This is a super cute coffee shop with really great coffee, espresso, and smoothies, and I love their quick to go breakfast food items. The types of muffins and scones and such are fairly creative and they vary daily, but there isn't a large selection so if you're picky you may not like it. Great service, cute sitting area, though not a TON of space for groups larger than 3 or 4 people. It's right on the main street in downtown Bath, so it's great to pop in and grab coffee before you shop or take a walk along the river! read more

I've tried many times over the years to give this place a chance. Bath isn't exactly a cafe mecca, so when I'm here and craving some caffeine I head in because of the convenient location. Unfortunately I'm not sure I've ever had a drink here that I enjoyed. The lattes have always been bitter, and the few hot chocolates and chai I've ordered have been excessively milky (like the chocolate/chai tip-toed through it). I don't like having to send back food or drinks but a few times I've been served a drink that is utterly un-drinkable, however I've always been meet with an apologetic staff when this happens. All in all I chalk it up to having baristas that simply do not know how to pull a good shot of espresso, and a lack of attention to drinks. If they tasted even half the drinks they served, they might think differently about the product they put out. If you're looking for a bite to eat I have found that the only bright spot is the food they serve, however I'm pretty sure the majority of it is made by someone else. We couldn't pass up the enticing aroma finding it's way down the sidewalk; beckoning a visit to a delightfully unassuming shop in a spacious yet homey and bright little cafe. The owner was delightful and she knows how to make her coffee. We were especially tempted by the experience and decided to indulge in some sweets. The soft molasses cookie makes a great companion to the truly great coffee while one lounges in a leather chair, basking in the sunlight. read more

Cafe Creme is my absolute favorite. A little more expensive than, say, dunkin donuts, but very much worth it! Healthier, tastier options of various items. Vegan and Gluten free options. And I love their coffee! The people are super friendly. It IS a very small space they h;ave to work with, so on busy days it can be quite crowded, but it is still excellent and worth it in my opinion. read more

Loved this place! Walked in not knowing what to expect from a small town coffee shop and was delighted at it's charm and personality. Baristas were busy but both prompt and friendly. Since I've moved to Bath my view of Cafe Creme has changed...I love the creative lattes they suggest and the cool atmosphere. I don't often sit around as the place is usually busy and I live to grab a coffee before meandering downtown. Still not an ideal place to sit with a laptop, and I am now happy about that. read more

I've been here at least a dozen times, and it's a decent, mellow coffee shop. It's somewhat cramped, and it tends to be crowded, but that's part of the kitchy feel. Today was no exception - we had a frozen chai (delicious, with yummy whipped cream on top), a strawberry lemonade smoothie (well made and balanced in flavors), a strong, well brewed coffee, and even some bottled items (to go). Although not an overtly friendly crew, they were quick and accurate in our orders. I wouldn't hesitate to stop by for another round of coffee or a smoothie. read more

On a Yelp whim I decided to find a decent latte; this place was great! Friendly staff, really good Gingersnap cookie & they listened patiently & then executed my choice of how I wanted my latte. Went back the next day with husband - again spot on with our drinks - he had what we call a Dirty Chai (think they call it a Chai Charger here) & I had my Van Latte xtra foam oh & the lemon poppy seed muffin was a yumfest of flavor. We stopped in for a little afternoon snack and couldn't be more delighted. The shop is cozy and bright- you're surrounded by beautiful large windows and have several seating options to choose from. We split a bear claw which was warmed up and delicious! We plan on coming back for lunch some time since everything they have just looks delectable. We ordered turtle and caramel cream lattes. Both drinks were flavorful while retaining a nice bold coffee flavor. This place is great and totally recommend it if you're looking for a nice drink or small plate. read more

I'm up visiting Maine this week. Sitting here enjoy a nice peppermint mocha and and absolutely outstanding Maple Bacon cinnamon bun (Saturdays only so it's my lucky day). It was a real treat. As many people have noted, it's a nice quaint and cozy coffee shop fitting for a small town. Reminds me of a place close to home, aside from the true Mainer accents. Needs an upgrade! I couldn't even concentrate on the menu because the walls were dirty, the carpet probably has never been cleaned, very dark, not bright at all. The location is wonderful and this place could be so much more. It needs to be cleaned and the staff need to be more presentable. read more

Cafe creme, is an internet cafe in the town of Bath, Maine. it's a good place to mingle and meet new people, the waiters are friendly and have a happy to serve you attitude. its not to loud not to quiet, but a place where you can rejuvinate and relax. for my self i enjoyed my stay there i sat on the couches and watched the people pass by. its clean and an enjoyable atmosphere. i would highly recommend to go for a coffe break. read more

I wanted to like this place, but it's hard to when you crave iced black tea, and your only option here is ginger peach, while at the same time you can get whatever flavor coffee or smoothie you like. (What do you have against iced tea drinkers Cafe Creme?) Also, I don't like icing on my muffins, and the chocolate croissants are just weird. Way too much chocolate. Picked up a good iced latte from this cute place with super nice staff. It was a little crowded on a Saturday afternoon with people ordering and waiting for drinks, and just about all of the tables full. But everyone was polite and it has a good neighborhood vibe. read more

This is my go to breakfast place in Bath. The coffee is pretty good but the stuffed croissants are amazing! I would go there just for those.

We stopped on our way home (Boston) from a wedding in Wiscasset because the preview reviews included breakfast sandwiches. We were sad to find they don't seem to make them anymore (?!?!). We got a savory scone and a stuffed croissant, which were both good, but not exactly as hearty as what we'd been hoping for. We also had the green tea with mint, which was very nice. I checked them out the other day and found the place very busy, as I can usually see through the windows. Inside it smell really wet and musty, which can happen, but it certainly didn't help the experience. The staff was cool at best, we felt as if we were in their way, while ordering two lattes. Had there been a line of people yet to be served we may not have felt so negative about it, but all the customers inside were already served. We wont be back, we love other cafes far better! read more
