Great people, food and coffee. Enjoyed our visit but too noisy to have a conversation. Place needs some sound dampening.

Wild Oats was the perfect surprise stop on our road trip from Portland to Bar Harbor. We pulled off…read morein Brunswick for a quick break and ended up having one of the best coffee experiences of the entire trip. I walked in thinking I'd order something simple, but Jocelyn somehow anticipated exactly what I wanted before I even said it -- an oatmeal latte with honey infused right into the espresso. It was warm, silky, lightly sweet, and honestly one of the most thoughtful, dialed‑in drinks I've had anywhere. You can tell when someone really knows their craft, and she absolutely does. We also grabbed the curried chicken sandwich, which was fresh, flavorful, and the perfect balance of creamy and bright. It's the kind of sandwich that makes you pause mid‑bite and go, "Wait... this is really good." The whole place has that cozy‑local‑favorite energy -- friendly staff, great food, and the kind of coffee that makes you want to reroute your trip just to come back again. If you're driving through Freeport, Camden, or anywhere along the coast, Wild Oats is 100% worth the detour.

Bow Street does it again! I seem to have an uncanny ability to find tastings - and when I thought I…read morewas making a quick stop to get two avocados there was a tasting happening! It was great - the woman from the distributor was perfect. What made it extra memorable was a calligrapher who added messages to each bottle purchased. So yes, instead of 2$ for avocados I have a bottle of 10 year old Basil Hayden bourbon & bottle of tequila aged in a bourbon barrel.

This rating is specific to the Deli which I've NEVER had a good experience with. Only reason we…read morereturn is for Boars Head meats which can't be found anywhere else. For starters, they won't permit you to pre-order over the phone and direct you to the app, which also die NOT have an option to order deli meats. When you arrive at the deli, there are typically 4-6 employees standing behind the counter and not one of them will bother to acknowledge your presence. Certainly never any niceties. Instead, you'll find them shooting the shit tucked in the corner snacking on deli meats and cheeses. After multiple minutes waiting, One will come and ask if you've been helped because it's not obvious enough that I'm standing there alone, staring at them and no one has lifted a finger. This deli has to be the penalty box for Bow St workers because they all act like they're in a cage waiting to be let out and want absolutely NOTHING to do with patrons. They'll literally let meat roll off the slicer into a bag that ultimately falls apart when trying to remove a slice. Today, I got home to find a half pound of turkey ends. These guys clearly intentionally try to ruin days. Owners, PAY ATTENTION. This is on YOU.

Maine really has an incredible local coffee shop scene, and LRC is another welcome addition to it…read more Their motto? "We're about a good cup of coffee, delicious locally-sourced food, and being a welcoming and comfortable space to work, visit, or dream in Lisbon Falls." Their two major partners are Black Ink Coffee out of Bangor and the Italian Bakery out of Lewiston. This might not seem like a big deal, but there are so many places opening up in Greater Portland now that don't use a local coffee roaster and I don't get it. So, thanks LRC! The space has seating in front (it feels like these are the most coveted ones, as they're comfortable chairs with armrests located in front of their floor to ceiling windows overlooking the street) and some more basic two and four top tables in the back. The staff? So friendly! They were super patient when I had loads of questions, they made recommendations (like secret menu kind of stuff!), and they double-check our specific order, I think the coffee itself is good (hot, iced, or cold brew specifically); the specialty latte menu is really fun! It changes seasonally, and they're creative enough options that you'll want to come back to find out what the new line-up is. For me, though, they are too, too, too sweet. The sweetest latte I've ever had, honestly. It tasted like I was drinking melted ice cream. So, if you like a sugar forward, milk forward drink, get it as is. If you like a more coffee forward drink, PRO TIP, ask for half the amount of syrup and double up your espresso shots as well.
