Large pizza. Bueno!!
Greg G.

Food was surprisingly first rate! Aloha I had the big wailea burger, such a fine large patty. On its own was a nice big grill burg with good smoke flavor. Topped with fresh island lettuce tomato I added mayo to the steam bun. Grilled onion & mushroom went on top. Was there cheese I don't remember but it was a big meal to go which I ate on the table area out there. Really a good burg from what I was kind of expecting at the grab & go type place. Did the poke ahi & crab bowl one day for lunch and it was nice & fresh. Good flavor, spicy! As good as any foodland. I was flabbergasted again for the hotel cafe great quality. Finally u know I had daily dining credits to use up and I said what the hell and got the big pepperoni pizza! Well it was great. Nice doughy crust. Great pie. Better than back home. I put the rest in the fridge & had pizza for lunch and late night snacks. After the sun goes down I don't make it too long but hey it's Maui. They bang out good food at cafe Kula and with the dining credits it was free. Thanks girls and chef it was great food!! 5 stars.

This is a review about their breakfast offerings. I have nearly every breakfast item over the years and have enjoyed all of them. The frittata is great. It is the perfect amount of food to get the day started. It is big enough to fill you up and not weigh you down. This morning I had the breakfast bowl. It has two eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, avocado, a beautiful chimchurri and a whole lot of kale. I mean a lot of kale. I devoured my bowl. All the roughage really filled me up for a long time.

Currently closed for construction and in a temporary facility. Not bad for the limited menu. Coffee is good and open late. The breakfast sandwiches are premade and ready to go. Nice for a quick breakfast option; they also have a pastry cabinet which are pretty good as well. Got the ham breakfast sandwich, not a huge fan of ham but it wasn't bad. Really big, lots of ham. Everything is pricy but it fits with the hotel. The nutty Hawaiian latte is delish, basically a desert.

The steak Sandwhich was amazing. The prices here are reasonable and the food is pretty tasty. I wasn't a fan of the mozzarella and tomato panini but damn the steak Sandwhich was awesome.

Most expensive cafe I have ever been to. It is located in the Grand Wailea and you might as well go to one of the high end places because it is not much different in price. I ordered the wailea burger and it was as average as I have had. The ahi poke bowl was ok but its hawaii so you can it anywhere. They have some local hot sauces that you can take in little to go cups for your meal. They didnt stand out to me to be honest. Nothing special. The good thing is you can get food pretty quick. They also have alcohol by the bottle and beer you can buy in here. There are also other snacks and treats if you would like. If you need some snacks come get a bag of chips but if you want dinner be ready to spend like it is a night out.

Take out service only but tables available outside. The acai bowl was very icy and not very flavorful. Disappointing since it was pricey.

It's located in the Grand Wailea Resort, so expect it to be expensive even though it's a cafe. A casual place for a quick lunch with outdoor seating and a fantastic view. I ordered the Kalua Pork plate, which was shredded pork with a side of rice and macaroni salad. At $15 a plate, the pork wasn't flavorful or anything to remember. My friend ordered chicken katsu sandwich and she said it tasted like fish. I think the only thing someone liked in our group was the cheeseburger.

We had this for breakfast and dinner. So, for breakfast I was told they had changed the menu - they use to have the more bigger variety of breakfast, but it was holding up the kitchen. So, I had the turkey wrap - which I loved. We had fruits - yum! My sons had the ham and cheese - good. My stepmom had the parfait and it was good balance of yogurt and granola. Dad had the açaí and that was huge. The sausage biscuit was delicious for me. But my sister is special needs, and is use to a certain kind that this was too spiced for her liking. I ate it anyway. For dinner, on our last day we chose to eat here. We got a poke bowl, margherita pizza and Wailea burgers. Dad mopped his poke bowl, he said it was delicious. Margherita pizza was delicious! And me just tell you, the Wailea burger was amazing. The burger was juicyyyyy. Perfectly. I gave Cafe Kula a 4 because their menu ain't much. But service was great and food was amazing.

Came here multiple times while we were staying at the hotel. Cook to order food was great. Do not get frittata...not great. We had a burger, ahi poke bowl, pizza, and breakfast croissant. I loved their ahi poke bowl, so I had twice! Th staff is very friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I may be the most reasonable option if you want to eat on a property. Open 5am.

Got the quinoa salad and it was very tasty but barely had anything in it. Also got the kale salad which was the same deal. The chicken Caesar wrap was fresh and tasty. The gelato looks good, but flavors are limited. The pulled pork sandwich was very juicy and came with chips. The bread and the slaw was very fresh! Also got the bacon donut which was good. The açaí bowl was not taht good it was all granola and it was all icy with a small amount of fruit on it. It was a decent size but was not filling.

Avocado toast-get it!!!!!

This is the best avocado toast I have ever had in my life! The lemon oil is a nice touch! Will be getting it every day this vacation lol

At first look, we wasn't to excited. But, we took a chance. Gotta admit, the prices was a bit much. But, I was impressed. The poke bowl was worth it. The pizza was great to me, pepperoni/mushroom. It lasted the weekend in our room, I didn't have to starve during midnight hungers. Had one more slice, was little sad that I had to trash it... The burger was huge and meaty and perfectly cooked... Ohhh, the banana cream pie, was ono, with thick cookie crust. Wish had some real banana pieces in it though. It hit the dessert spot...

The service is terrible and even the basic Cafe Latte was terrible. Hardly taste like coffee.

Insanely overpriced. Go to Safeway before you stay here or you're paying $20 for mediocre breakfast sandwiches and $3 for a banana.

My husband and I had an incredible dining experience here during our stay at Hotel Wailea. He made…read morea reservation for dinner, and we opted for the course menu, which was beautifully paced and delicious. The dessert was easily the best part! I enjoyed both of the dessert options we tried. They were the perfect end to the meal. What really touched me was the staff's attention to detail. They remembered it was our babymoon and took the time to congratulate us, which made the evening feel even more personal and special! We had a stunning view of the water, and watching the sunset from our table was gorgeous! It is easily one of the best spots on the island for a romantic evening! We enjoyed the atmosphere so much that we returned the next morningfor breakfast. The omelette was prepared perfectly. It was served with a tropical frit mix that I enjoyed a lot! I had the best papaya I have ever tried! From start to finish, the service was top notch! The entire time made sure we were well taken care of!

4.5/5 stars We came…read morehere to celebrate our anniversary, and it was such a pleasant experience. This restaurant is located inside the Hotel Wailea. There is free guest parking, so that was nice. We ate outside, so the ambiance and lighting was nice and romantic. Service was attentive. For our anniversary, they gave us a complimentary bite that included caviar, and they decorated our dessert with the words "Happy Anniversary," so these were nice touches that made us feel special. The meal was a $150 per person for a 3 course dinner. For my starter, I got the hamachi crudo, which was perfection! The fish pieces were so large, fresh, and soft, and the mango relish inside added a great flavor. The star fruit on top made the dish so pretty, and it was so tasty! I tried my fiancé's scallop, which was cooked perfectly. Bread was included in the meal, and it was warm and soft and came with this lavender butter, which was tasty, although the salt was too concentrated in the butter in some sections For the entrees, I got the poached lobster, and my fiancé got the grilled kanpachi. The lobster was tender, and it also came with mussels, shrimp, and veggies. The dish was flavorful, but small. I tried my fiancé's kanpachi, which was solid but was too salty and not as tender as I prefer. For dessert, I tried the poni cheesecake. This dessert was just average in my opinion because the cheesecake lacked flavor (didn't taste like cheesecake or ube). The crust also had a coconut taste, which I didn't prefer. The texture of the cheesecake was light and satisfying. Overall, would give this place 4/5 stars, but increased to 4.5 due to the special touches for our anniversary.

It was sunny at first so I had to wear shades while eating and it was a really hot since it's outdoor seating but then everything got better once the sun is setting down. The food was really good, and the size was decent. I ordered the Thai curry, the pork chop, the bao bun (by accident since the server misheard what I wanted), the chocolate soufflé and a couple cocktails drink. The foods took some time to make but I'm not complaining since you get to enjoy the beautiful view. The server was pretty nice and friendly. All the foods were on the pricier range but you're there for the experience, the view and the atmosphere. The valet parking was free, which is nice since it is a high end restaurant.
