This location's parking lot can be a hassle but I found a spot nearby and entered through the specified pick-up door. The restaurant was clean and tidy with a few diners both in and outdoors and a few others waiting to pick up orders. You pick up your order by your first name, which I enjoyed once I figured it out :) They were very quick about getting everyone out with their orders. It took me about 15 minutes to get home and on the way, YALL, I could NOT get over how amazing the food smelled! My entire family was really impressed. Everything was absolutely delicious. I had the Spicy Rio Burrito with a black bean tortilla, other choices are flour or whole wheat. It was packed with flavor and big enough for two meals for me. The roasted garlic was also really tasty. Only thing I have to say is they do use chicken thighs so... expect that dark meat grease. It was in fact also a lil spicy, as indicated in the name. Pros: I really love that they let you do all kinds of customization for their bowls.. I love the spaghetti squash as a base and the coconut rice. Also a big fan of their garlic lime edamame. Cons: their seasoned ahi tuna needs work, the pieces were huge and the quality was very low (there were a ton of I guess membrane, the white lining that makes it super chewy and inedible..you definitely can't chew through it and ultimately needs to spit it out or swallow it Unenjoyably) Also, pricing it's bit much for what you get, once I customize, it's about $18 a bowl with ahi tuna and spaghetti squash..portion wise is good if you are not a big eater or if you don't need much protein.. read more

It's great to have returned to this location after a year hiatus! While other Ciccio restaurants are changing up the menu this Cali seems to stay consistent. Don't get me wrong, I love new menu items and specials. Just not crazy about remixes and retiring the classics. Brunch was absolutely delish thanks to a solid steak and egg bowl. I don't remember it having peppers and onions but that's an additive I adore. I used to order it with spinach so maybe I substituted... I can't remember. I love my breakfast bowls with the Ciccio potatoes base. Can't go wrong with home fries. The restaurant is still chill with exceptional service. The live music always enhances the vibes. Ciccio Cali Brandon is located off Bloomingdale Avenue, 1 block from Providence, in Riverview, next to Boca Kitchen, The Egg & I, and Nothing Bundt Cakes. Ciccio Cali is inspired by food tours of California and serves 15 types of healthy made-to-order rice bowls, 6 types of tacos, 6 types of juices and 6 types of wraps with antibiotic free meats, fresh veggies , and high protein options leaving you feeling lighter and healthier. We came with coworkers for lunch and had to wait in line to place our order at a register but the line moved quickly with 2 cashiers and we were able to order in under 5 minutes. Drinks are self serve and they have a cucumber infused water on the house which is pretty nice. The decor of the restaurant is very nice with white high back leather booths along the back of the restaurant with a cool large blue rose painting that kinda reminded me of a chic Miami vibe. Upbeat music house music was playing in the background and was not too loud but enough to create a nice festive atmosphere and be able to talk. Our food was brought to our table in under 10 minutes which was nice. For dinner, the atmosphere is more formal, a server can take your order at your table which is nice. For the bowls, you can pick your base of: yellow rice, quinoa brown rice blend, sticky rice, coconut avocado rice, mixed greens, Japanese udon noodles, spaghetti squash, haves Brussels and kale blend. For the bowls, you can pick your protein of: seared ahi tuna, grilled shrimp, chargrilled steak, blackened chicken, chargrilled chicken, crispy chicken, and roasted veggie blend. I got the Hot & Crunchy rice bowl with grilled shrimp, coconut avocado rice, cucumber-jicama mix, scallion, soy sauce, smashed avocado, sesame,Sriracha aioli, and crispy tempura onions. I added a side of Sriracha and peanut aioli from the Thai bowl for best of both bowl and a hint of sweet and spicy! For $11, it was a great deal and so tasty! The serving size was huge and I could barely finish it! 12/10 On another occasion, I got the Thai bowl with seared Ahi Tuna, Japanese Udon Noodles, Mango, jicama, carrot, scallion, cilantro,crispy wontons, peanut aioli, and togarashi. The serving size was very large and the ahi tuna was seared perfectly and very tender and tasty! 12/10 My coworker got the Fajita bowl with chargrilled steak, quinoa brown rice blend, seasoned black beans, sautéed onions, sautéed bell peppers, guacamole, jalapeño jack cheese, and a side of salsa and he really like his meal as well. For dessert, I got the chocolate s'more cookie and it was so good with large chunks of chocolate, large chunks of marshmallow, a soft texture, and really tasted like s'mores! 12/10 I look forward to coming back soon to try the spicy Brazilian bowl, having more hot & crunchy bowls with shrimp or ahi tuna, and making it back for taco Tuesday to try some of their tacos! Visited during Sunday brunch. First time. Recommended by a friend. The food was very delicious. Ordered the steak and eggs bowl with tri-colored potatoes and sourdough toast. Steak was perfectly cooked and the potatoes were tasty. They brew the coffee for each order so had to wait a minute. Was quite strong and only milk to dress it up but not really complaining. I visited this restaurant as a solo diner. Upon arriving I was asked to wait for a table. Although the restaurant was NOT busy and there were several open tables. I proceeded to wait accordingly. After 3-4 minutes another party of 3 came in and was immediately seated. Shortly after a party of 4 came in and was also seated immediately. This was very upsetting to me as I felt like no one wanted to wait on one measly patron. I then took my name off the list and advised the staff I was leaving because I had been waiting ahead of the 2 parties that were seated. No one offered a solution. I will definitely not be visiting again nor recommending this restaurant to anyone in my circle. Customer service and quality are a rarity in todays age. Sad! read more

Been here on so many occasions and loved it every single time! I think this is one of the "healthier" food spots in the Bloomingdale/Brandon area. They have plenty of gluten-free and vegan menu options. They also have spaghetti squash as a base which is unique to any other eatery in the area...and it's really yummy. Top menu items: Tony's chicken marsala pizza, Southwest bowl, Brazilian bowl, Thai peanut bowl, homemade chocolate chip cookie, maximosa. On Saturdays, they have a brunch menu and a live musician outside which is pretty cool. Gotta try the maximosa in strawberry or peach! Location-wise it's great but parking is a hassle sometimes. The lot is tiny and your competing for spaces with the neighboring restaurants and businesses as well. Most parking spots are parallel parking too. They have another location in Soho and somewhere else in DT Tampa I believe...I think the menu has a few differences based on location but I'm not sure on this. Once they messed up my order (gave yellow rice instead of brown rice) and the waitress told me to pick a cookie to make up for it. I thought this was super sweet. Plus the cookie was delicious! Ciccio Cali is my newest and fondest obsession - how or why I didn't discover this place earlier is beyond me. Don't make the same mistake as I did - go, go now! When first moving to the Tampa Bay area, all the hype seemed to be around Fresh Kitchen, but I think the attention truly needs to be directed at Ciccio Cali. They are whipping up some magic in here, and I'm one of their biggest fans. I'd come here every single day if I could. Ciccio Cali proves that a fantastic meal doesn't always have to come in the form of extravagantly, buttered up concoctions that have way too many calories than necessary. Fresh, flavor-packed, healthy food is what's awaiting you here. I got the Hot N' Crunchy Tuna bowl while my mom got the Half Moon Shrimp bowl. I was enamored with both dishes; I tried to drag my meal out as long as possible just to enjoy the flavor and textures for a little longer. I don't think you can go wrong with anything you order, but I would highly recommend the Hot N' Crunchy Bowl. And by the way, you can tell just how fresh the seafood is in these dishes! But oh my gosh, guys, the avocado hummus is out of this world - hands down, one of my top 3 favorite appetizers of all time. Hey, don't forget to hit up the alcohol here. Their (red) sangria is actually some of the best that I have had around this area...and it was cheap! $5 for some bangin' sangria? Uh yes, keep 'em coming. I've been here multiple times, usually during lunch hour. I've never tasted their tacos or pizzas. I typically order a bowl (I've tasted most of them) or guacamole (it's delicious). Service is generally pretty good. Very friendly, but sometimes while seated on the patio I tend to be forgotten (out of sight?). That's not the case today. Today I have had two separate servers come and ask if I needed anything. The food here is fresh, made to order, so don't expect "quick." It's not a fast food restaurant. It can take anywhere from 10-20 minutes to get your food. That's okay by me, but just wanted to mention it in case someone has expectations otherwise. The quality of the food is worth it. There are options to fit anyone's taste - several choices of bases and proteins, and lots of vegetarian options. I love their covered outdoor seating area (my favorite), although the inside of the restaurant is also very clean and accommodating. No complaints. read more

I didn't enjoy my experience at Cali. My son begged to go because he had been before. He ordered what he put together last time which was VERY simple. Waitress wrote it down and said okay. After a long wait the food came back wrong and the waitress disappeared. Tried to get it fixed on her eventual return. This is on a Monday evening and not busy at all. She brought one thing out and it still wasn't right. Waited again. Finally went up to the counter to seek assistance. They acted confused over a simple request. Waitress came over and gave incorrect information. Finally they figured out what I was asking. It was not complicated at all... meal was fixed after a ton of effort just to get the sauce my son asked for. Then again waiting forever for the check. Never got a drink refill. Then waited forever for the check to get picked up with my card. Another waitress noticed me looking around for her for so long and grabbed the check. Then she disappeared too and my card was gone waaaaay too long for comfort. There were only like 3 tables with a few people at each and two working waitresses. Very frustrating experience over all. The Thai bowl I got had good flavor but was so cold. Not sure if it is supposed to be or not? But would have been much better warm. Noodles tasted like they came out of a fridge. I was excited to try this place but probably won't go back. If the service was more attentive everything could've been fixed early on and got the drink refill etc and I'd have been fine. read more

The food is delicious but unfortunately their customer service is trash. I came in with my two week old newborn, and the host told me to have a seat outside and she would clear the table. After we were seated another guy came out and told us that there was a wait but he would let us stay seated and come clean the table. They cleaned it and a 3rd woman came and kicked us out.
