Awful experience. Got an estimate from this company that my insurance recommended after a minor accident. Scheduled the maintenance and brought it in for service. At drop off, they tried to upsell me on additional work which I did not want. When I declined the upsell, they told me they wouldn't do the work from the estimate. Shady bait+switch tactics. Avoid. read more

Rude and not helpful. I had my daughters car towed here and decided to take it elsewhere to get fixed. I called AAA and they had a tow truck come out and get it. We couldn't get the car so we asked them if they can move the car out to the front of the lot. The lady behind the deaf was very rude and said we don't do that. I was very confused as to why not. So the tow truck driver went and got the manager and he said we don't tow cars out of the lot. So the tow truck driver asked him.so what do you do with the cars that are not drivable? How do you get them into the shop to fix? You don't have a tow truck here to tow it into the garage? He said nope we don't tow cars here. He is clearly lying because we are not going to pay them for services anymore so they didn't want to help us out. read more

This place was fast, communicative, and great! Mike is awesome! He handled my claim and was in constant contact with me throughout the process and really expedited the repair. 10/10 would recommend read more

Perfect repair, communicates with the right mix of letting you know what's up with the repair without blowing up your phone. Very easy experience, worked with my insurance directly and made getting my car rental easy too. I highly recommend this place. read more

I'll start off by saying these guys are super friendly. "I'd love to grab a beer with them after work" friendly, but I probably won't let them touch one of my cars again if it's a newer one and I care about how it looks. I'll admit it's a delayed review, partially because I never wash my car so I didn't notice these issues until today, and I had never done a walk around with Caliber as I did a weekend pickup and an after hours pickup the second time so they keys were returned by whoever happened to be in that day. My car was backed into so the front panels, hood, and coolant system needed to be replaced. Caliber did this in a timely manner and at first I was really impressed. Picked the car up on a Saturday (loved that they were willing to have someone come in on their off day). This was a mistake because I didn't do a thorough walk around. Got halfway out of the lot before I realized I was missing a floor mat. Again, my fault for not doing my due diligence, so I reviewed them highly. However, the next month my car overheated. No problem-- they've got guarantees on their work. Again, Caliber very gracefully said, "yes, we will fix it!", got me a rental, and off I went. Asked them to fix the hood and panel alignment in the front, as well, as I had taken my car in to the dealer for an oil change and the Subaru techs noted it didn't sit right. They said, "no problem"! The guys fixed the coolant system in a day or two (great!!)-- but nothing else. He said they realigned the hood but didn't say anything about the panels. Hood still doesn't sit right. Seal for the hood sticks out, front panels don't line up or sit nicely, and you can see what I assume is paint but may be some kind of adhesive on the front panels. Even the guy at the car wash next to me noted the gaps on the hood. There's also a nice silver hand print from car paint on the side of my vehicle from (what I assume) is matching the color and repainting the front panels that were replaced. It's smeared and very obviously silver car paint, so not from a door ding or a neighbor or accident. Overall, the car drives, so I can't complain too much as I know nothing will ever be "good as new"... but I wish they could have tried a little harder. read more

I WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF FUCKING POSSIBLE do not ever go here- seriously, and i'm gonna give you a few reasons someone hit my car recently and i took it here to get fixed. they told me that it would be done within two weeks, on a saturday. which is great that's a good time- i need my car, i work and i'm a student at CSULB. so when they called and said my car wouldn't be ready until monday i was a bit upset because now i have to find rides to school and work or uber which costs even more money! so i call on monday and they tell me that my car will be ready on wednesday. wow really? soon they tell me it won't be ready until thursday at 5:30. no problem i have a break in between classes and can go get my car and make it to my 6:30 class. BUT WAIT i get here, and to my dismay the car is not ready! they tell me it'll take just a few minutes to later find out it'll take 20 minutes! I was late to my class and my headlight wasn't fixed because they did not have the part yet... terrible service, terrible people. i would recommend any other place than this one. read more

I can not thank this location and team enough for their smooth support along the way of my car repair post accident. They made everything so incredible simple from beginning to end and I am so glad I chose this facility for my hefty repair. Arnold was a LIFESAVER, communicating with me consistently along the way and even jumped in to help the repair team to ensure I got my vehicle earlier than expected so I could hit the road for a weekend trip. I can't thank them enough and while I hope I don't have another extreme need for car repair anytime soon, this would be the team I leverage time and time again. read more

i was hit earlier this month. insured with allstate and the instructed me to drop off my car with a caliber collision. my agent recommended a different location but i preferred the area i grew up in. so i found 1closer to my old zip code that works with my insurance. once i dropped off my vehicle. i was clueless because i didn't know a thing about renting and they made the process very easy. enterprise car rental in signal hill made our even easier. in less than 30 days, i got my car back today. i am beyond satisfied! thank you ulysses for your help and continued updates! with the wait!!! i kept rubbing the part that was dented because i feel as i took it to the dry cleaners. washed and ironed!! but instead, replaced washed and waxed! i couldn't thank you guys any more! beyond grateful!!!! thank you sooooo much!!! read more

One day after an accident, I received an ok from my insurance company to find a body shop on their list. I chose Caliber Collision because of positive reviews and proximity. They took a look at my truck and submitted an estimate to my insurance company. This process took a bit of nudging, but it was all set in a week. The problem started when I dropped off my truck to begin repair. The manager stated that they could not accept the job because the paint would not match the rest of the vehicle. Dang...if they just told me that on my first visit, I would have been fine. But, they wasted my time and set me back a week. If you have an older vehicle with faded paint, ask them if they will still do the job before you waste any time. read more

No one wants to go through this after an accident. But Caliber Collision made it easy. I brought my car in for service on a bumper fix through my insurance. The staff was friendly and quick. I was in and out of the office within 10 minutes. Mark, who helped me through the whole process was thorough, informative, and made the experience easier than I imagined. I was updated every step of the way from when I dropped off my car until I picked it up. There was also an automated text that was able to show what process my car is in with the break down of all costs, estimations, time of completion, and all the information needed. I definitely recommend this place, the service was great and fast! Not to mention, my car looks fresh! read more

Terrible customer service. Was t-boned a few months back; called my insurance co (AAA) and they mentioned this place, which was close, easy to get to if I was going to be car-less, etc so had them tow it there. I got home, called AAA to file and what not. Had barely hung up when I got a very rude call asking why my car was there and they needed info immediately. I called AAA back and told them and their response was, essentially, "WTF, this accident basically just happened; they shouldn't be doing this." So they do their thing, the other driver's company does their thing, I'm told an adjuster is going over. He's told the car isn't there. After some investigating, I find out they "won't work with" the other guy's insurance co. I call them, they have absolutely no idea why and say they work with tons of other Caliber locations. I mention it to the adjuster who's also absolutely confused as to what's happening. All the while, every communication I have directly with anyone there is just totally rude and unaccommodating. The day I showed up to have the car towed out (to Boulevard Collision down the road, who were night and day better) they couldn't have been any less helpful. I'm not sure how a place this unprofessional stays in business but if I'm unfortunate enough to need bodywork done again, I'd go ANYWHERE else before here. read more
