they have happy hour till 6: your second round is free! can be of anything, doesn't need to be the same drink you ordered which is GREAT. however HH for drinks only is only at the bar or outside but they have heaters out and we were toasty - totally coming back! the passionfruit marg was just okay, nothing crazy, but they have a nice wine selection. they made our drinks fast.

Espresso Martini w/ cream

As I shopped in Soho, my partner found this spot for us to take a break from all the walking boy did he find a good one! as I was walking, I asked for suggestions from a friend that used to live in the area and they also suggested this place right off the bat. He ordered an espresso martini to begin, but mention how it was so strong when I arrived, I also ordered an espresso martini but added cream, and it was absolutely delicious and exactly what I needed to continue the day. I can't wait to come back and enjoy the other offerings. The food looked delicious. Also the barista or bartender was very nice, friendly and knew what to do behind the bar!

Were passing by the bustling outdoor seating area at the front of the restaurant, so we took a seat to observe the passerby's and enjoy the last warm evening of the season. Indoor seating was very dark and cramped. Chill vibe, modern pop hits played in the background. Outdoor seating was also super tight--we literally participated in conversations of couples sitting right next to us. NYC and space constraints--gota make the most out of limited sidewalk area right by the restaurant. This is not a place for good food. Everything is mediocre and overpriced. This is a good spot for drinks--$16 gusano [mezscal, honey, spiced salt] hit the spot and was a perfect blend of flavors that would revive any drained pilgrim. The best thing we ate were $22 half a dozen oysters, which were fresh. $18 escargot was the worst--utterly bland and tasteless. A child can make better escargot with eyes closed--just pour the snails from a can into a dish, cover with oil, add salt. Salting this helped to salvage this sad excuse of a dish. $16 catalan shrimp was okay. Buttery, fatty white wine sauce had decent flavor. Most of the dish consisted of potatas bravas and toasted sourdough [only 5 shrimp in the portion]. $17 fluke & tiger shrimp ceviche was nothing to write about. Your typical, forgettable ceviche, that had more filler than seafood. Service was standard. You can find better spots with tastier food, more space, and cooler ambiance. Not a place I'd return to.

Perfect late night French Swiss spot. showed up around 10pm and the kitchen was still open with no rush to close. The raclette was served with 4 slices of toast. It was melted to a plate when it reached the tables with about 4 mini potato pieces and 3 cornishons. This went well with the dry cider. We also ordered zucchini chips with came with three dips including hummus. The seasonal soup was a large portion. The food is excellent for the hour and price.

sangria, cheese plate, espresso martini

This is the exact spot you want to pop into after shopping in soho/nolita. Around 4/5 pm on a weekday, it was relatively quiet but provided excellent people-watching. We got cocktails (espresso martini, sangria) and a cheese plate, which provided quite a hefty serving and selection. The prices are pretty much what you'd expect from the neighborhood, the decor is quaint, and the staff is friendly. I don't know if I would go out of my way for this spot, but it'll definitely be a go-to when I'm in the area :)

This place SUCKS! This is proof of what a Sh1tty manager can do. The Hostess has a Horrible attitude, arrogant and prepotent... like she's royalty and her word is the law... All tables are reserved except the one she assigns. Then they will not allow any changes, even if it is NOT having bacon on your salad WTF??? They look at you as if they were giving you the $25 dollar sandwich for free and you can't ask anything. Bad management kills restaurants They should be ALL about service... But they are certainly not... The food is actually not bad

We got the Banter Bowl, which includes pickled carrot, cabbage, watermelon radish, cucumber, edamame, avocado, quinoa, and miso ponzu dressing. You have a choice of meats, so we chose the grilled chicken. Second, we ordered the falafel bowl that includes three falafels, pickled onions, avocado, cucumber, whipped garlic feta, kale salad, romesco, and Za'atar dressing that had a delicious flavor. However, our ultimate favorite had to be the Thai Crunch Wrap with sweet potato fries. It was fairly busy, and our drinks took a while to come, but the food arrived shortly after. The next time I'm back, I will be sure to reorder the Thai crunch wrap. If you have food allergies, they are extremely accommodating and have numerous vegan/vegetarian/GF.

Booths were available just beyond table and chair seating. Love the wood and leather finishes and soft lighting choices that create a subdued atmosphere even mid-day. I was given a lunch/dinner menu and a Lunch Special prix fixe that offered an appetizer and entree for $25. The spicy carrot hummus was recommended and didn't disappoint as well as the grilled chicken sandwich w/ bbq sauce on a buttered pretzel bun. Everything was fresh and excellent and I would order it all again. Noticed the happy hour at the bar is a pretty sweet deal as well with $8 wine, $6 beer, and $10 bites. Nice to have a spot that can be revisited multiple times for a great deal!

The breakfast items that I ordered were fast to make, with good service. I was able to get the omelette without the ham. The vegetarian omelette was thick and fluffy, with a good amount of sliced portobello mushrooms and spinach. It came with a side of market salad (leafy greens, cherry tomatoes, carrot, radish, cucumber), making it a great low-carb & high-protein breakfast option. The fruits platter was also excellent - came with a good amount of various sliced fruits (cantaloupe, honeydew, orange, kiwi, pineapple, strawberries, blueberries) that were all very fresh. The milk, however tasted thick and a bit bitter. Not sure if they gave me homogenized milk (3.25%) or the milk was starting to turn bad. Unfortunately I couldn't drink it.

Think vintage wallpaper, little knick-knacks, and warm lighting. It's got character. I ordered the market salad with mixed greens, honeycrisp apples, goat cheese, candied pecans, and sherry vinaigrette. It was a hearty portion - super fresh and flavorful, and honestly more than I could finish (not a complaint!). I also ordered a Diet Pepsi with grenadine; they don't carry Diet Coke, which I almost docked a point for, but the mix was unexpectedly delicious. Highly recommend it. My date ordered the hanger steak and said it was absolutely amazing. Only hiccup: his first glass of wine he got came out hot... like, microwave-level warm. Fortunately, the server brought a new (cold) one and the rest of the meal was smooth sailing. Service was friendly, the vibe was homey and relaxed, and the food was solid across the board. Would definitely come back, especially for that salad and another round of grenadine magic.

We were looking for a place not to far from our hotel to have a couple drinks before we met up…read morefriends and we found this place. The inside looked really nice with some nice pictures on the wall and lots of space for seating. They also have a downstairs that has a bar and plenty of seating. We just ordered a few Aperol Spritz and chilled at the bar. The drinks tasted really good. Hard to mess that up but you never know. They had music playing from something in the background which was really good. The bartenders were alway asking if we needed anything so that was good. We didn't order any food but the plates that we saw looked really good. Definitely a place you need to check out if your looking for a cool spot to drink and get some bites to eat. They also have a good happy hour and from the looks of it a nice brunch with bottomless mimosas. Have to come check out this place if your in town or live near the area.

In my rarely treading over to the…read moreeast side these days and wanting to avoid Grand Central I searched a little through google maps what was nearby Murray Bro Hill/Kips Bay area and this spot popped up and I remembered wanting to check out their brunch but never did. It's $25 for unlimited drinks plus food by the way. Which is sad is a deal these days. Anyway, their happy hour is solid enough for a Monday and was meeting up with a friend I hadn't seen in over a year. Place is actually very cute. There are no tvs which I appreciate and the paneling of the walls and decor with all the flowers is quite tasteful. Happy hour deals 4-7pm Mon-Fri & all night Thursday apparently: Aperol Spritz $8, Hugo Spritz $9, Paloma $10, Mules $9, Draft Beers (except Guinness) $7, House Wine $9. As well as 2 Appetizer Bites for $19.95. Not the best but not the worst. I'm normally not a Spritz kind of gal. I think watering down prosecco or wine is heinous. But it was a Monday and I didn't exactly feel like powering down into happy hour so Aperol Spritz it was which switched to a Modelo later. It was the perfect drink situation on a god awful hot as hell day. We also ordered the fish tacos and what initially were the curry fries but they brought out the Greek fries. I wasn't mad about it. Honestly was torn between the two and I don't send food back unless something really bad happened. But it was essentially a side of Caesar salad dressing with feta cheese and generous amount of herbs on a very sparse and frugal amount of crispy standard cut fries. Now I know why it's a 2 for $20 deal. The tacos were 3 in an order which I guess is typical. They weren't bad but nothing stood out to me. I'd come for the drinks or try something else on the menu.

This one absolutely was. Tender, succulent, slightly spiced pastrami. Right amount of Swiss & kraut. The Russian dressing was wonderful. Some nice mustard here & there. Every bite was savored. Just me. I dined alone, which was my plot all along. I gladly paid $52.85 on a 20% tip. Clean & straight forward service. No bougie pretentiousness. Pride in craft.
