Came here on a Friday night with some friends who had come here several times before. For me it was my first time. Our party of 7 (on 3 separate checks) got seated right away. Service was spot on. Friends really hyped up the Que Pasta w/ meat sauce. They all said it was amazing and that the portion size was enough for two meals. My friends got the pepperoni rolls as an appetizer so I got to try one. OMG they were amazing! I could've eaten about 6 of those as my main dish. Hot and fresh out of the oven with the perfect crust texture and flavor. The Que Pasta was good but it was somewhat underwhelming. The meatball and sausage was just OK as far as flavor. I couldn't even tell it was a meat sauce and yes it was definitely a great size portion that ended up being two meals for me. Not sure I'd get that dish again but I would definitely try the calzone and pizza as those looked really delicious every time they passed by the table. Definitely a good visit. My son wanted to eat at this place per his friends recommendation. Place sits next to a Turkish restaurant. Plenty of parking in front and around the restaurant. Restaurant seem to have plenty of seating, it was clean and although the place was packed (7pm on a Friday), the server came around to take our order of drinks and food within 5 minutes of being seated. Menu prices are on the mid range. We ordered 3 pizzas, 1 was a medium pepperoni with extra cheese, the other one was large cheese, and the 3rd one was an individual deep dish pizza. We also ordered a Gnocchi plate. Overall, it was not bad. Pizza or cheese flavor was ok. I'm more into New York style pizza, where you can taste the sauce a lot more than you can taste the cheese. In this place, I could not taste the sauce that much. I mean, it was not bad, just not what I was looking for. The Gnocchi was not bad, plenty of sauce/cheese on it. Happy to finally get to try Olde Town Pizzeria. My friend told me a while back that they do Chicago style pizza and try it and see what I think. We tried it and loved it. This is hard for us to find since everything is mostly New York style. We had the deep dish Supreme requested taking out the onion and adding pineapple. Good pizza is judged by everything - a good amount of sauce, cheese, fillings, & crust. The crust must hold everything up. There's a lot of sad soggy pizzas out there. This was not one of them! Super impressed with this Chicago Deep Dish. They also have thin crust, and Italian beef, amongst other menu items. They have a location in Plant City as well. Olde Town Pizzeria hit the spot for dinner but this definitely isn't my favorite pizza to eat. My wife and I were near Brandon and needed to eat dinner. After walking into Capitol Tacos and not feeling the vibe. It was hot, limited seating and their menu changed, we walked over to Olde Town. They are right next door to each other. We were seated right away, and our server was around quickly. She was friendly and got us started on drinks. Just soda and water. For a starter to share, we went with their award-winning Strawberry Walnut Salad. Fresh sliced strawberries, candied walnuts, mozzarella cheese and a red wine vinaigrette dressing bringing it all together. This salad was different but good. Sweet salads aren't our usually go-to but this was tasty and was a decent size. We finished it but it took some work. For dinner, we ordered the XL thin crust Olde Town. They only have two options for pizza, thin crust or deep dish. The Olde Town is topped with pepperoni, Italian sausage and smoked crumbled bacon. It didn't take long. This pizza was ok. I've had pizza at many different places but I wouldn't come back to Olde Town for theirs. It was hot and the toppings were ok but seemed very minced. They had to be though, because their standard is to cut the pizza like you're at a children's birthday party. An extra-large pizza, that serves 4 people, cut into tiny squares. I thought we got someone else's pizza but I confirmed with the waitress that this is how they do things. In the end, we barely ate half and brought the other half home for later. This pizza was ok and while the toppings didn't blow me away and the cut was unnecessarily inconvenient, and it was greasy the next day, it was pizza and I do like pizza. We did like the ambiance here. It was old school pizzeria with big wooden booths, red and white checkered tablecloths, pizza racks and parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes in little glass shakers. The staff was friendly and attentive. I'd say, try out Olde Town Pizzeria for yourself and if you do, get the Strawberry salad. There was no broccoli in my dish. Why would I mention this? My brother noticed almost every pasta entree has broccoli in it. Bae got a meatball sub. He is still talking about that sub two days later. Our family has made this our go to Pizzeria when we want a pizza parlor experience. My husband loves the deep dish pizza, my oldest kids go for thin crust pizza and my younger kids love the fettuccine Alfredo And the baked ziti. She did end up bringing us the pizza but not the pizza we ordered. It had NO sauce it was just cheese and pepperoni on half. So of course we waived her down again and explained our issue with the pizza she said you wanted ricotta right? I said excuse me? she begins to tell me that there's no sauce just ricotta. I was shocked I told her we wanted half pepperoni and ricotta as a topping not as a base for the pizza. By then we already been here so long we told her we could t wait for another because we had golf plans and it was getting dark. She took the pizza dropped off our bill and that was it. Olde Towne Pizza on Bloomingdale just refused service to us because we have a PTSD service dog in our group of 5 veterans and families. This is not a service dog that got its certification from a website, this is an actual trained service animal for a Veteran with PTSD. Obviously ignorance is bliss in this establishment as they must comply with ADA rules. The justification for this was "the owner doesn't want dogs in here". Another business that cares 0% for veterans with disabilities or for that matter anyone with a disability. Even other customers who are already dining were stating that was unfair, and it was ridiculous. Drive across the street to Your Pie and we were welcomed with open arms! It is actually a Misdemeanor to refuse service.
