My friend and I decided to try out Pizzaissimo as it was nearby and had good reviews. He built his own veggie pizza and we each had our own order of garlic knots. Since I can't eat cheese, I had an order without the Parmesan mix, although I wish I could still have had the garlic on them. Both of us were pleased and would order from them again. The service was pretty quick and inside wasn't too busy. We took ours to go. I wish they had vegan cheese as I had to order my pizza from another place where it was available. read more

We have been coming here for quite a while now. We would always get the white pizza. Which is very very very good. Tonight we switched it up and got an 8 inch white thin crust, and an 8 inch cheese pie with New York crust. Cheese pie was excellent. Both pies had a nice crispy crust. It's a "pizza" place not a go to Italian restaurant. Simple decor some tables and small cooler with some soda and water. It's been a few months since I had pizza and wanted to try Pizzaissmo again. I was not disappointed! Carry out this time. Just olives and onions. Loved that I was asked red or white was onions! Came a little earlier as it was in the oven when I arrived. Upon bring it home, everything was amazing! The smell, texture, sauce and toppings! Love a good pizza! I randomly had a taste for pizza and this was the first place that popped up. It's about 8 minutes away from where I live so I said why not? I approached the restaurant and saw that they have a lunch special for $7.75. That's a deal. Personal pizza, one topping, and a drink. Can't beat that at all. I, however, got a personal pizza but got 4 toppings. Grilled chicken, pineapple, jalapeños, and bacon. After I ordered, it took about 8 minutes for it to be ready. I dined in, they bring it to you. We have ordered from Pizzaissimo twice and the second time I ordered on-line. It was refreshing to see a well done or crispy option. It's always pleasant to taste a char on the bottom of your crust that isn't the taste of burnt bread. Two guys were working the typical pizza joint and they were both friendly. The young man working the counter was kind and honest when I asked several questions about recommendations. The location seemed to be doing a great deal of phone and on-line orders. They have several tables, but have only seen a couple people in the restaurant the two times we've picked up our order. This would be the perfect place to grab dinner after any sports event or lunch with some friends. Parking is not a concern, it's located in a strip plaza that shares spaces with Publix. We ordered a 16" Works. It came steaming hot and the crust was thin and crispy. Plenty of toppings but not so many to be overwhelming. Sauce was good and everything tasted fresh. Hidden gem in Brandon. We've tried almost every pizza shop in the greater Tampa area chasing a favorite, and this has claimed the title so far. Right off the bat they don't have wings which is a bummer for a pizza joint, especially one that offers dine in. They don't have fountain drinks, just a cooler, which is fine to me because I usually get water. They also advertise brick oven, but there's no brick oven. On the bright side, the pizza was fantastic. The sauce was amazing, the cheese was perfectly layered and the pepperoni had great flavor and was not too greasy. I would definitely order their pizza again. Maybe not dine in, but on that note, the dining experience was great and service was great.
