We stopped into Lyones Corner planning to just grab coffees before hopping on the streetcar, but the vibe was so adorable we ended up lingering longer than expected. It has a charming Art Deco style that's very cute and inviting. Our drinks were great, and it's the kind of spot where you can easily settle in for a few minutes just to soak in the atmosphere. Perfect little stop if you're exploring the area and want something with personality instead of a generic café. read more

First meal in NOLA! Best catfish ever! Super juicy and huge! Fries were good too! Loved the muffuleta cobb too. Vinaigrette was really good and toppings were generous. The seafood gumbo was super flavorful while broth was light. Oysters were good too but a few were small lol. Our server Toni was wonderful, asked him for recs and he delivered, choices were from his recs! I asked him whether we should get the single beignet or the bites and he was like oh, I already placed an order for you. What hospitality! The restaurant was a few doors down from Wyndham cuz we wanted something close cuz it was late. It was very quaint. I really liked the decor and vibe. It was a quiet evening. read more

Business breakfast here and honestly food was good but service was terrible. I hate rating by service but it was so bad I need to. Server was just no where to be found. The breakfast itself was fine when it finally arrived. Egg and cheese croissant was good and few others got the avo toast which was also good. read more

Very charming and quiant spot. I had the Pimento and the Chicken skewers, both were amazing. I also felt the food options were reasonably healthy. and there was a good selection to choose from. My waitress kept checking on me in a good fashion. I would definately make a return trip. read more

This was my first time here. It was a recommendation by a local. The aesthetics were absolutely beautiful. Its a trendy chic spot. Brunch was excellent. We ordered the empanadas, veggie omelete, & croissant with pork belly & cheese. The iced latte, iced chai latte, & iced Matcha were excellent. We had a great time!! I highly recomme read more

I really wanted to love Lyons Corner. I'd seen their drinks and food all over TikTok and was excited to finally try what's being called the best espresso martini in New Orleans -- no small claim in a city that takes its cocktails seriously. Unfortunately, we never even got that far. We had a reservation and arrived on time, but ended up standing awkwardly near the entrance for nearly 15-20 minutes. The bartender, who was clearly overwhelmed but kind, kept apologizing and saying someone would be with us shortly. Meanwhile, one staff member came up to the front several times -- but seemed more preoccupied with counting cash and tending to a table of six rather than helping anyone else. The restaurant wasn't even busy at the time. Eventually, a woman (who we assume was a hostess or server?) shouted vaguely in our direction from across the room -- no greeting, no acknowledgment -- just a general statement that may or may not have been for us. By then, we had already made the decision to leave. It's a real shame, because the space is super cute, and the menu looked great. I was genuinely excited to try their cocktails and food, but the disorganized and inattentive service made us feel completely overlooked. Maybe it was an off night, but with so many incredible places in New Orleans, it's hard to justify a return visit when the first impression was so poor. read more

By now, this is my third (maybe fourth?) time at Lyons Corner, and let me tell you... I don't know why the bar is never crowded, but I'm not asking questions. I'm just enjoying the peace. Every time I go, I slide into my usual seat at the bar and catch up with my bartender bestie, Tiana. At this point, it's tradition. My order is consistent: - Truffle fries (crispy, perfectly seasoned, no notes) - Espresso martini (honestly one of the best in the city, debate your maw) - Caesar salad (and if Toni is anywhere nearby, I'm adding grilled chicken because I know it's going to be perfect). Everybody else I bring? They get the Smashburger, and I have never seen so much as a crumb left behind. Bottom line: If you're in New Orleans looking for an easy vibe, great drinks, and food that hits every time, pull up to Lyons Corner. Even if it's just for the espresso martini and a muffin... you won't regret it. read more

Really great service and food too. The lounge area was super comfortable and great drink selection. Absolutely no domestic beer is the only downfall read more

We stopped by here earlier this year for drinks and had a great time. It was on the slower side so we got to chat with both the staff and a few of the other patrons on their recommendations for where to get breakfast the next day. Drinks were great, service was great, ambiance was great, all around just a great place to visit. I would love to go back again if I'm in the area. read more

This is most certainly my new spot! Right in the next block from my house, very convenient If i'd like to grab a quick drink. This place is a coffee shop, bar, + restaurant connected to the Magnolia Hotel. I love the windows here, I find myself enjoying a drink and end up in a whole reverie while staring out of the windows. Service is always great and the staff are extremely cool. Tony was such a pleasure! It's such a great experience every time I visit here. Would highly recommend. read more

Grabbed Lyon's Corner for my morning coffee & it was good! This spot is nice & cozy. read more

A nice coffee shop in the morning and a bar with weird vibes due to the music in the evenings. After 4 pm get ready to listen to the kind of music you need to wear two cardigans to enjoy. It gives funeral parlour and needs to be a little more modern. Great staff, tasty drinks and food with a clean contemporary look but in the evening the slow tempo audio may make you drift into an unintended nap only to awake 20 years later a la rip van winkle. read more

The aloe marg & Tony cannot be beaten. 10/10 every single time. The food, the vibes, the drink are top notch.

Best breakfast sandwich. Nice place with plenty of outlets to get work done. Toni is great!

Such a great place! We stayed right next to it and stumbled in. We are so thankful we did! The best espresso martini EVER made by Toni. The burger is out of this world! 10/10. We will be back. Great service (thanks Toni!) read more

I had a very disappointing experience at Lyons Corner and will not be returning. My friends and I had a 10:30am reservation for brunch, excited for a girls' morning out. When we arrived, we stood at the front for over 15 minutes without even being greeted -- despite there only being two other tables occupied. When we finally got someone's attention and mentioned our reservation, we were told they'd seat us shortly. Another 15 minutes passed, and we were still just standing there, waiting. No updates, no menus, no acknowledgment. By 11am -- 30 minutes after our arrival -- we still hadn't been seated, so we asked a server if we'd still be able to order from the breakfast menu. We were told no, because breakfast ends at 11. The irony? We arrived at 10:30, yet weren't seated or even given the opportunity to order what we specifically came for. Frustrated, we decided to leave. When I let a staff member know, she just shrugged -- literally shrugged -- like she couldn't care less. We were genuinely looking forward to trying the food and enjoying a nice brunch, but the complete lack of hospitality and disorganization ruined it. Save your time and go somewhere that actually values its customers. Lyons Corner clearly doesn't. read more

Amazing hospitality from the front desk. Although we only grabbed a few bakery items they were extremely patient and polite to us. Especially considering my mother's lack of understanding of the English language. The building was well lit and welcoming right when we headed inside. We didn't have much experience with the food but the items from the bakery were soft and pleasing. read more

This little spot has a lot of potential as a hidden gem. It offers a very comforting vibe, centered around a beautiful coffee and cocktail bar. The menu is small, but the food was tasty. I started with their take on the old fashioned which was very good. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive throughout my meal. I tried the pimento cheese and chicken skewers as starters which were both good, but nothing to write home about. I did enjoy the homemade saltine crackers for the pimento cheese, however. For the main course, I tried the short rib which was absolutely to die for. Full of flavor and fall off the bone, I highly recommend this dish. I hope Lyons Corner makes it; it truly has potential as a hidden gem near canal. read more

Lyons Corner describes itself as having "Fresh roasted coffee, crafted cocktail concoctions and small plate magic". After dining and relaxing there several times over the course of a week, I would have to agree with all of the above. As we found out during our visit, Lyons Corner had just opened in late December 2024. Sitting at the bar and speaking with staff confirmed everyone had extensive food and beverage experience/knowledge. We spent most of our time at the U shaped bar. From there, you have quick access to being able to order food and beverage. Tables and seating areas were also available in the space. The food was excellent. Over the course of several days, we tried the Pimento Cheese with fried crackers as an appetizer, enjoyed the Muffuletta Salad, Mr. T's Double Smash Burger with superb skinny French fries, a Caesar salad in a Parmesan bowl with chicken added, and for breakfast the Lyon's Benedict. Everything was excellent. A happy hour provides reduced price wines and appetizers. I spoke with several of the bartenders who could suggest cocktails based upon the flavor profile you were seeking. Further, because of their excellent coffee, I enjoyed one of the best Espresso Martini's that I have had at any establishment. Having been open for only a few weeks does have its challenges. Some people walked into Lyons Corner without the knowledge that orders are placed at the counter and your food/drink will be brought to your table. As the week went on, I noticed the staff greeting customers and letting them know that all the seating is open, providing customers menus and letting them know to come to the counter once you decided on your food/drink order. Lyons Corner was a cozy and welcoming environment that enhanced our stay at the adjoining Hotel Theo. Thank you for a great experience. We hope to be back soon. read more

Honestly I can't say enough great things about this place. We came several times - for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. Just about everyone on the staff was attentive and friendly, even if they got really busy. But better yet, the food and drinks were delicious. My partner & I just fell in love with this gem of a place. Top recommendations: SMASH BURGER (wow- one of the best burgers I've had in a while), Jeremy's vanilla bean espresso martini, and Theo's breakfast skillet. I could go on and on. Do yourself a favor and stop by. Big shout outs to Michelle & Jeremy! read more
