in this business. read more

The paint on my Acura MDX had collected a fair amount of wear and tear, and I brought it in to them honestly just hoping to get the scratches out and be on my way.
