One of the best spots we tried in Maine! Love the cabin rustic vibe. Plenty of seating and parking. The staffs were all super nice and friendly. People in line were just all talking to each other and giving each other recommendations. They have a bunch of homemade ice cream flavors and desserts. They also have many seasonal flavors as well. We got the ice cream flight to share between two people on mini waffle cone bowls. Ice cream was super creamy. The flight comes in 3 choices of ice cream. We got the mud slide (chocolate, fudge, and brownie blend), maine blueberry (obviously), and lavender. All 3 flavors were great and the star of the flavors really shined through! Definitely coming back to try other flavors and other desserts.

Yes! I definitely recommend this location!! They serve amazingly delicious creamy ice cream. They have all of the classic flavors you will love and also some other flavor combinations you must try, like German Chocolate cake! I'm such a fan of their Coffee Oreo with Fudge. YUM!!! If you can't decide, get a flight of ice cream (see picture). plenty of seating and plenty of parking. the inside can get a little crowded when it is full force tourist season. Worth the trip if you are in the area. Support Local Business that make delicious ice cream.

Place had plenty of parking and the sign called to us on our drive to the garden. With so many flavors, I took a chance and ate samples of different interesting flavors. The staff was patient to my question and after so many samples, I got the lemon sobert which was refreshing in this warm day~ my partner had the blueberry ice cream which was also a great flavor. Place was clean but definitely busy~ I wish they had more seating or outside tables because it's so nice outside the building too with lots of nature.

BEST ice cream in Maine! They typically have a coconut milk based, dairy free ice cream on rotate (their chocolate and almond joy are both so good) plus 3 sorbet flavors that are dairy free too. Mango is a family favorite! As far as regular Ice cream goes, all of their flavors are perfectly creamy and packed with flavor! They don't skip on the ice cream filling. We love their Cookie Monster and coffee Oreo, both have tons of cookies ensuring you get a punch of flavor in each bite. My son loves their vanilla (and so do I!). Even their more "boring" flavors are anything but! My husband skips right to their chocolate chip cookies, baked fresh daily. We've also come in the morning for their loafs, scones, and bagels. We're never disappointed! Add on a latte for the best start to your morning. All this to say, you can't go wrong with whatever you choose! Then come back, two, three... ten times to try something new!

Great pricing... their pistachio ice cream is the best I've ever had, with real nuts inside. Great selection of flavors. Other favorites of mine included Chai. Staff is friendly.

Split scoop, chai and chocolate almond. Delicious!!!

Fantastic place! Open all day from 8am-8pm. Homemade icecream (the Chai is to die for!) also tried the chai latte with oat milk, very very good. Super frothy! Also tried the breakfast sandwiches, kind of small but very delicious! Overall, great food, treats, and super friendly staff! Would highly recommend, this is the best ice cream on the peninsula. (This is coming from someone who used to work at the ice cream shop downtown!) NOT TO MENTION HOMEMADE WAFFLE CONES!!!! Plus the balcony seating and the hand painted ice cream flavor signs! Do yourself a favor and come here!

The flight we picked. Heath vanilla, coffee oreo and blueberry cobbler. All smooth creamy and flavorful!

The best ice cream we've had in a long time. Very creamy and delicious. Recommend the Moose tracks. By far my favorite waffle cone!

We knew we wanted ice cream to bring home and they had pre packaged pints for what we wanted, and for the "special" that day, they created a package so we could get it back land enjoy. Super creamy vanilla, and a Vanilla graham cracker mix that was crunchy and smooth (I know, a wonderful contradiction). We try to get to Maine once a vacation season, hope we can make a detour next time and support these folks again. Pleasant and positive with a great product!

You can currently find them located in the parking lot of OystHERS Raw Bar & Bubbly. They do have a relatively small menu offerings which makes sense as they are operating in the truck. I have followed them since opening on social media and their offerings look amazing. Especially the times they have worked with fellow local business Frosty Donuts and combined their donuts with the soft serve. Lucky for us this weekend happened to be one of those times. While it was delicious I really would rather not know the calorie or sugar count that I consumed but we will just call it a weekend treat! For flavors they had vanilla and their current special which was Mocha and you could get mocha swirled with vanilla. The mocha is another example of them supporting other local businesses as well since they used coffee from a local coffee roaster from Harpswell. My wife got it swirled with vanilla and had cinnamon crunch croissant as a premium topping and it was delicious. I of course got their special donut collab that featured the mocha soft serve with Frosty's donut topped with in house cookie crumbles and Allen's Coffee Brandy caramel so yet another local collab. It was pure decadence in the best way! Do yourself a favor and try this spot for a special treat on a hot day and enjoy it by the waterfront! Not that I have tried any other ice cream spots in nearby area I will gladly return here and recommend it to anyone going to this area. Top notch soft serve and I hope they are successful and look forward to see their offerings expand.

Yes the lines are long, sometimes 2-3 hours before it's your turn to order your meal. Today I ordered an appetizer lobster pop. It was ok nothing to write home about but I also ordered scallops , onion rings, lobster roll, excellent iced tea & excellent iced coffee. We picked an outside table & waited for our order to be delivered. It only took 10-15 minutes to have our order delivered. Red's doesn't weigh their lobster all they do is pile it on so high you can't see the buttered grilled hotdog roll. Served with a side of hot butter to dip or pour on the lobster. I couldn't finish my roll so I took home some leftover lobster that I weighed at home. It weighed 4.7 oz more than what a normal lobster roll weighs regularly. I can safely say there was around 16z of fresh tender lobster meat. No chewiness incurred. Look closely at the pictures & start making plans to visit Red's Eats in Wiscasset Maine. We chose to go visit when they 1st opened on May 6th so the line we stood in was only 10-12 people deep. We will go back in October before they close for the season. This will be the most impressive lobster shack you'll ever experience. Make plans & drive there soon.

OPENING DAY 2026 I…read morewas lucky enough to be in the area on opening day and knew it was finally time to try the famous Reds Eats as a native Mainer. Since it was opening day on a wednesday and i arrived around 1:45 i only waited in line about half an hour so i cant speak on wait times during peak season. I do know however that i would wait in a longer line to eat this food again because it was more than worth it. First of all the customer service is exceptional- i dont think i have had a better more friendly experience. They give you sampled while you wait in line and during my time they were handing out their beer batters fried shrimp and wow even that was amazing! I waited while it was cold and rainy as well so the hot shrimp was a wonderful surprise. I watched ever interaction the employees had with every individual party and the never wavered in politeness or excitement. They treated everyone with the same respect and really took their time catering to them. Now onto the food, i ordered the sweet potato fries with the house made maple aoili, a side of cole slaw, and of course the lobster roll which was a market price of $38 on opening day. The food came out so fast, the wait times are not because they don't get food out in a timely manner because they were an excellent well oiled machine in the kitchen. This lobster roll is absolutely STUFFED with lobster. I had at least two tails, two claws, and then some in my one hot dog roll and i couldn't even pick it up. Let's just say i fork and knifed it until i could take a bite of the roll which i am not complaining about at all! Comes with hot butter on the side which i liked more than just being dumped onto the roll beforehand. Pro tip- get the side of sweet potato fries because the house made maple aoili it comes with is also fantastic when you dip your lobster roll in it! Plus the fries were perfectly hot and crispy. Cole slaw was a great addition too for some crunch! I love being able to look out into the water as you sit outside, and i was even bundled up in a jacket but i wouldn't change my experience for anything! This is by far the best price point for any lobster roll you'll get in Maine when we are talking about quality and quantity. You will leave extremely satisfied and the experience is going to stay on your mind until you go again! I can't wait for my next chance to eat at Reds!
