I used to eat here years ago because it's in the heart of Fishhawk. Tried some again last week and still great. Icky weather made me order an eggplant pizza today. I have to say it's insane. I was surprised instead of small crispy pieces of eggplant there is 1 nice thin crispy slice per pizza slice. A dash of sea salt and I am in pizza heaven. It is just take out now. No more dining room. Prices are good. It's made quick and ordered online. Young man at counter is very polite and polished. The owner is in the back making nomz. I said my quick hellos, grabbed my pie and dashed the 1/2 mile home to enjoy my friday night dinner. Excellent. read more

Decided to give Amici's a shot and it was definitely delicious. We're usually in the area for Cherry's but my daughter is obsessed with pizza so we decided to grab a small from Amici's and now we're hooked! The first pizza we got was just a cheese then we came back for a half cheese half pepperoni. It was so good. I'm a huge fan of this local gem. This place is located in Park Square. There is no indoor seating, but there are tables outside as well as an entire park to enjoy. We often meet up with friends, get pizzas, and all hang out outside because it's a beautiful area to do that in. They do also deliver, and you don't have to use a delivery app, which is rare these days. The owner is always super nice and efficient too. I've only ever had pizza and calzones here. They're so good, I don't know if I'd ever try anything else. If you get onions or green peppers on your pizza, they are sautéed here, and I love that touch. The meatballs are great! This is a great place with delicious food in a prime location. Winner all around! read more

At least once a week we have pizza and calzone, sometimes Rapini. Ihave been sick with bronchitis on and off for months and the most soothing thing I have experienced is the Italian Wedding Soup. Recently moved into the area. Can't eat pizza as much as when I was younger, but like to have it every 3-4 weeks. Tried a place down the block a few weeks ago. I was really disappointed. I usually order a large pizza, have a couple of slices and freeze the rest. The pizza I got at this other place was terrible. Crust was saturated with grease. Choked down a couple of slices and threw the rest of the pizza away. Tried Amici's last night. My niece was visiting. We both found the pizza to be first class, excellent crust, great pizza. This little gem of a pizza place is in the Park Square in Fishhawk Ranch. Parking is plentiful and when coming here you can get your food to go or sit outside at the numerous tables. We ordered a chicken parm dinner with salad and two 14" cauliflower crust pizzas. One with sausage, sautéed onions and peppers. The other with pepperoni. The chicken parm was very good, fresh and the sauce was tasty with perfectly cooked pasta. The cauliflower crust pizza, a great option for carb control and diabetics, was very good as well. The toppings were fresh and full of flavor. We would definitely come back and look forward to trying other items on their plentiful menu. Located within the FishHawk development at its "Town Center," this well-established NY pizza takeout joint hit the spot for lunch one afternoon with its pizza special: two large cheese slices with a canned drink for $5.99. The food was good and had a great staff. I think the problem I have is behind the scenes. Turns out the staff don't get their tips. The tips go to the house. That is ridiculous!!! Tips should go to those who provide service, not to the owners to "supply" a party for Christmas. Please bring cash for your servers, these kids work hard only to be treated terribly. Better yet, get fired... yep, some get fired if they inform others that the tip doesn't go to them. Even if the owner has a suspicion you told someone, you're cut. Lithia/FishHawk has a glut of pizza places. There are at least 10 spots to get a pizza picked up or delivered, and most of them are pretty forgettable. Amici's, however, is Extremely Good. Classic NY style, super thin, not especially greasy. Excellent pizza, all around. Apparently they do other Italian stuff too, but I will go to my grave never ordering anything else from a place like this. Get pizza or get out. Just a walkup counter, no tables inside although since it's in Park Square, there's plenty of outdoor seating as long as some hugeass group isn't bogarting all the chairs. I ordered an eggplant parm sandwich today. I found one slither of eggplant, and the rest was nothing but soggy breadcrumbs, sauce and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese. I had to throw it out rather than eat it. The owner /cook tells me he makes it lasagne style. There isn't any soggy breadcrumbs with a microscopic slice of eggplant in it. I am very upset that this establishment refuses to use any COVID practices. No employee from cashiers to cooks wear any masks and they are in a very small space.. I used to go regularly and pick up a pizza to eat outside. When I came this past weekend, not one employee had a mask on, not even dangling from their chin like the time before. No sanitizer in sight and they go from handling money/credit cards and cash register to giving you a paper plate/plastic ware to eat. My husband & I took a wrong turn & just happened to find this place so we stopped in to get a bite to eat. The service was really good. It was a pleasant environment. This is the best pizza in town! The local chains are ok and the other small pizza shops are good, but this is the best pizza! Order a large to get that perfect crust, smaller size will be a little thicker crust. I used to go to NY and would bring back pizza and bagels for my NYer wife. Our recent trip to NY and a few of their pizza joints left me wanting Amici's pizza. They also offer a number of other very good dishes.
