He walked with a cane and had a gait belt around his waist (fall risk mitigator). He and his caretaker ordered. "Jane," the young lady behind the counter, smiled the whole time and sincerely exuded patience while this elderly man situated himself. The entire staff operated like a well-oiled machine. It has been some time since I was last here. The building offers a substantial amount of parking for visitors, and inside, there is a generous seating capacity. When you visit for lunch, you can typically find single slices of pizza available. However, if you arrive after lunch, those single slices won't be offered anymore, and you will need to purchase a whole pie instead. A cheese pizza was chosen by my son, while I opted for a calzone packed with meat. Since we visited on a Friday at approximately 6pm, there were many people around. Costs are in the range of moderate to high. It took about 10 minutes for my son's pizza to arrive, but my calzone took nearly 20 minutes for some unknown reason. To make matters worse, they delivered a Hawaiian style calzone instead of the meat lovers I had requested, leaving me to wait an additional 30 minutes for my meal. When my food finally arrived, my son had already finished his pizza. My son was underwhelmed by his pizza; he remarked that it reminded him of the pizza served at a bowling alley. "Since I've never tried pizza from a bowling alley, I'm unable to compare it." The meat lovers calzone I had was quite good. The staff was amazing and consistently attentive to your needs. Was in town visiting and we ordered from here. We got a pizza, wings, an antipasto salad, and garlic rolls. The pizza was decently close to NY/NJ pizza. The one I would choose the most in this area. The garlic rolls were fantastic and the wings were good. The salad was good but reminded me more of a chef salad. We chose to go, but have eaten in the pizzeria before and its traditional style atmosphere of a pizza place. The service was great and on time when we arrived to pickup. East Coast Pizza is a good option to head to if you are in the Riverview, Florida and craving that culinary wonder known as pizza. Growing up in New Jersey, I took it for granted that we had great pizzerias pretty much on every corner. When I moved down to Florida, I was surprised (and more than a bit dismayed) that good pizza was pretty difficult to find here in the Sunshine State. That's why when I find a good place for pizza, it is a time to rejoice and celebrate (and what better way to celebrate than with a slice of pizza in hand?). I have to say that I was impressed with my slice with extra cheese. When they said extra cheese, they meant extra cheese. The ambiance here is typical strip mall pizza place. Nothing fancy, but that is perfectly fine. There is nothing fancy or pretentious about pizza and the surroundings, at least in.my opinion, should reflect that. Service here was good and it was an overall positive experience. I would definitely recommend East Coast Pizza and I will give it an overall rating of five stars. This is our new favorite pizza place. They don't deliver but it's worth the drive. I live in Apollo Beach and the pizza was still warm by the time I got home this pizza was a large meat lovers and the price is about $20. Excellent crust, New York style thinner chewy. We make a point to have pizza when visiting relatives in the area. Good local pizza with lots of good quality cheese and nice crust. The antipasto salad is a good appetiser with generous toppings to share family style. Friendly service and confortable sitting fir large groups. They also sell by the slice. First attempt here and we tried the meat lovers pizza with jalapeños. First, it looks like the crust was prepackaged, preformed, and not handmade. The sauce was the only redeeming quality of the pizza. It had a really nice tangy tomato taste to it. The cheese was OK. It looked like the ham came out of an Oscar Meyer container that they cut up and put on top of the pizza. I'm not even sure what the sausage was. The pepperoni had no taste at all and it was buried underneath the cheese and cooked there. The crust was soggy, and the overall taste was pretty mediocre. We had to completely cover it with Parmesan, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and oregano to make it somewhat acceptable. Won't be back!!! Service at East Coast Pizza is always very fast and friendly. If you're a regular like I am most of the time - they'll make you feel like family - they know you're name and typically what your order is going to be. I usually come for their lunch special - which they have a variety of choices... two slices, a slice and a salad, hero and fries, calzone or stromboli + more. Usually there's about five to six different slices to choose from for lunch - ranging from Cheese Pizza, to Buffalo Chicken, to Supreme... all for a decent price - and the drink is always included (yes, free refills)! The quality of the pizza is my favorite because it's packed with flavor, not too much sauce, and as I'm trying to be healthier - I enjoy that the crust is thin. The ambience inside is nice; usually busy for lunch - but there's typically always a booth open... and there's a back space that I have yet to even see - but there's a bunch of space back there too. I personally enjoy the music they play; it's not the fancy Italian stuff, it's the upbeat stuff I grew up with.. ranging from 90s to Now. If you haven't tried it, check out East Coast Pizza... but save me a slice of Buffalo Chicken Pizza! read more

Walking into this place, the smell was amazing! We both were like "OH YEAH" as we had never heard of this place before but Yelped places in the area as we were passing through the area. Heard this place was amazing so had to give it a try. Pizza was burnt and cold and gross. They say 30 mins for pick up, cook it right away and have it ready in 15 mins so when you arrive at exactly 30 Mins, it's burnt and cold. Never have I ever had Buffalo chicken pizza made with red sauce. Normally it's white, garlic sauce, or no sauce because of the Buffalo wing sauce, but this pizza is basically breaded chicken on pizza with some hot sauce thrown in. Won't be back. read more

It's a little funky how you order your food, get a seat and they bring it to you, as it creates a jam up front. The pizza was worth the wait, which was about 25 minutes. The inside is nice and clean. We sat outside to wait for our food, most of the tables had crumbs on them so you have to watch out for that. At our table there were no crumbs but some liquid or sauce got on my boyfriend's white tee unfortunately. But we came here for food and not to be cute. This is a really nice neighborhood pizzeria. There is a huge parking lot, so parking is never a problem. When you walk in you order your food at the counter, the girls give you a number to place on your table. When your food is ready the lovely girls will bring it to you. The restaurant has a huge indoor and a really nice outdoor seating areas. There are tv's hanging up in the indoor part. The place has always been clean and I've always found the workers who are mainly young ladies to be extremely sweet and helpful. We have ordered many things off the menu.
