This is a great little spot. They had a hot burritos, pastries, and biscuits and eggs with sausage of course coffee I got the pour over. I never had it. It was really nice. They got Wi-Fi plenty of room very much. A local spot got a lot of variety and it's on magazine so you can do a lot recommended. Thanks for a good little snack. The homemade hot sauce is recommended. The burrito was very tasty. The service was fast and friendly. I felt at home with this place.

If you know, you know. Mojo Coffee House is that spot--whether you're Uptown on Freret or Magazine Street, it's the kind of place that feels like home the moment you walk in. But let me tell you... it's not just about the coffee (even though their medium roast is smooth, bold, and just right). It's the boudin breakfast burrito that keeps me coming back. A flavor-packed NOLA-style hug wrapped in a tortilla, it's got just enough spice and soul to set your day on the right track. But the secret weapon? Their homemade hot sauce. It's tangy, it's got heat, and it belongs on that burrito. You can't have one without the other--seriously, I don't make the rules. Pair that combo with a cup of Mojo's coffee and it's the kind of breakfast that doesn't just fill you up--it lifts you up. Locals know the magic. Visitors should. New Orleans is full of flavor, but Mojo? Mojo's got heart, heat, and the kind of comfort you crave more than once a week.

Yay for Mojo! I regularly stop here when I'm in NOLA and looking for my coffee fix, and Mojo does their lattes right. You shouldn't be in a hurry when you're in New Orleans anyways, and it's well worth the wait to have Mojo make your hot beverage properly. The side snacks are also tasty!

Thank you Tony for your wonderful latte art for my wonderful wife!

We love cool coffee shops that are open late, have amazing service and create their own custom flavors. Mojo delivers! Plus, their large lavender latte for my wonderful wife comes with six shots of espresso! Zoom! Zoom! Rina took my order and was very helpful. Tony crafted the latte and produced a true work of awesome art! Wow! I've never seen latte art like this and my wife was thrilled! Life is good with late in the day vacation coffee with amazing latte art and great service! Thanks Rina and Tony!

Super cute coffee shop with a really friendly staff. I loved the old photos on the back wall -- such a nice touch and adds so much character to the space.

I love Mojo! It is one of my favorite coffee shops in the city. The location on Freret is perfect, and it's a great spot to study or get some work done while sipping on a delicious drink. I'm a big fan of their cappuccinos. My last to-go cup even had a cute little heart design on top. It can be a bit of a wait during busy times, but it's always worth it.

They were really quick to take the order but the baristas were definitely backed up. Staff were friendly and the drinks were good. Cold brew Nola style is definitely worth it.

What was there not to love? Cute coffee shop that still has a bit of that old school feeling of being able to pull out a book or your laptop and just chill for an hour or two. Only giving a 4 as I didn't have any food.

Dirty Chai

Came here based on a recommendation, I wanted some really good coffee. I ordered a dirty chai, it was so flavorful. Some of there coffee is from Guatemala, I got some espresso for my coffee machine at home. They even grind them up for me. They offer free Wi-Fi, I plugged in my laptop charger in the many available sockets. The staff are really nice here.

Mojo is my go-to coffee shop before work during the week. Awesome staff, great coffee, chill atmosphere. I'm usually there in the mornings, and I see the same 2 or 3 dogs every time. Always a great way to start the day. I usually get an iced vanilla latte or chai, but their teas are good too. I always try to snag a boudin burrito if they have any left--they go quick.

Great corner cafe! The coffee was fantastic and anyone who uses real maple syrup gets an extra few stars in my book.

I hear they're moving to a larger place which they have earned. When I first met the couple after they just opened this joint I was impressed with their leap of faith to create this place. The interior is an Alice in Wonderland full of whimsy, interesting art and beautifully designed decor that screams fun. Just like on my first JazzFest in 1987 an elderly man with one tooth in his mouth ambled up to me and said "if you can't have fun in New Orleans, you ain't got a pulse" My friend and I ordered the following Gris Gris with espresso: gris gris banana brown sugar gelato, praline rum ball, brûléed banana, caramel rum drizzle, cinnamon dust, espresso boozy version option: spiced rum evo drizzle option: koroneiki It was delicious and was a perfect ending after we had a great meal. I look forward to their move to their new location which I heard will have an event space. All the best to Drip and the Drippetts.

If breakfast had a personality, Café Fleur De Lis would be that effortlessly charming friend who…read moresomehow wakes up looking perfect and already has coffee brewing. We went all in: shrimp and grits that were downright phenomenal (I'm still thinking about them), a goat cheese omelette that was so good it made me question all my past breakfast decisions, and pancakes with berries that tasted like they were made by someone who genuinely cares about your happiness. The coffee? Strong enough to fix your life. The service? Warm, attentive, and somehow psychic--they just knew when we needed refills or another mimosa (which, for the record, felt less like a drink and more like a lifestyle choice). Honestly, this place doesn't just serve breakfast--it gives you a reason to get out of bed. 10/10 would wake up early again... and I do not say that lightly.

Our goal every year is to find somewhere new, and Cafe FDL definitely fit the bill this year. There is quaint seating on the first and second floor, and it feels like there's not going to be enough room, but the wait isn't bad. The service was quick and attentive, and the food was hot and filling. The alcohol was... alcohol. What's there to say about that? Price wise, it was reasonable, and it was filling enough that I wasn't hungry when I left, nor was I ill-prepared for any shenanigans that the say might bring. Definitely a solid choice for breakfast in the Quarter. Not fancy, but filling!

Still a New Orleans Gem - Visitor since 2018!…read more I'm updating my review as of April 2026 because it's important for visitors to know that The Vintage has absolutely "still got it." My last review was in 2020, and I'm happy to report that the quality and atmosphere remain top notch. Whether you are looking for a morning pick up or an evening wind-down, this spot covers all the bases. Their beignets and coffee are a classic must have, and I can personally vouch for their Americano. It is consistently well made and delicious. They also have a great selection of beer and cocktails if you're looking for something a bit stronger. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. We have always had great interactions with the staff, but a special shout out goes to Jimmy, whom we met this past week. He was incredibly kind and hospitable, truly making us feel right at home. Jimmy if you are reading this, THANK YOU!! If you want a spot that feels authentic, welcoming, and consistently excellent, put The Vintage at the top of your list!

The menu has many choices. I ordered the firecracker shrimp with side arugula salad. The shrimp was yummy the salad too but expected more on the salad maybe cucumber or tomatoes over all for just having cheese on Arugula with dressing was ok. I paired it with the shrimp and it was tasty! According to the hop on/off bus the beignets & champagne are the hit at this cafe. The bartender made a wonderful cocktail with champagne & it was delicious! The spot is dog friendly & in a cute little restaurant/bar row & shops area.
