We were excited to work with them as their tile and vanity selections looked great in the showroom. When we received the tiles it was completely different from what we had selected. The samples we liked in the store didn't match the final delivered product. The color was off and the texture was just a print. Not the sample we had seen. Also, I would be very careful going to Porcelanosa, their quality seems good in the store but when you get the final product at home, it is not that great for the price you pay. The stone-looking tiles have a blur pattern that is fake and stamped on and that is not what we saw on the sample in the store. On bringing this up to the team at PORCELANOSA, they said that their batches can vary in color. This was also not told to us when we went to buy the tiles. We wanted our floor tile to be light and the walls to be darker. We ended up having the floor and the wall tiles look the same. The Vanity also was not constructed well. The doors would not align straight. And the customer service is not very good. Not helpful and pleasant to work with. The return instructions we not clear and the whole process was a very bad experience. And they don't provide pickup of the damaged items. You have to arrange for the large vanity pickup yourself pay their shipping fee or take it back yourself. Upon complaining multiple times they agreed to pick up the defective vanity for us. We found her to be patient, creative, and provided very sound advice on various aspects of tile selection. She took time to answer several calls, emails and make follow up appointments. Jack Kyle was kind enough to receive us without appointment, when we walked in one weekend evening. May be covid is to blame, things you want may not be in stock, but Jack was kind enough to help us with the alternative items that are in stock, and still keeping the original design in mind. My experience with Porcelanosa as a company is the one from a nightmare. I fell in love with the design. Purchased 2 vanities and 2 sinks 3 months before we were ready to install them. Stored the items in boxes in the garage until they were needed. Opened the boxes for the installation - 2 out of 4 items are damaged ( a vanity and a sink). Porcelanosa refused to replace them because of their 30 day return policy. We were offered to buy a replacement set at 50% off. Was not surprised when discovored that the replaced vanity is missing mounting brackets. Called customer service in San Jose with request for replacement, sent photos of what was needed with detailed description -a week later got the wrong part. Called again, was told that the part is coming from Spain - WRONG part sent again. We've been trying to complete our bathrooms projects since July - can't do it because of Porcelanosa. You will not get customer support if you run into a problem. STAY AWAY from PORCELANOSA! read more

We came in about 20-25 minutes before closing to view a few items in the showroom which we've only seen in photos and wanted to finalized our purchase on. There was two people at one of the desks busy chatting to each other, and neither greeted me as I walked in. After minutes of being in there, I still was not asked if I needed any help. My partner came inside to join me. We proceeded looking around. When we asked one of the ladies (one who has really short hair) a question, her answers were rather short and did not seem like she wanted to help us. Still rather lost in this store, we proceeded to walk and browse around. We came back to the lady and asked her a question, and she responded with "I can answer your question but we are closed now, so you have to come back". We couldn't believe the response. Our question was a very simple question - and if anything, the store probably closed a minute or so past. Had we been greeted and helped earlier, then we would have been out the store by then. Instead, she had been sitting around chatting with the other staff member. We had felt so uncomfortable that we held our last questions to the very end. Never had we felt so unwelcome at a store that we drove far to visit. I asked her why she is acting like this, and she said with a rude attitude "I did greet you, but you didn't hear me". We were appalled at this experience - We proceeded to leave. The third staff member did try to intervene and help us with any questions as we left, but by that time we were so upset. She did make things better by insisting to help, and we really do appreciate her trying to turn a negative experience into a positive one. However, back to the short haired lady, we were still terribly disturbed by her rude demeanor. When we asked who the store manager was, we were informed that they did not have one. I really hope this is true, and if in fact the short haired lady is the manager, or being considered to be the manager, careful thought should be given as customers will be driven away by her lack of customer service skills. read more

Every corner you turn you just go WOW. it's great to have this in WC, they got a big parking garage across the street so easy to get to. We purchased tile, a vanity, and a faucet from Kim. Since their warehouse is far from our house, we wanted to pick everything up at the same time to avoid extra trips. Kim insisted we pick things up in two trips or she would give up some of the items that we ordered and paid for to another customer if they weren't picked up. When we were ready to install our faucet, we learned that we were missing a few parts. This not only delayed our remodel, but we now had to worry about the parts being in stock. Our sales person should have informed us that the additional parts would be needed for installation. In addition, we saw scratches on our faucet and because we were forced to pick it up before we needed it, we didn't catch the scratches in time and Merced Acevedo provided the worst client experience we have ever had. Not only did he blame our contractors for scratching the faucet, but he wasn't willing to work with us to offer a replacement. They truly do not value customer service. We love their tile and have spent lots of money with them, but will think twice when we needed to make purchases in the future. read more

I called Porcelanosa to set an appointment, and explained that we're having our bathroom gutted, and want to buy tile for the walls and floor, in addition to a tub and fixtures. I asked on the phone if someone would be willing to talk with us, and help us with our selections because during Covid we would prefer to not visit lots of showrooms. The person on the phone checked with another employee, and assured us that someone would be available to advise us. We drove from Napa, and arrived 2 minutes before our appointment. When we walked in I introduced myself to the person sitting at the desk near the door and told her that we had an appointment. She literally said NOTHING. She gave my husband and me an icy stare, and turned away. We looked around for about 15 minutes, before we gave up and left. Why not just say on the phone that you have NO interest in customers? It certainly would have saved us several hours of driving time. We were wearing masks. We were polite. We plan to start construction this month, and are serious buyers. My husband and I purchased tiles for our bathroom remodel. Kimberly helped us with the order and informed us it would be delivered from their San Jose warehouse by Tuesday. We did not receive the delivery- so we tried to reach out. Phone calls were always sent to voicemail and emails were never answered. When Kim finally got back to us, she said the warehouse had a delay shipment and that our order would deliver next day- Wednesday instead. We had our contractor waiting and we basically paid him the day for nothing. So we cancelled the order. 2 days later, Kim replied that she would process now since she was off the past days. I guess this location only had either Kim or Ludi working.. and Ludi couldn't handle much. They were so nice and helpful when we were in store. Beautiful material and we were hoping to use them for our full home remodel- but not after this encounter. So unresponsive! read more

I get that this company markets itself as very high end, but that is no excuse to have employees who pick and choose who they want to help. It makes customers feel like you're profiling them. I went in last weekend, and there was no one else in the store. The blond lady at the front desk didn't greet us,l and didn't bother to ask if we needed any help. We we there yesterday looking for ideas in a bathroom remodel. My son and I walked and a brunette lady was sitting at her desk. She just stared at us , without a greeting or anything. I turned to her and said "Hello, how are you?", no response. To make my point , I said again," Hello, how are you?" She looked at me and then put her head down pretending to be busy. This is just poor customer service, and yes I think because we were in street clothes, she definitely profiled us. My teenage son cane home and was telling my husband how rude they are. We purchased the 4x8' white tiles to avoid grout lines. When it came time to ship them, just like Lynn T. experienced, we could not get through to the San Jose warehouse and the Walnut Creek showroom was utterly useless. Ultimately, we got the run around for close to two months. Mind you, the tiles were bought and paid for. When we finally got Porcelanosa to do their apparently extremely difficult job, the tiles were not packaged correctly so no shipping company would touch them. And the one shipping company that finally agreed, ended up breaking every single panel. Avoid Porcelanosa at all costs. They love to sell but when it comes time to deliver the product they literally disappear and give you the run around. Be warned! read more

This has been a terrible customer service experience. I purchased tile from Kim during the sale on April 24th. I was told 12 weeks until it arrived, yet the arrival date kept changing on me. A few weeks ago, I was told it would finally arrive the end of July. I just called, now I'm being told it won't be here until September? Five months? I'm sure the manager will say how sorry she is that I experienced this but apparently people have been saying this for MONTHS. On the advice of my architect, I was encouraged to stop into the Walnut Creek store. I am very glad I did! Their product selection is innovative, creative, and well suited for any application. I purchased floor and wall tile for a client (they also sell fixtures and vanities). One very nice feature is that they carry a unique line of tiles in the 4' x 8' feet range and everything in between. Their customer service is outstanding. I received great assistance in selecting my tile. Kim, a sales associate, is terrific. She is great with color and design and made the whole process of ordering very elegant. After I received my delivery she proactively followed up to make sure everything is right. I'll definitely be back in the near future. read more

I walked in the store on Monday at 2:00 pm. No one was at the showroom except two employees. I went in and no one greeted or acknowledged me. The two employees just stared at their computers and ignored me. Even if they are in the middle of something work related, a polite acknowledgement would have been nice. I browsed around and asked some questions at one lady and she gave me a quick response and was rude. I have plans of remodeling three bathrooms at my house and would like to get some ideas on tiles. But no one seemed interested or eager to talk to me. They probably didn't want my business. I left feeling like their issue with me was my race. I do NOT recommend this company at all. If you are looking for service, don't bother coming here. Not worth it! Go somewhere else where they treat and appreciate their customers with top notch service! They are off my list! read more
