Just a fair warning - these people will rob you blind. If they tow your car expect to pay $300 at a minimum. Merciless in every way.

If you're reading this it's probably too late for you…read more By now, you may have realized Mark's Auto Body is not a place for regular, working-class people or regular (economy) cars. First, they kept telling me about alternate parts and that they couldn't use alternate parts if I wanted a certified Chevy repair. My ninja, this is a Chevy Cruze, not a Lambo, just make it run so I can reach my full-time job, attend my full-time graduate education, and run my part-time business. I couldn't care less what parts you use. But he just basically said if they didn't use the parts that cost more, they wouldn't be able to stand by their work (no warranty). Not a good look.... But secondly, when you try to say the damages are over $8k for a car only worth $9.5k (2011 Chevy Cruze) instead of totaling the car out... That's what you call a vulture and is mainly the reason why I believe Mark's Auto Body needs to take several seats. Shame on Autonation Chevy (now Ourisman Chevy) for referring me to them when I asked them for a Chevy dealership. Mark's Auto can respond to this review any way they desire, but pictures don't lie. Attached is a photo of my estimate from Mark's Auto (they call it a blueprint) vs a KBB private party valuation. Again, over $8k for a $9.5k (maybe) car. Instead of being honest and totaling it out to begin with, they wanted to go ahead on with the repair. Then they told me multiple times that I would be responsible for paying whatever the at-faults insurance company didn't pay. Yes, I got nervous and scared. I pleaded with them. I told them I'm in school and I work, and I don't have enough money to pay the difference (it was 2k after one adjustment). Especially because the accident wasn't my fault! They were NOT having it, lol. I said OK I don't want my car to be here anymore. Then, I was told it would be hundreds of dollars for them to remove my car from their shop. Also, at this point, I'm looking on Yelp and seeing reviews from people just like me. Lol, I don't know how their google listing rating is so high? Anyway, I called my insurance company, who declared total loss RIGHT AWAY. Both insurance companies (both at-fault's and mine) had nothing but negative things to say about Mark's Auto body practices. Greed, it's all greed. In the end, I didn't have to pay anything and I was relieved to have Nationwide swoop in and rescue me because I promise you these people over at Mark's are like robots with no emotion. Especially, Jason, he is rude when you ask probing questions to get the answers you need. You should probably only come here if you are rich and really, really LOVE your flashy, expensive car. If you have a regular, schmegular economy or commuter car, do NOT come here because they will try to rip you off. Like I said, pictures don't lie.

I am extremely impressed with these folks. I have had some bad experiences with the maintenance…read moredepartments at nearby Ford dealerships, and decided to try to find a local mechanic for my Ford Escape. Having seen Baltimore Body Shop recommended on Reddit, I decided to give it a try for an all-around brake pad replacement that I had been procrastinating on. The service was fantastic! Their service advisors were willing to give a clear, detailed estimate over the phone, they were willing to put on customer-purchased brake pads (which I did not have, but I appreciated that they asked), and the job was done in about 4 hours. I was very pleased with the honesty and helpfulness of the staff, and from what I can tell, the work done was high quality. I will definitely be back!

Things started off smoothly. Baltimore Body Shop and Service was willing to fix damage to my bumper…read morefrom a minor fender bender. They told me it would take 5 business days. On the fifth business day, I called in the morning to see when my car would be ready for pickup. They told me it would be ready after 12PM. Then, I received an email about the fog light plug at 2PM that day (email attached for review). I thought it was odd since my car had been at their shop for 5 business days and a weekend and this was not noted previously. I refused to get it repaired, and I wanted my car back for the evening. I had to drive to DC that night. After I received my car, I realized that my bright lights did not work and my left turn signal was rapidly clicking. This made me think that something was not right with the car after I picked it up. I scheduled an appointment that evening on the day I got my car back with a different mechanic used by family and friends around the DC area for the following day. It turns out that wires on the driver's side were not reconnected after re-attaching the bumper and harness back on the car. The fog light plug was fine, but the wire to it was cut and needed to respliced for it to be connected again. There were missing bumper clips (see additional bumper clips in the list of materials) that had to be added to the bumper to secure it into place, so my bumper was not even secured to the car after the work had been done to it at the Baltimore Body Shop and Service. There was even a missing bulb from the front of my car! I attached the report from the second mechanic who had to re-plug the wires, reconnect the cut wires, replace bulb, and add the bumper clips to secure the bumper back into place. I had to pay more money to remedy the situation, since it was dangerous to operate my car (bumper could have fallen off; brights did not work; left turn signal was not working - fast clicking sound). If this task cannot be performed well, please do not offer to do it.

I had two works performed by this Body Works on two different cars…read more 1. Catalytic Converter replavement 2. Front bumper repair This is hands down my worst experience with any workshop. The exhaust work was performed poorly. I am getting loud noise from the exhaust. When I told him, I was told that work is fine, the noise is coming from the engine. When I checked under the car. I noticed the exhaust was connected to the engine without a flange. It was loosely hooked to the engine that was causing the noise. He still refused to do any work (he was paid already) The second work was the replacement of the front bumper. I have never seen a poorly performed work. The color did not match. He left-out a small part of the bumper (one square inch of the block that is an add-n to bumper) without painting, refused to take care of and demanded more money to paint that one square inch of plastic that is attached to the front of the bumper. That is not all, he lost my front registration plate which I noticed after coming home. When I contacted again, he told me if I checked the car. When I told him that it was not in the car, he said, can't do anything, it is my problem. Even that is not all, I opened the car hood, found that the panels he removed, all the pushpins were either broken or missing. Oh....forgot to mention, he quoted one price but for both works demanded more money than he agreed upon when I went for pickup. Both works were way late than originally agreed upon. You go to this shop on your own risk. enough warning is given

I brought my truck in to have it serviced the repairs were supposed to take two weeks but took 6…read moredays longer due to projects he was doing on the side. Then when I got my truck back the back door wouldn't shut properly the door open alarm kept going off. The paint job has runs in it and the rail repair is wavy. The paint job is sub par doesn't match well and my truck is only 2 years old 2017. My insurance company has tried repeatedly to get the owner to answer a few questions to help them understand why it took a week longer due to rental cost and he would just hang up on them I called him today and several times before asking him to take care of it I was hung up on once and today he told me and I quote "you can suck my mother f****** di*k" I've had my truck back 3 times to get the door fixed he wants to blame it on after market parts. I told him I'll take it to a different shop have them fix it and bill him for it. This shop is not a good choice to take your vehicle to it's so bad one of his employees that worked on my truck killed him self

Pretty happy with the outcome of the work done. It's unfortunate I was involved in an accident…read more(minor thankfully). But it took them about 2.5 days to get my car back. They explained every step of the way, gave calls during the process of the paint prep and even gave me some options to take care of some other scratches I had on the car. When looking for a car shop, you worry about perfect paint match. Paint did look like it matched up just fine. I did find a few very small bubbles which isn't a big deal but as a car enthusiast, I would always have that in the back of my mind since it's not OG factory paint anymore. They also took care of adding more clips to secure the bumper more which I was missing and didn't know. The painter then came out and took some time to talk about my car and what was done which I liked a lot. That's good customer service. Only flaw I think they had when I picked up the car was my interior was very dusty, as if they left the windows down while painting and sanding down old paint. I had to detail my car once I got home and wiped every single part of my car down. Over all happy, 4/5 only because they left the interior a little dirty and I have asthma. Dust and asthma don't mix well. Thank you for doing my car quick and getting me back on the road!
