Probably worst caffe been in USA. Online order took an hour and a half for food that is made already long time ago. Ordered 6 different items. What should have been a 45 min delivery was 1.5 hours and still hasn't arrived This is the second time I ordered and it was the same thing last time as well. If you are looking for good coffee don't even bother, it's not worth it for the price mine as well go to Starbucks and get good coffee. This place is either hit or miss. Whats with the little Indian girl like running the place half the time? I know child labor laws are different when its family, but what the hell shes like teaching the other employees who are three times her age. I went to this store once to buy some breakfast for me and my mother. Like most places, I take a picture of the menu and send it to my mother so she can tell me what she wants, and I order the food for both of us. You can ask them to warm it up for you. Overall, they have made available a variety of delicious new items that you must go try! I love this place! It's a great place to come and get some work done or catch up with friends. They have such a wide variety of different foods ranging from their delicious waffles to their savory sandwiches. They also have really good coffee. I love their chai tea and caramel lattes! They have a seasonal menu and right now, the s'mores hot chocolate hits the spot! Excellent "new age" coffee shop venue that attracts clientele of all ages, backgrounds, from high schoolers to seniors. The coffee and beverages are superb as is the food and snacks. The layout consists of individual seats and tables, seating up to 44 with views of 37th Ave at 81st St...lots of pedestrian traffic. They also have free wifi and power outlets. On occasions I have observed ad hoc meetings among small groups which enhance the general atmosphere. The bathroom is clean and well maintained, too. The staff is friendly and pleasant. I love and appreciate how this cafe differs from the other stores. These owners have taken caffe Bene to a whole other level. The decor is beautiful. The environment is friendly and the employees are refreshing. They smile , they joke with customers and give honest feedback about the merchandise they are selling. They explain how things are made and they do their best to ensure the customer's always satisfied. Sure there will be slow days but you cannot rush perfection... Right? If you want a "hot sandwich" be mindful that they have to prepare it and make sure they aren't giving you an undercooked meal. I love the almond croissants! I also noticed they started carrying blueberry bagels. (I've never tried it) but I definitely intend on doing so. They'll get better over time. Starbucks is no competition to them. read more

It says a lot about the age and freshness of their baked goods. I think some of the reviewers here have been quite generous. As a local resident of this neighborhood, I was looking forward to the opening of a caffebene but sadly, it has disappointed me with their mediocre, overpriced food. Most importantly, the quality of their coffee is not as great. I brought my relative here to claim the free coffee coupon and honestly, it pales in comparison to McDonald's coffee. Although I enjoy the nice environment and the availability of outlets, I think it could've been better. I hope they continue to improve their quality of food and their coffee. read more

A great place to find healthy food options! The atmosphere here are always very pleasant. The service here is also fairly instant and the staff courteous.
