BP needs to improve service, the quality of food, knowledge of the menu & ticket times. We always order takeout pizza from BP, never had a problem. Today was my birthday, so we decided to dine in and try different items on the menu - won't do it again. Terrible. The server was lost, meatballs & sausage sandwich were cold (sandwich was not fully cooked, and sloppy), draft beer was sour, fries never came to the table, and the personal pizza my wife ordered came out 25mins after everything else was put on the table. We had to take the pizza to go, she didn't even get to eat her meal with us - gave her some of mine... These days, every time you leave the house it costs $100, I get it, that's not BP's fault. But to spend over $100 plus tip on, a small personal pizza, a draft beer, sandwich, side of meatballs, fries (that never came), two small bowls of pasta & butter and a couple fountain drinks?! I can feed my family of 4 at Outback for the same cost. If it was good, I'd pay $150. If I'd never ordered from there before, they would have lost a customer. But $100+ for a terrible experience all-around, on what should be something that's a no brainer at a pizza shop? It's not hard to make these items well, and there were only 2 other people in the restaurant so they weren't busy. We went Friday night at 9:00p, they close at 10p. Stopped in around 430 on a Thursday. Absolutely no one in the place. But I also recognize that is an early hour for dinner (except in Florida :)). The service is amazing, the girls are always so sweet. Not sure what happened to the quality of food but, it's just not there anymore. These cheesesteaks were so cheesy they were creamy but not anymore. We even said 'hey there's no cheese on here' and the cook just brushed us off and pointed to the tiniest piece of cheese on the sandwich. Ordered pizza to go from here last night, had the supreme and the pepperoni pizza. They offer for 14 inch and 18 inch sizes. Brought it home to eat. It was hot fresh and tasted great! Did a call in pickup order, the service was great. After reading the reviews online I decided to get the lasagne, it came with 4 garlic knots total $20.11. The garlic knots had absolutely no butter or garlic, i'm guessing they forgot. The lasagne had no ricotta as mentioned on the menu. There was no layers to the lasagna it was about 1/4 of an inch in height and a small portion. Horrible, I'd recommend ordering anything else. read more

Great pizza place tucked away on Bell Shoals in Bloomingdale. They have a smaller game room in the back for the kids to play. This visit I ordered the antipasto salad, which comes with garlic rolls. The salad was loaded and tasted amazing. The only downside to the salad was the bowl, there was no room to do anything with the salad. Scared of it dumping out I placed it on a paper plate. The employees were great! They were attentive, efficient and very kind. We came in quite late and they did not complain or rush us out. I ordered for pick up, and it was ready on time. The zeppoles were still warm when I got home. The pizza is legit. It is close to NY-style pizza but has a slightly thicker crust. The wings were good. They were crispy and spicy, the way I like wings. The family loved the food and ate silently, with no complaints. Everyone was happy. I honestly selected this location in error via Ubereats , as I adore the Brandon- Oakfield location. Unbeknownst to me I got my order from the Valrico store. However, within my first bite, I instantly realized my error. The food was not only cold but taste as if it had sat for at least an hour awaiting a new home. I immediately contacted my beloved Oakfield Dr location due to how supreme their customer service I have PERSONALLY experienced has been to discuss the food quality, all to find out the mistake was mine and not theirs. After an egg on my face apology, I contacted THE CORRECT store VALRICO. At first impression, the crew member on the phone came off careless and placed me on hold to speak to management.Not only did I NOT get a chance to speak with management, the same crew member returned to advise me it's not a them problem, it's an Ubereats problem as they leave the pizza on stove until pickup. Usually I would be likely to believe them, if the ubereats driver did not deliver in record time and the food being cold. I have had pizza delivered several times before from different surrounding locations and never had it to this level of aging on it. Disappointed and absolutely at the point of I bet not return. I moved over to the Bloomingdale/Valrico area about 5 years ago. and as everyone knows when moving to a new neighborhood , it's imperative that you get your pizza joint in order. Being a native New Yorker, I am in fact a pizza snob, so finding anything relatively close to NYC is always a challenge down south, but the options are becoming better and better as the years go by. Bloomingdale Pizza has been in this area for about 15 years, and trust me, is a community staple. They are ALWAYS crowded, and the good food is a testament as to why. It's the perfect place to take the family and especially these days, isn't going to make you take out a second mortgage on your house to pay for it. It's not knock your socks off spectacular, but it's consistently good. I've honestly never been disappointed, and they have all of the usual staples (subs, appetizers, calzones and Strombolis) of the classic pizzeria including some really good dinners. My family orders from here at a minimum twice a month, mostly because of their pizza special which is amazing. Nice kid answers, I ask if they use fresh mushrooms, he says yes. I order three pizzas, two with mushrooms. Guess what, he LIED. nasty canned mushrooms all over my pizzas. Rest of pizza was just barely ok. Garlic knots are missing the garlic, marinara was decent. The stuffed mushrooms weren't half bad. So, spent over $80 on not very good pizza with CRAPY canned mushrooms. I am not happy about the pizza, but more unhappy about ordering after being told their used fresh mushrooms. I stop in here every few months on the way home from a doctor's appointment. The only thing I have ever ordered is the pizza, with extra cheese and whatever toppings I am in the mood for, and well done. Service is always cheerful and attentive, with my soda glass always being refilled without having to ask. The pizza came out in about 15 minutes and was done to perfection. I had leftovers to bring home and enjoy again for dinner. I would recommend Bloomindale Pizza for delivery as well, as I have done that several times. The order always arrives quickly, and I have never had an error in what was delivered. One caveat I would caution is that depending on the toppings you order, you may find the pizza a bit greasy for your taste. Being pragmatic in this regard, I have been known to use some napkins to blot up the extra grease (pepperoni is a constant offender). Recommended for the pizza. read more
