But anyhow, my friend was asked to leave her 8"X10" purse sized backpack up front, and the way the request was communicated made her feel belittled and stereotyped rather than treated with basic courtesy and respect. I understand that employees may need to follow store policies regarding bags, but those policies can be communicated professionally and without making a customer feel singled out or judged. Thank goodness there was another employee who intervened and allowed my friend to have her bag while she went to browse for what she came for. If it was me, I wouldn't bother to give any business whatsoever. I hope management addresses how these situations can be better handled so that customers are treated respectfully and consistently. Cause as of now, I'd rather spend my money at Home Depot and/or Lowe's. At least I'd get actual customer assistance and not be treated like some kind of shoplifter.

Details: I trusted them to deliver a refrigerator I purchased in the store. The sales person was very nice. He twice checked the stock and our deliver date twice the transaction. The following day I get a text that the item was cancelled for "no reason". It also said that I "won't be charged for the order". I check my back and this is not true. They took almost $1000 from me with nothing delivered, or purchased for the record! I call the store and am waiting on hold for about 10 minutes. So in the meantime I go to chat support and ask why. AI tells me "Cancelled due to out of stock and that no charge was made to my bank! Another non-truth discovering told by a Lowe's computer. I then finally get the Lowe's store appliance dept rep on the phone. He then tells me he was about to call me. The. Goes about up selling me on a LG, when I bought Frigidaire! I then say I want my money back and I should not have been charged. Not his fault. So I hang up, as he wife is calling corporate to find out some truth from a human Calling corporate was the most cold blooded customer experience. Service was quick and thank you to the staff who helped me load six 40lbs salt pellets Diamond Crystal bright & soft($8.99) to my car. Also I have their rewards app so I was able to use a $10 coupon off over $50 spending. Without the coupon, their regular retail price $8.99 is a bit more costly than Home Depot $6.73 per pack (bulk price -6packs or more or $7.48 regular price) but with the coupon it offsets the large price gap. I am paying about $4 more than Home Depot but I think about the time I save for check out and I won't need to do the heavy lifting all by myself. Their service speed really helps when you know you can make a quick stop to get things done in a short amount of time. I hope ACE can think about offering bulk pricing on sale pellets in the future so their price is more comparable to Home Depot. I also noticed that they now got pies by the entrance! I know where to get some pies the next time I crave for it.
