From the fried rice to the crawfish! Cajun kitchen is on my top 3 crawfish spots!! Ambiance is good. Margaritas are great! Highly recommend

Good sized crawfish, but it felt like the crawfish itself lacked seasoning. The garlic noodles had good flavor, but the noodles were a tad overcooked. I loved the corn nuggets as well as the fried fish platter. The margaritas here are good as well (and strong).

Crawfish

This place is highly recommended and it didn't disappoint. Viet Cajun crawfish is hands down my favorite and I'm still thinking about the Thai basil from here! Crawfish were perfectly cooked, season, and biggg. We ordered the Thai basil, kitchen special, and Cajun. Kitchen special was yummy but not as saucy and flavorful compared to the Thai basil. Cajun was literally just Cajun seasoning i don't know what I was expecting here. Service was fantastic, servers were constantly making rounds and clearing shells. I will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Never been here before but friends decided that they wanted crawfish! Personally, not the biggest fan of crawfish so I order other things whenever we go to these places! They did say that the crawfish was good tho! I ended up ordering the fried rice, mini eggrolls and some tater tots! Food was good, portions are massive! Can't complain. Service was also good and fast, so I would definitely recommend this place!

This seafood joint is hands down my favorite crawfish place. I enjoy all of their seafood, always fresh and delicious. I've never had a bad experience here. We arrived in a group of 11 on Monday for dinner. We order too many things to list it here's what I recommend; * boiled crawfish kitchen sauce 3.31.25 $9.99 small size, $11.99 large size *tip: buy 6 lbs or more, get $1 off per pound * seafood basket w/cajun fries (fried oyster and catfish) * Cajun French fries!!! * escargot in chili butter * Oysters on half shell Thai Style * Vietnamese style chicken wings * strawberry lemonade * Bread pudding w/ice cream - comes hot and moist! We were seated right away, no wait at 7:45 PM. Service was good, constantly had bowl changes and the staff was accommodating of our requests. I come here whenever I'm craving crawfish and good seafood!

I always have mixed feelings about this restaurant every time I visit. Having lived in Houston for many years, I make it a point to stop by here for crawfish whenever I return from my culinary food tours. I LOVE the crawfish here! The "Kitchen Special" sauce is one of the best creations for serving crawfish--it's a perfect blend of garlic, citrus, and spicy heat that gets me every time. The garlic noodles are also excellent--not greasy at all. However, the Alfredo noodles were disappointing, with a watery taste that I didn't enjoy. Note to self: probably not a great idea to order Alfredo noodles at a Cajun-Asian-inspired restaurant. Overall, though, it's always a great experience! The service is pretty much a hit or miss and most of the time that I have visited it's been a miss. Ambience wise it's a casual restaurant - could be pretty noisy and good for families. I'm always amazed at young children eating crawfish.

Yum!! Oysters were fresh tasting and delicious. I especially enjoyed the Vietnamese style with the oil and scallion. They were also cheap here! Raw $1 between 3-6pm and grilled $1.50. Boudin balls also tasty if you're looking for something else to fill you up

Kitchen Special Crawfish - CRAY CRAY

I used to come here a long time ago religiously during crawfish season, but after a while I took a break and checked out some current beloved crawfish favorites. I still enjoy crawfish here from time to time, and mainly for the kitchen special sauce as it's an awesome blend of citrus and garlic. One thing I will take some points away for is cleanliness off the overall restaurant. Floors and walls are a bit sticky, and yesterday I received two drinks with one of them being in a dirty cup and the other having some stuff floating in the water. When bringing this to the server's attention, drinks were quickly replaced with a smile. I completely understand this stuff happens, no big deal, but I felt it worth mentioning. Crawfish - 4/5 - I recommend crawfish here during peak season. When they can let them large/jumbo is the best time vs when they are smaller. I say this because there have been times where the crawfish has been too overcooked when eating here and it's a pain peeling / eating overcooked crawfish. Kitchen special is the sauce to choose, and they have all the way up to Cray Cray spicy level which is my personal fave. Our crawfish as of yesterday was a mix of jumbo/large - yum! Grilled Oysters - 3.5/5 - I've tried both their Vietnam And Italy style grilled oysters. Both are decent but nothing really worth noting about them. Between the two, I prefer Italy style.

Crawfish house seasoned

Their menu consists of apps (mostly fried), soups and salads, lobster dishes, steaks, vietnamese seafood dishes, shellfish entrees (clams, scallops, etc), an oyster section, stir fry dishes, rice creations, and fried seafood dishes. They serve beer and wine but have some Asian wine-based cocktails. This is truly a fusion restaurant since they have Vietnamese, American, Chinese, Thai, and Peruvian influences on their menu. They have boiled seafood, of course, including crawfish during the season. On every table is also a $12.95 lunch menu with soups, sandwiches and seafood dishes. This may be one of the better deals out there. We tried a few dishes: drunken lobster, surf and turf, crab fried rice, drunken tofu, and shrimp with salted egg. Two additional people in our group came a little later and actually ordered the lunch special (pork chop plate) and chicken wings. Their napkins are a little strange as they're tri-fold style like you would normally see in a restroom. The dishes were pretty good, but I ended up eating mostly noodles since their garlic noodles are pretty addicting. The sirloin that came on the steak dish was supposedly a little tough but that is typical of a basic sirloin steak. I didn't actually get to sample it since other people grabbed it before I could. They only had L and XL size lobster the day we came...so they said their prices were around $90 and $108...I think we selected the $90 size. The drunken lobster dish can be shared between 2 people as it's a big platter but just 1 cut up lobster. The garlic noodles beneath the lobster pieces on the drunken lobster are way better than the noodles beneath the shrimp and steak on the surf and turf since they are stir-fried with lots of onions, jalapeños and what seemed to be small ground pork/beef chunks.

The steak was a little tough.....sliced really thin with 3 shrimp on top. I put a picture on here for reference. It didn't look super tasty but it wasn't too bad. I asked for them to make it spicy, it was spicy and I feel like I'm still on the search for a better garlic noodles. The drunken wings were really good. The truffle fries were good. They also had happy hour when I went happy hour is every day from 5 to 7...even on the weekend. I went on a Saturday Also during happy hour oysters are a dollar I did not get any. The duck look really good. The duck is prepared to order. It takes about 45 minutes. A few orders of that went out. Will probably go back. Customer service was cool. Dennis is the best. Thanks for taking care of me.

It's perfect for family meals or even small celebrations--there's always a lively atmosphere, and it really feels like a traditional dim sum experience. We have our usual lineup every time we come, and it never disappoints: * Steamed shrimp dumplings (har gow) * Steamed pork shu mai and pork/shrimp shu mai * Deep fried shrimp dumplings * Deep fried crab claws * Pan-fried taro and turnip cake * Pan-fried stuffed bell peppers * Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce * Steamed BBQ pork buns * Steamed rice noodle rolls with shrimp Everything comes out fresh, hot, and flavorful. One thing that really stands out is the portion size--the dumplings here are noticeably larger than most other dim sum spots in the area, which makes it feel like you're getting great value. We usually pair everything with a pot of jasmine tea, and sometimes add a few Vietnamese iced coffees, which hit the spot perfectly with all the savory dishes. Overall, it's always a treat whenever we're able to stop by for lunch. Great food, generous portions, and a perfect place to gather with family--highly recommend if you're craving dim sum in Houston.

When I arrived there was nobody dining in the restaurant, that was a bit worrying, but I figured it was a bit early for the dinner crowd and late for the lunch crowd. Food & Drink - 4.5* First up was the noodles, I enjoyed them, but I wouldn't say the hype I'd heard about from some others was there. They had nice flavor, but there just wasn't anything "special." 3.5* Then it was on to the crawfish, and my oh my. Superb, the flavor is delicious and unique. This more than made up for the noodles dish. The potato and corn was good too. Service - 5* Solid. When I first arrived the owner was quietly reading a newspaper and eating his own lunch. He paused to greet me and advised that I could sit anywhere. He provided water and adequate time to determine what I wanted to order. The food came out quickly and he checked in a few times to make sure everything was ok. As time went by, the crowd of folks showing up increased quite a bit and he still managed to check in on tables consistently. Pricing - 4* This is where it was odd. Always subjective but I found the noodles to be overpriced for not only the size but what I felt was a pretty simple dish. The crawfish on the other hand was priced very competitively and made up for the overpriced noodles. I provided pics of the menu for someone to make their own assessment but in general I thought many of the dishes were pricier than they probably should be. I know inflation is certainly killing many businesses and consumers but even these felt a bit off. Overall - 4.5* This is definitely going to be one of my go tos for crawfish when in the area. The flavor is fantastic, the pricing is good, the size of them were solid. There are a couple of other dishes I may try on the next visit. The restaurant is clean, the owner is very nice, and it's a nice low key space to just enjoy a good meal with friends or family.

The salt and pepper shrimp was my favorite dish of the night, though even that fell a bit short because it wasn't very crispy or particularly flavorful, and I wished it had more spice. The noodles, which were supposed to be soft, were actually quite hard and chewy. The fried rice lacked fragrance and depth of flavor. The oriental beef was overly tough, and the Kung Pao chicken didn't resemble the dish at other places as it came with corn and assorted vegetables but had very little flavor overall.
