Made a reservation same day for around 7:45pm, for three. We got there early and were happy to be seated promptly. The main dining area was a bit awkward with the table we were seated at having really just one way in or out. The lighting here was dim....so dim we needed to use our phone flash lights to see the menu. The service left little to be desired. We waited about 15 minutes to even be recognized by our server and didn't have much attention after that. Someone else brought our drinks and meals and we ended up flagging them down to get the check. Food was great, started with the Deviled Eggs, delicious...had the Sauteed Mushrooms...wonderful....French Macaroni and cheese...best we've ever had...EVER, this would have me go back to at least get takeout. Bourguignon sliders...tasty with 2 to an order and the crudites with goat cheese dip...delicious as well. While the service wasn't ideal, the best part was the wallpaper...very risky and when going to the restroom there is a QR code to download an app that made it interactive. lol Something new for sure. All three of us stood there and reviewed the multiple scenes to see what happened, great way to end the evening there.

Radishes and butter
Chris D.

Some really great parts, some not so good. Starting with the good: the salmon was perfectly cooked, so tasty. The rose wine was lovely. The radishes and butter were a nice snack. The not so good: the potato dauphinois was cold in the middle (although to their credit they did take this off the bill), the staff (while lovely) were busy and hard to get hold of. The leeks with the salmon were hard. My partner had the sliders and said they were just ok. To end on a high note, the live music was great!

Bacon egg and cheese

Ambiance and vibe were fantastic- especially out on the patio. The shakshouka was good, I recommend it - I felt like it needed some spice though. My boyfriend thought the bacon egg and cheese was dry and a bit overpriced. Fries were good! Service was a little slow, but then again it was a busy Saturday. Cute little brunch spot!

10/10 classy and romantic vibes with delicious food and great service. We made a reservation the day before for a Saturday night. The restaurant is dimly lit with a classy and romantic atmosphere. There are seatings for small parties in the front and more room in the back part of the restaurant. The menu was quite small for food but I liked the food selection. We opted to share 27 oz steak (which come with fries) and crudités with goat cheese dip. The steak was a 4.5/5 - super delicious and perfectly medium rare. The fries that came with it was also excellent. The crudités was a 2.5/5 - they came out a bit too cold. But once they reached room temperature they were better. It's like an elevated veggie platter. Overall, a great place for delicious food and great vibes.

Pros Perfect outside seating for people watching Strong cocktails Great happy hour Sexy restaurant Upscale crowded Cons Little vegetarian options Host can be rude with requesting for guests to leave $$$ Little options for sides

Wonderful spot for brunch or dinner. Live music several nights of the week. Highly recommend for a date night, great ambience and food!

Beef tartare

This spot's only positives were its decor, warm hospitality, attentive service, and drinks. We ordered the mixed board and beef tartare to start before diving into our bone in rib-eye and sautéed mushrooms. Mixed board - it was a decent selection for its price consisting of 3 meats and 3 cheeses. The ham felt underwhelming, similar to what I'd buy at a deli and the liver mousse felt bland - I've had better elsewhere. Beef tartare - it felt too chunky and the olive oil w pomegranate seeds pour on top made it taste too tart in the end. Steak - at $4.50 per oz, their smallest size was 25 oz so that's what we ordered at medium rare. It was a very fatty steak and came out more on the medium side. The garlic confit on the side was a little under as it wasn't easily squeezing out of the clove. The steak felt overly salted, as well as the sautéed mushrooms. While I enjoy my food well seasoned, there should be a balance in every bite and that's what was missing.

Marylou in New York is a fantastic spot with a lively crowd, great vibes, and excellent music. We enjoyed our drinks, which added to the vibrant atmosphere, making it perfect for a night out in the city. We enjoyed our time with friends in here.

Unfortunately I got extremely sick after eating here. Wanted to like it because the vibe is cute. Had the salmon tartar, beef tartar and mussels so maybe I was gambling to begin with. They also pour a ton of olive oil over the beef tartar. I appreciate the attempt at something different and fun but it is a far stray from normal beef tartar. Flavors weren't amazing and almost 24 hrs later I was still very unwell.

Wine. French onion soup.

My friend and I came here this past weekend and had a wonderful time. I haven't able to stop talking about this place to my friends, I highly recommend making time to try it out. We sat outside and it was so lovely, the inside had a great vibe as well! From the french onion soup, salmon tar tar, to the sliders everything was delicious and well made. We ended up spending about 3 hours eating and drinking just enjoying ourselves. The Agave Delight under night caps was such a wonderful surprise and was recommended by the owner, we were lucky enough to to run into him and hear more about the place. The servers were kind and attentive nothing bad to say about them! Check this spot out!

3/10 such a bummer because this place is so cute, the lighting is great, the decor is cozy, the vibes are good. The service was okay. The restaurant was surprisingly not very busy for a Saturday Night but now I know why. The food was just ... not good. The green beans were the best thing we had and that's saying something. We ordered the Mac and cheese and it came out cold, the sliders were soggy, and the fries were droopy, not even a little bit crisp. Marylou has so much potential but I think they really need to rework their menu and hire a new chef. At least we know where to get a drink if we don't want to go somewhere crowded

Super cute spot, great drinks, cute and fun food options. The ambiance is romantic, great for a date spot a bit earlier in the night, or to later to get the drinks flowing. They have live music on some weekdays! For food, everything was done very well, if you're into French food this is a hit!

Vidhi P.

Ambiance is great service was terrible. Forgot both drink and food orders and our party had to wait. And we were the only ones there for Saturday brunch! Over priced and mediocre food. If you want great cafe go to the coffee roaster across the street! See coffee menu in the pic!

Nice wine selection

Cocktails are made with various types of rum and ingredients like grapefruit, maraschino, wormwood amaro, falernum, thyme, Assam tea, spiced lime, allspice, coconut, cucumber, nutmeg, sour orange. All the drinks keep with the tropical, fruity taste with a hint of spice. They are also broken up into categories (dry land = no alcohol, shallows = average amount of alcohol, and abyss (larger amounts of alcohol). The abyss section has some cocktails that are limited to two per customer. They have some bar bites like fried green tomatoes, shrimp toast, broiled oysters, ricotta, dumplings, sliders. I had the French fries with kimchi ranch, which were underwhelming. Bartenders were cool and kept the drinks coming. I got in immediately without an issue or a wait, but it was right after a snowstorm. I've seen some people struggle to get in or have a long wait.

As for food, there were some true hits but most of the food was good but basic. The highlights for me were the wild mushrooms & rice cakes as well as the Caesar salad - loved the use of nori in the salad and would definitely come back for the mushrooms. The chicken cutlet and chicken dumplings were fine but I probably wouldn't order them again. The wait staff weren't super attentive nor super warm, but they were efficient when we asked for water refills, etc. There was ample standing room at the bar while we waited for our friends, but the table/booth that we sat at was super narrow, I was knocking knees with my friend all night and generally felt squished.

Attaboy absolutely lives up to the hype…read more From the moment we sat down, we knew we were in for something special. Our bartender, Zack, was phenomenal. Calling him a bartender almost feels like an understatement--he's a true cocktail craftsman. I was amazed watching him create drinks based simply on a few words or flavors we mentioned. It felt less like ordering a cocktail and more like collaborating on one. Of course, he also nailed the classics. The Clover Club and Gimlet were both perfectly executed, and my husband tried three different whiskey cocktails throughout the evening and loved every single one. The atmosphere is exactly what you hope for from a speakeasy: dark, intimate, and unassuming. The space is small, which adds to the experience, although the bar stools are definitely not designed for settling in for a three-hour hang (my only minor complaint). But honestly, that probably helps keep the experience moving and allows more people to enjoy this special spot. Attaboy is a great example of why NYC has such a legendary cocktail scene. The drinks, the craftsmanship, and the personal attention make it clear why this place gets so much attention. We'll absolutely be back.
