The worst customer service of any body shop. I went in to get an estimate for an easy repair but was told they would take pictures and send me the estimate through email within a couple hours. I said sure let's do that. They never sent me the estimate and the next day early morning I had to call and ask about the lost estimate. They apologized and said They would get on that right away. Well they probably went out to lunch and forgot or just didn't care because they never called me back and I never received an email. After all that trouble to take pictures why not finish the job and make a customer happy? That's beyond me. Good luck to these guys but don't waste your day thinking these guys treat you right. Caliber Collision, I cannot thank you enough for the epic job on my vehicle. I was involved in a rear end collision and the car that pushed me into the tank in front of me took off. My car was messed up. Painful to look at. Through my insurance, Caliber was my number 1 choice based on reputation and they lived up to that reputation. They got my car done quick and had me back and the road in no time after insurance approved my claim. I'd like to thank Luis for handling my impatience for my car. Caliber is so good with customer service as well, they even put 2 different wheels on my car per request for free. Then, to top it off, I was having safelite replace my windshield and the safelite technician scratched my A pillar really badly. I showed the Caliber Collision tech and he said they'd take it in the back and paint so I didn't have to look at the ugliness while I waited to get safelite to own it. I asked him how much? He said "that's customer service man, no charge". A bunch of awesome people here who do excellent work and go above and beyond to make sure your car gets back to you BETTER than brand new. Thank you again Caliber. I hope to never have to bring my vehicle in for repairs, but if I do, you know I'll be there! read more

Excellent service I took my near-new Prius Prime in for an estimate on a rear bumper issue. The estimator, Ubaldo Cepeda took a look at it, and thought he might have an easy fix. Ubaldo drove the car into the bay, and 5 minutes later, he came back with my keys, and said "All done". He was able to adjust the offset to look just as I had hoped. I asked how much it would cost, and he just shook my hand and said, just come back here if you have any other collision repairs. I was very pleased with the outcome, and will certainly use Caliber Long Beach for any future issues. read more

So impressed with the service I received here! I was recently in an accident and the entire back side of my car was demolished! It was pretty devastating because my car is less than 6 months old. Our insurance company recommended Caliber Collision and I'm so glad they did. We took the car in, they gave us a ride back home and said it would be fixed in approximately 10 days. Less than a week later we got a call to say the car was ready. They replaced all the damaged areas with new parts and have a lifetime warranty on any work they performed. It's back to looking brand new! They even went the extra mile and touched up a minor scratch that happened a few months prior. On a side note, I told some work colleagues about how happy I was with their work and they had both happened to have prior experience with Caliber and had nothing but good things to say about them. So there you go, 3 endorsements in 1. read more

My experience at Caliber on Willow St in Long Beach was so terrible, I feel compelled to share it. I just got my car back dirty and with wax marks on it, almost a month after I sustained minor front and rear damage from being rear-ended (on 6/4/19). Not only did I try to give the receptionist when I first arrived at Caliber a copy of my insurance estimate showing there was front and rear damage (which she dismissed saying it was already in their system), I also explained to Caliber staff that I had both front and rear damage, plus my car was visibly damaged. This should have been enough to have not received my car back on 6/21 with only the front fixed. Not only did it take over 10 days to not complete the repair, I had to follow up multiple times to find out the timeline. Luckily the rental car I was using at the time was covered by insurance, but what if it wasn't? Then, on the Friday I was told it would be ready, I arrived at the store and they were still rushing to finish it. It felt like they spent 10 days doing nothing and everything happened at the last minute on the 11th day. So, after returning my rental car and waiting for an hour at the store--after being told it would be ready to pick up--I then see that only the front of the car is fixed. The rental company is now closed. I ask if my car is safe to drive with the rear damage and am told that yes, it's just the bumper that needs repairing that they've already taken the car apart and did not find any additional items to repair. I was then given misinformation that they could drop off the rental at my house on Monday and pick up my car. This wasn't true and after being rudely dismissed by the receptionist when I tried to set this up (she told me, our manager is on vacation and we can call you back in 5 days) I had to drive to Enterprise again and get the new rental. I later receive a voicemail telling me that they found additional damage under my bumper and need to order another part and will call me to tell when my car will be ready to pick up. This is after I was told that they had taken my car apart and there was no additional damage behind the bumper. The fact that this was missed makes me feel very uneasy about the rest of the repair and whether my car has actually been fixed. Then it's Friday afternoon, I haven't heard anything about my car and assume they are still waiting for the part. At 3:00pm I get a call stating that my car is almost ready for pick up but they are cleaning it and I can get it at 4:30. I explain that I'm 30 miles away at work and there's no way I can get it today. On Monday (7/1) I get a call from Enterprise saying my rental is expiring today and my car is ready to be picked up. The fact that I got this information from Enterprise and not from Caliber, who organized the rental, is ridiculous. I call Caliber they say I can pick up the car whenever, that it's ready. I say that two managers told me that Caliber could drop off my car and pick up the rental and I do not want to drive to Caliber again. She agrees to drop it off at 5:00pm. It's 5:25pm and she still hasn't arrived, so I call the shop again and she answers saying she's coming now. She arrives at 5:50pm. My car is dirty and has wax marks on it. She tells me they didn't have anything to wash it with today and that it "looked much better on Friday." Despite the dig that it was ready on Friday, using logical reasoning, if it was waxed on Friday these marks would have been on there then as well. She says I can come by and get a free wash. But the problem is I don't want to drive there again, I've already been there multiple times. Don't bother going there if you want to be treated with respect, have an easy stress-free experience, and want to feel confident that your car has actually been fixed. read more

I got in a car accident about 2 weeks ago and AAA referred me to Caliber Collision. I had a wonderful experience with Ulysses Flores. He was very communicative with me every step in the process down to when the parts came in, what labor was being done, and when my vehicle was ready. He even arranged a Lyft to come pick me up at home to take me to the collision center to pick up my car. My car looked good as new when I came to pick it up, the color was matched perfectly and I was very satisfied. Initially I was going to go to the dealership collision center, but AAA spoke highly of the service here. I'm glad I took the advice of my AAA agent and went here. I definitely would recommend coming here for collision needs in the Long Beach area. Thanks Ulysses! read more

This place was great! I got backed into and had some front end damage. I came here on a recommendation from the insurance company. The service that I received was amazing. Steve was my point of contact at Caliber and he was outstanding. I scheduled my repairs to coincide with a trip I was taking for the holidays. Instead of having to take a cab, Steve offered to drive me too the airport. The repairs ended up taking a day longer than expected (not a big deal). But my house key was in my car and my flight came in the day before the car was going to be done. Steve got my keys and took them home with him and met me after my flight came in (at 9pm) with my keys. When I came to see the work that was done the next day it was flawless. Great workmanship. Steve and a guy from the shop took me through the work that had been done and really made me feel like they cared about how I felt about it. You can get you body repairs done anywhere, but I chose to get them done at a place with integrity and a place that makes me feel like family. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone who is in need of any kind of collision repairs! read more

This place is THE place if you are looking for a body shop. My car was hit and got to have some repair done here. Having to deal with body shop in the past was a nightmare, but the whole team at Caliber (Long Beach location) changed my perspective. They were SUUUUPERRR professional and stick to their word. Answered all the questions that I have. Even made some adjustments to their schedule to fit mine for vehicle drop-off. Everything from scheduling, vehicle drop-off, status updates, arranging for rental car, and vehicle delivery are all TOP NOTCH. Paint quality is excellent when I picked up my vehicle !! They give lifetime warranty. And I'm hoping not to use any warranty ! :) I also used the opportunity while my vehicle is there to retouch other parts of my car. They gave me a GREAT DEAL and EXCELLENT workmanship, and I'm thankful for this. KUDOS to the team I worked with: Jose, Imelda and Sandra. You guys ROCK and awesome !! read more

My insurance company had me take my older vehicle to this Caliber Collision. I yelped it but this location had no reviews, although other locations for this company received high praise. I am very happy to have been sent to them! It is hard to find parts for my vehicle but they went to great effort to find as many high quality parts as possible. They were also smart enough to save all of the damaged parts in case they were unable to locate everything. I was lucky they did as a factory decal was no longer available from anyplace in the US, including the factory. I was kept informed during the entire repair process. It has been many years since I had this level of service. Their work is beautiful and the little extras like polishing the headlights to rid them of old age haze even though they were not affected by the accident. was an unexpected pleasure. Fantastic customer service! I have recommended this location to a coworker already, which i never would have done if my experience had been anything other than stellar. Thank you, Sandra and the guys! read more

This place is REMARKABLY shady. Took the car in for an estimate on a Monday. Signed paperwork authorizing an ESTIMATE only. Specifically wrote on the paper, ESTIMATE ONLY. All through insurance as a result of minor cosmetic damage (5-10 mph rear end traffic collision) to the plastic rear bumper cover. Pay attention. This end part is important. Call back at the end of the day. Get told "Estimates take 2 days." Okay. Call back the end of Tuesday... "Estimate isn't done yet. Call tomorrow." Call Wednesday. "Oh. The estimate was done yesterday. I'll have the mechanic call you back." 3 hours pass. No call. Called back... "I'll transfer you to the mechanic." Call gets transferred. Call gets answered. Call gets put on hold. Call gets disconnected. Call back. Talk to the mechanic. "Okay so your car will be ready next week." Next week? Why? Wasn't the estimate done yesterday? "We already took the car apart and have parts ordered." Who authorized you to do that? "We have your signature." Yes. For the estimate only. "Yeah. But we have your signature." Yes. FOR THE ESTIMATE ONLY. "Well then you can pay $150 and get your car back." Fine. Put the car back together. I want it tomorrow morning. "We can't do that." You *just* said you can. "Well we have your signature authorizing us to do the work." UGH. Whatever. When is it going to be done? "Friday we think." You think? "Yeah. We have to take a look under the bumper and see if there's more damage we have to fix." Didn't you just say that you already have the car apart? ".... uh yeah... but not completely." FINE. 200 dollar rental car later.... Friday comes. No phone call. Saturday comes. No phone call. Sunday passes. No phone call. Monday at 4pm passes. No call. Call them. "Your car was done 7am on Friday." Why didn't you call? "It says we called and spoke to you on Friday and told you that your car is done." I probably would have remembered that, since I was waiting all day for the call. "Well it's ready now." Fine. Show up to pick up the car. "Okay. You have a balance due of $2,000." What? "They didn't tell you?" No. "Let me get the manager." Manager starts hammering on a keyboard without saying much. I think he said "Evening" by way of greeting. To his credit, he gave me the paperwork, has me sign, gives me keys, and I was on my way 4-5 minutes later. Get home. Look at the bill. They claim to have replaced the entire rear end of the car. Parts of the undercarriage, rear quarter panel, rear lights. Almost everything from the C pillar back. 2,000 dollar repair for all new parts and assemblies. I'm not new to cars. I do my own mechanical work and have for years. I know new parts vs the parts that were never removed and replaced. Take a look at the paperwork they had me sign. At the time the manager led me to believe that I was signing paperwork to acknowledge receipt of the car and the 1 year warranty they have on all of their work. I realize at home that it's actually paperwork that says they called me twice last week and gave me two different price estimates, and got verbal authorization for the amounts. LIES. NEVER happened. Thankfully, I didn't pay out of pocket. The insurance company is probably going to be mad when they get the photos of all the work and parts that were billed, but never happened. On the plus side, the car looks fine. read more

Took our daughters car in for repair. They seemed to do a good job, good at communicating updates and car was clean when we picked it up. We went to pick it up and they said 20 minutes, so we left to take one car home and went back immediately, car still wasn't ready. When it was and we were ready to leave, we were blocked in by another car!! Toyota allows cars in for repair to be lined up down in front of Caliber. Parking is absolutely horrible and getting in & out is difficult. Caliber did decent work but they don't do anything about the parking and that really proved to be an issue each time we were there. Caliber called us on Friday and asked us to withhold writing a review as they didn't want their rating to be effected and said the manager would talk to Toyota and I would get a call back on Monday. Today is Wednesday and since I hadn't heard from them, I called. The woman barely remembered the situation. Basically, Toyota said will see what they can do about the parking issue. I'm telling you it's bad and there's no one around to help and move the cars. read more

I'm a pretty simple guy and I don't demand much. I just want my car fixed. Apparently, 4-5 months since the fix, there are more problems with the car than I expected. A lot of shady things happened to my car. I'll be very concrete and logical with this review. Farmers recommended me to these people, but I'm left very disappointed and angry. I never had a problem with any car repair shop in my life, even when they fixed it, I tried not to be nit picky with them and went my own way. It sure backfired not making a complaint ASAP cause I just want my car fixed to go to work. Insurance charged me 35 for the new wheel. I paid for the new tire. Apparently, I have a spare tire/rim in the trunk of my car. When I had a flat tire a few days ago, I looked for my spare tire and it was gone. I knew Collision Tires used my tires and rims and claimed they purchased a new one. This is very unprofessional and shady. This is a 5 thousand dollar fix and it felt like it was half of that. The point of insurance is to fix whatever damage that happened at the accident and restore it what it was before. I'll make this clear, if there's a rebuttal by Collsion, okay, my back bumper was comestically damaged before, but I'm not going to talk about that because it has nothing to do with this complaint. The complaint was that they rushed my car and I don't feel my car is the same as before. They also lost the cap of my rims, and said they'll call me back. Never did. It's already since August they didn't call me for that piece of cap on the rim. There are weird noises coming out of the front car. A shhhh sound at times. I hear clinking sounds when I brake. I understand no one is perfect and that's why I usually take things back if I find there is a problem. If these people claim took my spare tires/rims from teh back of my car and claimed to the insurance that they bought it. Professional this is wrong and shady business practice. It is not honest. I will be making a complaint to farmers about this and I will go to these people on monday. I will keep posted about this. My car is not the same as before and they claimed some things in the receipt that they didn't even pay for. REALLY SHADY. I do not recommend these people. Summary: Shady people. read more

If your car is an accident, then this is place for you. I was in car accident where a food truck hit my car from behind. The damage looked worse than it seemed. I had the major damage to driver side panel, trunk and bumper. I really love my car and was really hoping my insurance would not total my car. I was referred to Caliber Collision by my insurance, Farmers Insurance. Caliber is one of their approved shops that they use for their customers. Originally, my car was gonna be fixed at the Long Beach location. 1. The great thing about using Caliber Collision is that like in my situation, when one shop is busy, they will another Caliber Collision location who is NOT BUSY to WORK on your car IMMEDIATELY. Isn't that great? They understand your time is money and want to get your car started on right away with no delay's. They ended shipping my car to the Ladera Heights (Inglewood) location because they we're busier at the time but still made sure my car got worked on quickly as possible. 2. Eric is your guy to help with you all your needs. He was the person who was assisting me with getting my car fixed. He's super helpful at explaining everything and stand out professional. I liked how he gave me realistic finish date on the car. I've been through this before so I understood the process. He has said roughly 4 weeks. The great news is that is ended up being done sooner at 3 weeks. 3. Rent a car. They will help set you up with a rent a car if needed. In my case, it was Enterprise Signal Hill which was also a great experience. They even offer to return the rent a car for you? Who does that right. These guys are great 4. Updates: they will give you constant updates by email, phone call or text. You can also always drop by top see the progress of your car at the moment 5. THE CAR: It's like the accident never happened. Again, I love my car and was hoping it wouldn't be totaled by insurance. The saved my car and it made my year knowing they could So again, I would defenitely recommended this place in getting your car fixed and ask for Eric. They got me car back looking brand new and back driving. Thank you Caliber Collision Long Beach for all your help. read more
