Just a warning for how this branch treats customers. I got a threatening call from Alexandra demanding payment for an insurance repair that was done months ago. No wonder they were removed from the better business bureau. We had paid our deductible and gotten a receipt from Calibur when the repairs were completed. When I asked for proof or receipt of what was not paid, she refused to email it to me and just kept repeating if we didn't pay she send us to collections. She first said she could not email us anything and then changed her tune when we said if she sends us to collections with no proof this would end badly for them. Then all she did was email us some screen shot in their system with no breakdown just the amount she asking for. This women was so ignorant and disrespectful trying to blame us for a problem that's clearly on their end. This just goes to show how this company will bully you and threaten you to try to cover up their own mistakes. read more

I would not recommend this place to fix your car after an accident. I bought our Subaru Legacy and had to come back for them to fix issues. The hit was the front left of the vehicle. The bends in the bumper were not all the way through, it stopped. See pictures. After keeping the car close to 3.5 weeks. They had lost a lug nut for one of my tires that had to be taken off to fix the car. Also: when I bought the car back for the bumper issue, they miraculously found an Axel issue with the car that needed to be fixed (out of pocket). The worst offense was they were going to charge me 5% 'betterment charge'. This charge is for the fact they're fixing your car to make it better. Hell No! I called my insurance and they said I was only responsible for my Deductible. The Agent ended up talking to this Shop. Caliber does have a good receptionist who gets back in time via text/email. read more

I went to this body shop because of Geico's recommendation. They painted the passenger side of my vehicle which is a maroon color. The parts they painted don't match with the other parts. When I said I am not satisfied with the result, they said they will take care of it. After 3-4 days, they never touched that parts and called me to pick it up. They claimed that painted parts never match with the original one. If I knew, I wouldn't let them do the job. They never informed me. Additionally, they forgot to fix and paint one part that was in the initial estimate. I waited couple more days to be completed it as well. If you want different tones of paint all over your car, take your vehicle to the Caliber Collision. read more

Horrible. They do not communicate with you to let you know the progress of your car. I was told it would take 2 weeks and I did not get my car back until a little over 3 weeks later. When I did go to pick up my car there was what appeared to be white paint splatter all over the front bumper of my car along with a huge gash. They insisted that my car looked like that when I dropped it off. I showed them picture which they had taken of my car showing that it was NOT like that when I brought it in and only then did they fix my front bumper. read more

Overpriced. I went here to get a quote on painting a door handle that I purchased from the dealer for my car because it needed to be replaced. They quoted me over $160 just to paint a handle. I knew the paint didn't cost that much and the amount of time to do it would be minimal. I found someone else to do the job for less than $40 (professionally). read more

I had to have an almost full body repainted to due to a lot of chips and scratches and a windshield replacement. I had to leave town with my car two weeks later. Plus I have a very distinct flat matte white color. The completed my car on time. As a result of the windshield replacement, they did not properly replace the wipers correctly and reset the wipers' sensor. There isn't a Caliber Collision in my vacation location. I have to believe that unless you are going through an insurance company, you will be pushed to the back of the line as often as they need to. I was told my repairs would take 3-4 days, four being the worst-case scenario. I was not provided updates as others have mentioned. On the fourth day I called to see if I would be picking it up and was told it would be done the next day, maybe two days. I reminded them that I was told 3-4 days and was told very patronizingly that weekend days don't count (I dropped it on a Thursday night - this was Wednesday morning so I wasn't counting the weekend) and that "estimates are just that - an estimate." When I asked why I had not been contacted sooner to let me know that the estimate was overly optimistic, they had no answer. On Thursday afternoon, I was told it could be ready by first thing in the morning. It needed to be cleaned. I called Friday morning, and was told I might get it that day. When I balked, she said I could pick it up at two, was that ok? I said no because I had an appointment at 2:30 that I'd already rescheduled two times when I thought I'd have my car back. She told me it could be ready at noon. I asked if that was a guess or a fact and was told a fact. I arrived at 12:15, it was still in the shop and still had to be cleaned. I waited until 1:40 to get it. There were two issues I questioned with the trim and bumper in different locations, but I didn't have time to wait any longer. There was also yellow paint all over the tires and some green flecks on the bumper that I was able to scrape off with my fingernail. I called the two days later to take it back for the above-mentioned issues and was told they needed to order brackets, they would get them the following day so I could bring it in the day after that in the morning and wait for it. That was today, which came and went with no call. I called just after four and was told only one of the brackets came in, the other should come tomorrow. If you are going through an insurance company who can advocate for you, they may be fine. But as someone who just paid a lot of money out of pocket for repairs that took almost six days and are still not quite right, I am highly dissatisfied and do not see a lot of evidence that they care. read more

Six stars on a five star scale! This is one of the best automotive shops I've ever been to in my life, and the best collision/auto body center. They have excellent customer service that goes above and beyond to get the job done right and make the customer happy. The repair quality is also excellent. I've gone here three times, and a fourth time in between I had wished I had come here instead of the dealer. In 2013 when on the interstate flying debris hit my new SUV on the top left above the door rear door from behind, taking a small chunk of metal from the car. Caliber make it look perfect again. A year or so later I was randomly shot at when driving slowly over a speed bump in a neighborhood -- two bullets hit the passenger doors verified by the police. Caliber made the doors look like new again. [A couple of years later I had my left window smashed in a break-in. Taking it to the Subaru dealer on Route 40 (where I purchased the vehicle) to get the window replaced was a nightmare, as the dealer didn't detail it to clean up the glass shards until I forced them to do so. Caliber has the interior detailed as standard operating procedure whenever glass is broken, and would have done a better job in less time with far less hassle. I wish I had taken it to Caliber...] Recently I had my left front bumper repaired from a side swipe in a parking lot. They did a great job. A few weeks later it looked like it started to come off half of the bracket holding it to the left front panel. I took it back and they looked at it, demonstrated how it would only do that if someone had tapped the the front bumper in a parking lot or parallel parking (which wouldn't have left a noticeable mark on the plastic part of the front) with a bit of force. Even still, they immediately pulled it into the garage and put it back on the bracket, making sure it was holding as it should, and had it finished in only a few minutes. They said if I have more problems from the bracket not holding, they'll replace it for me, all under my original repair. You can't get any better service than that! They are top notch, best of the best! I have nothing but praise for these guys, and they've earned every bit of it! read more

before you come here- please read. I had my vehicle with Caliber for about six weeks between August and September. I was told multiple times that I was going to get the car multiple different days and at the end it took about six weeks to get the vehicle back. I would be told "ok it's definitely coming to you September 7th!" on September 7th, i would be told "oh we didn't realize we needed this part." "its back ordered." "we need another part." "the mechanic had an emergency." All of that was frustrating, but i didnt make a big deal about it. I was also told that my rental car coverage would be covered by caliber because it was over 30 days. I asked twice if they'd spoken to Hertz and they said yes yes no problem. After I was told this would be done, the rental car place took $140 out of my account. I was guaranteed that i would be receiving a check from corporate. i'm yet to receive anything and its been almost two months! i'm extremely frustrated and feel like I had a horrible experience and was lied to even after I got my car back! I even went online and a good review because I did feel bad that you didn't have the correct parts but now I'm regretting that. My car also has a huge hole where the windshield wiper fluid goes, and it is on the same side of the car I had my accident, but it wasnt fixed and i didnt notice until i went to put in wiper fluid and it leaked out. I reached out to the manager, Marisa, and am yet to receive a response, just a voicemail but i want a paper trail!! everyone was nice and pleasant but what a nightmare to get the car back!! read more

I was a fan of Elite Autohaus that occupied this shop before Caliber bought them out last year. I figured I'd give Caliber a shot repairing our Honda Accord since they told me they had retained the Elite repair staff and I found one positive review here on Yelp. Unfortunately, while this was among the simplest body repairs I've ever had ($1,100 door scuff), repair time was longer than ever before (3 full weeks). Caliber called to reschedule pick up 3 times, each time delaying another day or two. On the final day the car was to be ready by noon, but when I stopped by at 3:30 the car was "still in the shop" and needed another 30 minutes "to be cleaned". When I eventually saw the car, the repair area was still dusty and smudged from, I guess, a rushed wash job. This made it impossible to see the quality of the repainted areas and to determine if the work was done correctly. In the end the car was clean and the repair looked correct. I will not return to Caliber. read more
