Jordan provided truly above and beyond service as I went through the process of having some bodywork done. He kept me perfectly informed on timing, cost and then delivery back to me of my truck. Caliber Collision has a lot of affable smiling people. You don't get the impression you're being run through a professional predatory process as many of the dealerships can do to customers. And the finished product...beautiful. As it turned out, my insurance company also likes the work of Caliber Collision. So it all worked out. But, I have to say, the combination of Jordan Ware, and his employer Caliber Collison, left me with a sense of having dealt with some honest and efficient people. Job on my car was great BUT public relations dept was horrible, I was told it'll be all done by 7 days the longest and they will contact me . NO ONE EVER CALLED and when I called on the 7th day , was pushed from one to 2nd to 3rd person waiting on the fone !!! THEY ARE VERY DISORGANIZED!!!! told me will be ready the next day and will call me . NO ONE EVER CALLED ME !!!!!!! When I called them again they said that because of cooler weather they couldn't paint because the paint cannot dry, and it will be ready over the weekend, and they promised they will call me on the following Monday when the car is ready. AGAIN NO CALL FROM CALIBER !!!!! So again I have to call, and after passing me to two people the second person finally said Oh yes your car will be ready in a couple hours. This is the most terrible auto body shop I have dealt with and I did tell Mercury Auto Ins not to use them again. I will definitely NOT recommend anyone to use them if you can help it. read more

HUGE shout out to Omar at Caliber. My neighbor backed into my car and left some pretty big scratches along the back wheel well (some up to 12" long). Took it into Caliber for a quick estimate and after looking at the car, Omar said he would be able to buff most of the scratches out- FREE OF CHARGE!! It literally took him less than 10 minutes and he got 95% of the scratches out.. there was just one tiny spot left that needed to be painted, which he gave me an estimate for (ps the estimate was about 30% lower than an estimate I just got down the street!) About 2 years ago, I brought my VW back to Caliber because they did the original repair on some flooding in the passenger side of my car. At that time, the sunroof drain was plugged with debris so rainwater soaked the carpet. I liked their original repair because I could not tell that it had been repaired... there were no smudges, misaligned parts, etc. The cost of that original repair was shared by my insurance company because the drains should not have been plugged with a new-ish car. Since then, I have maintained the drains by pushing a bicycle brake cable through them. But this month, the cable got stuck. I could not pull it out. I went back to Caliber and they estimated the cost at about 2 hours labor, explaining what had to be done. The rubber drain hose had grabbed onto the cable. Everything sounded reasonable to me. I met the same technician who did the original work and who would fix it this second time. So I signed up for it, expecting to pay the full cost with no insurance claim. I came back at the end of the same day. They brought me the car, showed me the cable they had pulled out, and handed me the keys. I was completely surprised that the cost was, shall we say, a VERY SUBSTANTIAL discount from what I expected to pay. The repair was nice and clean again - I have no complaints about the work done. Is there room for improvement? Yes there is: The young lady receptionist speaks fast and quietly, and I have to ask her to repeat herself often. I have only fair hearing and they have these Covid protective plastic panels set up between customer and receptionist. That is my one complaint. I feel that they offer service reasonably promptly. With nobody else in the waiting room, I waited maybe 10 minutes to see a service advisor. It would help if the receptionist would let the customers know what what is happening while entering information during my wait to see a service advisor. I waited a few hours to test the drains before writing this review. They work fine. read more

My dad asked Anthony the manager if he could put in my headlight assembly for my car. Anthony said they could do it for much cheaper, since my dad had been there before and had a few issues with his car repair at caliber collision. I bought my own headlight assembly and tried to do it myself, so having caliber put it in for me really helped. I brought it in and Chris, who was standing in for Anthony, made sure it was done within 30 minutes. And the headlight looks great! read more

DO NOT GO TO HERE! They just want to OVER CHARGE YOU! I have a Mercedes c300 with little damage on the front grill. The front bumper is totally fine. I went to the shop and ask them can they fix my damaged front grill, they told me they can do it in one day. When I said I have the brand new grill from Mercedes, then they turn their altitude 180°. They told me that they have to remove the whole bumper and also the head lights. The labor will cost $250 without tax! And there even a "manager" comes out and try to teach me about my car! I took the car away from them and went to another body shop just down the street. They only use 30 min to fix my car and only charge me $40 for it! FOLKS! DO NOT GO TO HERE UNLESS YOU DONT CARE WHAT THEY DO TO YOUR WALLET! read more

I experienced what I thought was a catalytic converter theft and it turned out to be a resonator. Anyways, I brought my Jeep here to get a replacement and all I have to say is WOW. From professionalism to keeping me updated through thorough communication these guys ARE AMAZING. Never once did I think I was getting the walk around or ripped off. Dropped off car Monday,I was assured it would be fixed by Thursday same week. Car was not ready till Monday following week. No updates given and closed all weekend. Required me to pay for 4 extra days in a rental. Had to return the car the same day I picked up due to warning lights on dash. Aggressive attitude by manager when I returned for dash lights. I was sent to this place by Mercury Ins. Will be changing my Auto Ins to avoid retuning to Caliber in the event of another fender bender. With all the choices for auto body work, I will not be returning. Workmanship on car looks good, but customer service at this place is lacking. Caliber F@#$ed up the blind spot sensors on my car and told me to go to the dealer to fix. read more

Richard was great from the moment I came in to the moment I picked up my car, his customer service was excellent! I brought my car in to repair my back bumper that someone had scratched and their insurance was covering. When I showed Richard the damaged bumper I also mentioned that my front bumper also had a scratch (unrelated to the other damage) and he said he would take care of it at no additional cost to me. That's when he gained my trust and sure enough, he did just that. When I picked up my car, it was like new again. They did an excellent job and didn't charge me extra for my front bumper as promised. The new manager was also very kind and introduced himself to me and asked if I had any issues along the way which I didn't but it was nice he asked. I had to use Caliber Collision in Pasadena, as it was a certified Volkswagen re-pair shop and I was not disappointed by the service. I brought my 2015 Volkwagen Jetta SE in after an accident had damaged the driver-side rear door, wheel, and fender. They took in my car and were able to get $5,000 worth of damage replaced and re-painted in less than two weeks. Patricia, Alex, and the staff is incredible and truly made it an easy experience. Anytime someone gets in an accident, there is this feeling of up's and down's of having to get your car repaired and sometimes having to pay more than expected or having issues with the insurance company regarding payment. The Pasadena Caliber Collision team made sure to get everything squared away with the insurance company so I did not have to deal with it. After I picked up my car, I had issues with my battery dying on me as well. The first time starting my car it did not turn on and required a jump. A couple of days further it happened again. This time when I was at work. I thought it could have been that they left a light on (they replaced my door) and that could have been what killed my battery. Rather than going back and forth, Alex and his staff drove out to my house in Valley Village to give me jump. He then told me to come into the shop and they would take care of the issue. To my surprise, they replaced my battery with a brand new one. I can definitely say this is the best auto body/service shop/etc. that I have ever encountered. USAA suggested that we use Caliber for an accident with the family minivan. The experience has been horrible and still ongoing. - First it took 10 days to get the estimate. - Then it took 3 weeks longer that the projected time. - The communication on progress was frequent (automated system) by was actually always wrong. - Then after 6 weeks in the shop when we picked up the car there was new scrape / damage on other area of the vehicle. - we found the workmanship shoddy. Bumper was loose, hood not aligned, used glue to put old pieces together rather than new parts. Been back in twice. - we have had electrical issues they deny are the result of he accident. Frustrating intermittent issue. - still waiting on parts to resolve glue Have that tow truck keep moving to some other shop!!! read more
