    Biscuits and gravy

Service was absolutely terrible. There were others that were sat after us that received their food before we even got our drinks. Waited half an hour before getting coffee. The biscuits and gravy were flavorless. The seafood Benedict was good and the grits were fantastic (when I finally received them, they came after the plates)

Cafe Fleur-de-lis is a cute breakfast or brunch spot! They have lots of seafood and New Orleans flavors to choose from. I went with the seafood benedict, which is made with a crab-and-crawfish cake. The eggs were perfectly poached, and the biscuits were amazing. (Made me think the B's & G's would have been a good choice!) I would have preferred a little more hollandaise sauce--the crab cake and biscuits needed a little more wet. The seafood cake flavor did come through strong so no regrets in ordering it! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The service was a little slow--we waited a bit before our waitress came over. This restaurant seems like a good fit for an unhurried meal.

Walked right in for breakfast on our last day; just was super friendly and kind; as was our server. Loved the gluten-free grits...huge portion which fills you up for the trip home .

Just off busy Canal street not the same as the other location, so be mindful that there are two places. Crawfish Etouffee Bowl of house made crawfish étouffée and local rice with French bread. Love the succulent seafood flavor here. Highly recommend! Fried Green tomato served with made aïoli, a tad too bready, I'm still looking for a highlight fried tomato.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! Came for brunch today and left one happy man. Service was great. Both my co workers loved their food as well. I had the Oysters Benedict. Every bite was so good! I was sad when I was done.hopefully be able to go back before I leave town.

Very cute cafe with yummy finds! It was the last place on my list before I left NOLA and the grits did not disappoint!

Great service. Spacious seating. Food was really great. I had the Seriously Southern Breakfast. The pork belly was really great. Almost similar to a thick cut bacon yet even better. Overall the meal was great and tasty. Also tried the Mocha coffee which was great and had a free coffee refill. Definitely recommend eating here for breakfast.

Loved the food!! Waiter was great and food came out rather fast. It was busy but still pleasant and will go again!

Nice ambiance and good service the food wasn't as I hoped. The hash browns were very salty.

This place came highly recommended but I was sadly disappointed. We were quick to be sat and our waitress was super friendly and attentive but the food took FOREVER to come out. My eggs were overcooked and not runny at all. Benedicts should not be hard on the inside! The beignets were dense and tasted like the oil needed to be changed out. Hubby did like his omelet though. Our "special" coffees were not so special either. The restaurant was cute.

Stopped by on a Thursday morning for brunch. From what is can see, this is a new location of the business that's on Chartres. I'm not sure if they were shortstaffed, but the waiter seemed very rushed. He didn't say much came by and just put glasses of water down at our table and asked if we wanted any coffee drinks. When he came back to place our order is when I gave him the drink orders for everyone who wanted soft drinks. He returned and told me they were out of Dr Pepper, which is with three of the four of us at the table wanted. He went through and we made our alternative selections. Then came time to place our order. One wanted strawberry pancakes. They were out of strawberries. I had my heart set on the Cochon de Lait Benedict. They were out of that as well. We ultimately settled on chocolate chip pancakes, shrimp, and grits, and my husband got the crab catch omelette. Overall, we were very pleased with our selections, even if we were a little disappointed in the lack of availability of other things. The waiter did make my husband a sweet tea for the road, which I thought was very nice.

Server was a bit slow l, but my food (Crab Catch) was amazing. Informed others in my group that arrived later and everyone agreed.

Fresh seafood from the Gulf of MEXICO and a wicked drink menu. They offer several ceviches. Tapas include guacamole, empanadas, crawfish queso, fish dip and veggie salads like crispy cauliflower and Brussels sprouts. We had the crispy cauliflower served with tempura, cashew habanero crema, garbanzo hash, and chimichurri. Loads of flavor and just the right bite size for tapas/apps. Plates include churrasco, fish and grits, paella (can be served veggie or without shellfish if you're allergic), lamb, Yucatan style pork, shrimp or steak mofongo, and chicken poblano. I had the churrasco, served with papas bravas. Steak cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly. My husband had the steak mofongo and the beef tips, like the churrasco, were seasoned perfectly. The plantain mash was sweet and somehow savory at the same time. We loved both dishes. They make mean margaritas and caipirinhas hre, and also offer drinks like the paloma, the Bolivian sour, sangria, and specialty drinks. Service was amazing. She was so upbeat and helpful. This restaurant was a little slow when we went. It deserves a lot more love. It's so close to the touristy part of the French Quarter. Leave the gimmicky spots and come here, you won't regret it.

They were fabulous performers. The staff was fun and friendly, it wasn't really their fault with the problems that follow. The bad: For noon reservations for drag brunch, they were not ready at all. It was $35 a person for the reservation. It seems a bit steep, however the show was good. When I say they weren't ready, they really were on a struggle bus. We had a couple cocktails and I believe every one else had the $25 bottomless mimosas. However, they didn't have the champagne in stock so many people had to wait for a drink. And once they for them, it was hard to keep their glasses full with the lack of staff. We ordered food and it took FOREVER! I mean, we almost left because all we had in our stomach was coffee from the morning and a couple cocktails. Let me remind you that our reservation was for noon. We did not get our food until 2:30. I was getting quite nauseated. I ordered the chicken and French toast, I asked for no maple syrup but it was doused in it. It was ok. I ate the chicken. TL:DR- cocktails were good, the show was good. They needed more staff and the food was meh. EDIT: Our credit cards were charged and the money refunded and additional charges were placed on our card.

I was sad that they only had a rose available since I'm usually a red wine drinker. The charcuterie board was a good snacking size for two to three people and great for the price. The bartender had to check what wine was on tap when I asked and they were also testing out their old fashioned recipe.

I'm aging out of late night shows, so I took a pass on seeing Kings of Leon, Raye, Stephen Marley, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Blind Boys of Alabama, and Cowboy Mouth. Instead, I headed toward Frenchmen Street, and the Three Muses. The musicians from Bad Penny Pleasuremakers were setting up as I arrived around 6 p.m. By the time my drinks arrived the band was in full swing mode. Mills at the bar took my order - beef bulgogi ($16), a bottle of PBR ($5), and a Maker's Mark neat ($10) did the job. I paid at the bar and took the number letting the server know where to deliver the meal. The band kicked in, and I was transported to heaven. This is a small, open space where the band can dominate without being intrusive. I took my time with my meal, soaking up the generous vibe the band was sharing with the 20 or 30 of us in the hall. I should note a local resource that might get unsung: 99.7 wwoz tracks the music of New Orleans year round, and does a great job alerting us to venues and performances at places like Three Muses.
