Wonderful showroom and exceptional help from Ryan. He quickly put together the list of items I wanted for our kitchen remodel. He answered all of the questions I had anad make himself available for questions that might come up. Before the kitchen we utilized General Plumbing for our bathroom remodel. They are overpriced. We were looking for bathroom fixtures for a remodel. We found a mirror that we liked. It was "marketed" as a 36" which is what we were looking for. In reality, and we just found out as our contractor is almost ready to install - it's actually 2 18" mirrors put together! This was not disclosed by the salesperson. There are other places to shop for bathroom and kitchen remodels. Go somewhere else. read more

My wife and I were running many errands today, and we got to General Plumbing only 15 minutes before closing time. We walked throughout the entire showroom, and apparently all the salespeople were too busy to help us. We got to the very last desk at the very end of the showroom. It was there that Joshua Vargas pleasantly surprised us by asking if we needed some help. We did, and 15 minutes later we had picked out our new Bathtub and plumbing fixtures. It could easily have been a wasted trip if not for Joshua's willingness to help a couple in distress during those last few minutes just before quitting time. read more

Needed to change out my old shower hardware to newer. Was told by every store (Home Depot, Lowe's) what they had would work. Wrong! Had to take it all back. Then I went to General Plumbing and talked to Joe. He was wonderful. Knowledgeable. And knew exactly what I needed. He explained how to remove the old handle and put new one on. And it worked! I did it! Didn't cost me $200 for a plumber. A few screws and it just slipped right on. Wow! Please save your sanity, and go talk to Joe first. He'll help you and steer you in the right direction! They most likely will have the part in stock. No waiting weeks to get it, only to find out it's the wrong one. Thank you Joe. read more

I came in to get a control valve for an unidentified shower head control . I took a photo of the unit with me. The counter person, Marvin Chukes was very helpful in helping me track down the correct part. Although his efforts failed to turn up the right ID he tried valiantly and then referred me to the inside showroom where one of the sales people knew it right away. Marvin you are a great assest to General Plumbing. J. Lodge read more

Excellent service. We worked with Josh who was very helpful, knowledgeable, and professional ... and so very patient with our many questions. Nice showroom, great selection. read more

Customer service is nonexistent here. Over 20 minutes we walked by 5 employees and not one even bothered to say hello, let alone ask if they could help us so we left and will never be back. 3 literally were sitting in their seats behind desks and didn't bother to get up nor say hello until I looked at one squarely who finally said hello and then just sat there. Clearly they don't need business or aren't incentivized to sell product or assist customers so we don't need to waste our time here. And neither do you. read more

Hi my husband bought a piece a plastic pvc pipe and Doug was helping him what a good costumer service

Not impressed. I went to the showroom looking for a vanity and the help was minimal and dismissive. Called today for advice on toilet selection and was put through to someone's voicemail. She never returned my call. Would not recommend them to anyone. I appreciate good customer service and this place doesn't have it. read more

5 stars for General Plumbing Supply and their superb staff! A special shout out to the exceptional Ryan Walsh, who helped my wife and me with ordering a new shower valve, adjustable sprayer setup! From the moment we walked into the showroom, Ryan was so helpful, patient, knowledgeable and guided us through choosing just the right fixtures for our remodel- Ryan even saved us over $300 by swapping out one component and switched brands that perfectly matched and covered the tile hole from previous owner! So skip the big box stores and go see Ryan Walsh and get real value and expertise! Our incredible plumber, Sheldon at Lett's Plumbing actually had to speak to Ryan midway through this remodel, and realized a new valve and faceplate would be needed. Not missing a beat, Ryan ordered us up the perfect part and just a short time later, our dream shower/ spray setup was installed! For their astonishing service, great pricing and quality, we now have a fabulous shower! read more

Was so happy with the service here for our first purchase - a shower head/handle set. Unfortunately the shower head has a design flaw that causes water to drip off the back of the shower head. When I took it in yesterday they wouldn't do anything about it and I was forced to buy a new head full price. I had my receipts but no original box. Very disappointing. read more

Yes, I am a DIYer. Sorry I can't afford a plumber to come out and replace my bathroom or do anything else that needs to be done around my house. I learned how to do it right and I do it myself.. every time I go in here they treat me like crap because I'm not a contractor, but I still wanna spend money at their shop. Too bad for me I guess.. I'm not asking them to tell me how to do it. I'm just asking them to give me good advice on parts because their parts store. read more

Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I had a hand held shower I had put in and had a couple of issues with it. They were a huge help!

Older Lady in sales department wears glasses and has grey hair. She's is extremely rude and has bad attitude. Is not willing to help customers to answer simple questions while not having customers simply because we had someone else helping us already who at the time was not present. Definitely the bad apple of the store. If this was my buissness I would have her around. Least any contractor needs is a grumpy non helpful environment to be in while simply trying to buy things. Definitely not doing business with them again and recommending any partner companies to not do so as well. read more

General Plumbing is a pretty old-school shop with a nice selection of higher-end brands. I had a pretty good experience there. I appreciate the ability to see items in person before buying, and love to support a local business. The showroom has an interesting setup, you have to sign in on a clipboard to get someone to help you. It's packed on weekends so if you can go on a weekday, I recommend that. The first time I went I didn't realize about the clipboard and almost left because I was frustrated at the lack of attention. They should make that more clear up front. Alex Chiok is the salesperson who ultimately helped me and he was very knowledgeable about shower systems. I'm glad I spoke to him because I almost ordered a "retrofit" style shower system online to save money, and it would've looked cheap and didn't make sense when I was building a new shower. Alex helped me select a nice American Standard shower system and it is fabulous in our new shower. The reason I'm taking away 1 Star is this store's return policy is ludicrous. You only have 10 days to return and they charge a restocking fee. Makes me glad that I ordered the one part I needed to exchange on Amazon (General Plumbing was backordered while Amazon had it in stock). I got lucky that I never had to deal with their returns, as I realized the original part I bought wouldn't work more than 10 days after buying the rest of the shower system here (thankfully I had bought that part on Amazon and was able to easily exchange it). read more

I have visited their showroom a few times and the only consistent sense I have is how ignored I feel when I leave. In every single case getting some one off the phone was met with a callous look and a "how dare I interrupt" glare. I'll take the budget somewhere else. read more

This company has to be the worst supplier ever! Our company purchased products from them, ended up with several items that needed to be returned. When they were taken back to WC we were told that we could leave them there but that I would have to go out to my car call the sales person on the invoice to work out the return so they could write a return order!!!!! I asked how was the sales person going to know what I really returned? They told me I could take pictures and send them to the sales person! What a joke! The issues is going to take days to resolve! No customer service will be found here! Avoid this company at all costs! I did get a hold of one of the sales people and he apologized up and down! Very nice man!! But it does not change the fact that their return process is a joke and that is an understatement! read more

This store was recommended to me by Home Depot as I was in search of a bathroom faucet that would work with a 2" countertop. Called in advance to see if they could recommend parts for the Moen faucet I already purchased. Over the phone, they gave me a part number to order, the part they recommended was not correct- didn't work. I called back to see if they had options in their showroom for 2" countertops, the person on the phone said they could help. When I made the trek over in person, they sent me to Travis who immediately said he could not help me and that whoever designed my bathroom did a poor job. I told him that I called in advance and I would leave in search of another store that could help. Only then did he provide service, while grumbling and reluctant (even though I was the only customer in the showroom), and he only showed me one $400 option that he said was in stock. I was desperate since I had been looking at several stores for a few weeks so I bought it. Luckily, Travis was wrong and they didn't have it in stock so I returned it and ended up finding a Delta faucet at a third of the price that worked like a charm. I would not recommend this store mainly due to the poor customer service in the showroom. read more

Jodi is AWESOME!!! She is the "Jeopardy champion" for all info in the plumbing world for sure in my opinion! Very helpful, knowledgeable, super straightforward and honest. this place has a lot of the items you would need on renovations etc. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful!

Had a really simple question on pros/cons for various adapter types for capping copper piping in an area with limited accessibility. counter staff was completely rude, instead of answering my simple question, they repeatedly questioned the premise of my question and acted like I was clueless. Best Yelp advice - when you walk in, find the clipboard and write your name down. The employees call out your name when a sales person is available. A huge thank you to DeDe, who was absolutely amazing - she helped us select a sink and faucet and everything that comes with it. This is the type of service and knowledge you can't get with online shopping. We ended up buying some things now, and taking a list of things for later. There was no sales pressure, and we learned a ton. Based on other reviews, I thought I would be walking into a huge showroom. It was smaller than I expected, but has everything you need packed in tightly. We will be back when it's time to remodel bathrooms! read more

When it comes down to customer vs supplier, this store will always side with the supplier and have you deal with the problems that is caused by them. We were sent 5 (yes I repeat, 5) defective units from Graff, each time having to install/reinstall paying a plumber. This store is just a front for refurbished items from their suppliers, sold as new. It took 4 times the price of the faucet to actually get it installed and work properly. Never rely on these people for your project. read more

During the pandemic, I was pleasantly surprised at how polite and helpful the counter staff was. Pre-pandemic encounters were not great. Well, things have changed. Now the counter men are back to their old rude ways. Today's quote when discussing a bolt for toilet seat was "we're not a hardware store", and I heard background comments along the lines of go to Home Depot. Bottom line they cater to the tradesmen/women and treat retail customers poorly. read more

I can't express my appreciation by words. Went to General plumbing on Saturday at 4:20. The staff specially Mrs.Jodi Held helped me find a solution for my complex plumbing issue with our main water supply. By the time I got back home , I figured the Plumbers did something else wrong and I had to back. Called Jodi and she kindly calmed me down. She waited for extra 10 minutes and hold the shop open on the Saturday evening for me reach there again. Gave me the parts I needed and helped my family having water back on that night. Thank you so much Jodi. People like you gives us hope that angels are still around. Thank you General plumbing supplies for such good service. read more

In mid-June we went to purchase supplies for our master bathroom remodeling. The person that our contractor recommended was not in the showroom and Patty Lipsey offered to help us. We had a list and were clear on what items we needed. Many of the items had to be special ordered and she said it would take about 4 weeks. We said that's ok and paid close to $3,000.00. We didn't order the rest of what we needed that day, because I noticed Patty was losing interest and was flustered and was making mistakes left and right. When we got home I went online and checked all the items (20-23 pieces) and found out that Patty has made a few big mistakes. I sent an email right away and called the next day to correct these mistakes. She never called to let us know if the order was ready even after the 4 weeks was over. I had to call and follow up a few times to check the states of the order. She is very impatient and irritated on the phone. Finally after 6 weeks I went to pick up the order. I noticed there were 2 stickers on one of the boxes, one with my name on the box and underneath with a different name. I opened the box and saw that this was a returned item with finger prints all over it. I asked Patty to place a new order for us since they checked and didn't have another one at shop. By the time I got home I had a message from her that they have found another one and I can go and pick it up anytime and don't have to wait 4 weeks for the special order. Today I went to pick up the piece with my name on it. I opened the box and noticed it was the same one, but they tried to clean up the finger prints and give it to me as a new one. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? How stupid do you think I am? I asked Steve Archuleta (at the will call) to check and see if they have another one, he did and gave me a new one. I have to say Steve Archuleta is one hardworking and honest man, who helped me the other day and today. Not like Patty and the other person who tried to trick me and give back to me the returned and damaged piece which had paid pretty good money for it. Would never go back to this shop again. read more

This is the place contractors go to get good prices and a great selection of top quality items. You as a non contractor can go there as well and also get great prices with top quality items. I have always been helped to my satisfaction. Everything I ordered was perfect. Toto toilets, super high end faucets. Love this place. I don't get the low reviews on here at all. What, you think if you go to Home Depot people are going to wipe your nose better? Home depot sells total garbage and their customer service is random luck. If you want serious stuff that will last forever at great prices go here. If you want someone to cut your vegetables for you while you talk people in circles....well there is really no place for you. Save everyone the drama and order it off Amazon. :) read more
