Outdoor seating - The image shows an outdoor seating area with several black tables and chairs, shaded by orange umbrellas, situated in front of a modern blue building with large glass windows. The building has the number 231 displayed on its exterior and features a glass entrance door. The patio is on a concrete surface with a drain grate visible in the foreground, and a trash can is positioned near the entrance.

Five stars for being new, clean, and well-staffed! Found another new place not yet on Yelp! Conveniently located next to the Fort Lee post office, this location was busy during what was likely their soft opening. There were lots of folks both inside and out on a Monday afternoon! All people in the photos were deleted by Google Magic Eraser to protect their privacy! As with another review I recently wrote for another new venue, I didn't patronize the place as coffee shops aren't typically my deal. Someone please check them out and write a review!

Turkey & Brie Panini - A photograph of a turkey and brie panini sandwich, cut in half, revealing layers of sliced turkey, brie cheese, lettuce, and tomato between toasted bread slices. The sandwich is wrapped in white paper and held in hand, with a dark, slightly blurred background. The bread appears toasted, and the ingredients are neatly layered, showcasing the sandwich's fresh and appetizing appearance.

I came previously for drinks and got an Iced Honey Vanilla latte which was amazing so I knew I had to come back to try the food. I got the TSB (The Select Burrito) and the Turkey & Brie panini and they were both so good!! Would highly recommend to check out this new go-to spot in Fort Lee. The people are super friendly and welcoming and I loved the music for ambience.

Caramel macchiato w vanilla cold foam - A hand is holding a plastic cup filled with a caramel macchiato topped with vanilla cold foam. The background shows a refrigerator stocked with various canned and bottled beverages, and outside the cafe, there are tables, chairs, and a red umbrella. The scene is set inside a cafe with outdoor seating visible through the window.

Came here for a coffee, left with coffee and a smile on my face, my drink was so yummy, and the tables outside are so cute!

Our crew of friends and family decided to host a holiday dinner party here and it was absolutely…read moreawesome. The location is amazing and chic from the moment you walk in. Usually BYOB spots struggle to create the right ambiance, but this place has something special going on. We may have had a bit too much fun because we literally closed the place down with the staff. The food was outstanding. I highly recommend ordering a few appetizers and sharing them at the table because that is what we did and everything was deliciously decadent. The burrata was packed with flavor and the basil foam was impressive. The octopus with potatoes hit perfectly. I already know I need to go back for the crab empanadas and the short rib croquettes soon. For our mains, my wife and I shared the short rib yucca gnocchi and the lobster and ricotta ravioli. Amazingly tasty across the board. This place delivered from start to finish and we will definitely be returning.

Went in hopes of a good experience but left underwhelmed by it all. Apart from the table seating…read morethe entire experience wasn't the best. We were left ignored for over 20 minutes after seating. Finally when the waiter arrived for a drink order we had asked for a coffee to start. That didn't arrive until almost another 25 minutes and were told the bar area was busy. The food itself wasn't amazing or memorable. Ordered the cauliflower app- the sauce was too watery and didn't coat or stick to the cauliflower. If it was thickened it would glaze the cauliflower and you could actually appreciate how good it was and the dish would be so much better. For the mains we ordered the salmon burger and lemon ricotta pancakes. Both were ok but nothing amazing. The worst part was the speakers playing a happy birthday song that was extremely loud that even 2 other tables looked confused and disturbed by it. It played for well over a few minutes. I can appreciate a party being celebrated but not at the expense of the patrons in the restaurant. Also just a heads up- they add a 2.5% service charge to the bill. Only noticed this because the table seated next to us shared this and were upset by it.

I have driven throughout Edgewater for years and have not seen Madison Café and Grill. Thanks to…read moreYelp, my curiosity was piqued and I'm so glad that I visited. The restaurant has an interesting history. Even though the original opened in Cresskill, NJ, it unfortunately has permanently closed. However, not only is the Edgewater location amazing, but it had the guts to open during COVID (2022), survived, and is succeeding. The restaurant is beautiful inside and outside. Their decorations are tasteful, the presentation of the food is award winning, and the service is stellar. I started with a Mocha Cappuccino and it was so good. Served in a large mug, an airy/creamy top, and had the perfect amount of mocha happiness throughout. Before the meal even started, we were graciously given Za'atar (a popular Middle Eastern spice blend with an earthy, tangy, and nutty flavor, toasted sesame seeds, and sumac, with salt). It was crunchy, drizzled with oil, and I enjoyed how each thin pita bite made the spices explode all over the table. The entrees were: Strawberry French Toast. The next was the Falafel Platter (chickpeas and fava bean balls, served with tahini sauce, pickles, turnips, tomato, and mint). The last selection was the Avocado Toast (Citrus cured salmon over multigrain bread, tomatoes, onions, capers & citrus vinaigrette). Not only were all of these dishes beautifully presented, but all were filling, as well. My Avocado Toast kept me full for the rest of the day and the salmon was enjoyably salty, thin, and delicious. I noticed a dessert in their display case and ordered it. The dessert was the Riz Bil Ashta (Lebanese rice cream, infused with orange blossom water, blended with milk and cheese, and topped with crushed pistachios). This dessert tasted like a regal custard and the pistachios added an enjoyable texture that makes it recommended. Of course, I had to cap the meal with a Mocchiato. This amazing beverage followed the rest of the meal..... delicious, eyes closed good, and every sip was full-flavored. Thank you, Madison Café and Grill, for presenting a memorable meal and I wish you continued success.

While meandering around our local neighborhood, my husband and I stumbled upon this tiny diner and…read moregave it a try. We're so glad we did, because this hole in the wall turned out to be a diamond in the rough. With a nondescript exterior and limited signage, Foodies Diner is easy to miss. It's in an area with mainly houses and mixed use commercial buildings, but the space inside is cozy. I especially appreciated the way the owner greeted everyone who enters and thanked everyone who leaves with notable warmth and small-town friendliness. The menu reads like a true diner - with all-day breakfast and brunch options, as well as standard lunch fare. We ordered a Santa Fe salad and an L.A. burger - which comes with avocado, bacon, onion, lettuce, and tomatoes. The burger was pretty standard, but having it delivered on a warm brioche bun feels a little bit special. The accompanying fries were also great - crisp and potatoey on the inside. The salad, on the other hand, was a near triumph. Served on a large platter, there was a small field of well-seasoned chicken, shredded cheddar, vegetables, avocado, pico de gallo, and - best yet - some pieces of warm, toasted pita. I even sprinkled some pieces of bacon from my burger into this salad, and wow did that take it over the top. I dug into this salad with fair gusto and would absolutely come back for it...which is saying something, since I wouldn't expect to fall in love with a salad at a diner. Service was fantastic, and we were pleased with how reasonably priced our meal turned out to be. There's plenty of parking - either right out front or in the lot further back.
