I paid a visit to my friend who works at Bob Smith Toyota in La Crescenta after getting into a horrible car accident to find out a couple body shops that were recommended to fix my 2009 Lexus GS Hybrid. I called classic collision center and the manager Eric assisted me and then transferred me to the front desk to set up a tow. I got a ride to CCC with the tow truck and was delighted to find out that they are an authorized repair facility for AAA, I was thrilled...it shouldn't be any hassle. LET ME TELL YOU when you walk into this place you'll have a hard time realizing your in a body shop!!! The waiting room has one of those cool new fancy coffee machines that lets you pick what kind of beverage you want, and they have cookies and water and gatorade! Might I add the furniture is modern and the facility is extremely clean....including the BATHROOM! I had a hard time dealing with the fact that it was nicer than the one at my house! Ok... ok I know I brought my car here for repairs...I got checked in with the front desk and after I filled out some minor paperwork they called enterprise for me and everything! The repairs came out to about 7,000 and it took them about 2 1/2 weeks... receiving a call from them twice a week with the updates on my car was super because I wasn't always left wondering! The car by auto club standards was suppose to take close to 21 days to repair but as you can see it was done a lot faster. Picking up my car was a quick and easy process. I liked how they covered my car seat along with my steering wheel before the repairs and they were removed when I picked the car up...my car was waxed, washed, looking brand spanking new!! I got a superb treatment from the moment I stepped in. The receptionist was very kind and friendly and she got my paperwork processed very quickly. The representative in charge of my case, Antonio Maldonado, was very nice and efficient. He kept me posted through the process, got my repair done very fast and went out of his way to minimize the hassle that a car repair implies. I have had my one car fixed after it was hit on the back fender and back bumper, and then a second time when my Volvo SUV had tread from a truck tire hit its front and pop the side panel out and put black rubber all over the paint. In both cases the service was absolutely wonderful Jordan Ware at the Pasadena branch is courteous, helpful, knowledgable -- first rate in every way. When I brought the Volvo SUV in, he popped the side panel back in place, polished off the black rubber and then didn't charge a penny. He said he was simply glad to help. This place is for real. Had my cars worked on here, due to accidents in the past when it was called Classic Collision. They always did a great job. This go around was different, as the few times I have been hit, drove to them for an estimate, etc. as the insurance company requires. Not so today, by the directive of my insurance company was told to go to them today. So, had to take part of the day off to do this, I show up and they tell me that the next available appointment isn't for ANOTHER 8 DAYS to have the damage estimated, not worked on, but estimated. I am very satisfied with the service that I have received from Caliber. I was referred by my insurance to this body shop. The front desk help was very professional and very courteous. The preliminary insp. was promptly done and the estimate price was within standard. They gave me an accurate estimate and drop me off to the rental car agency after. I will recommend Caliber to anyone that asks. I went in to them to get a visual estimate of repair for some minor scrapes and scratches on the side of my car.
