    Turkish coffee

If you appreciate authentic Turkish coffee, Y%F Coffee in Portland is a must-visit. The presentation is incredible..served in beautiful, ornate metallic sets and the coffee itself is rich and authentic. The desserts, like their shredded kataifi pastry, are just as impressive. Outstanding spot!

YF somehow pulls off the impossible, it feels airy and spacious while still giving off peak cozy coffee shop energy. The massive bar window is front row seating to one of Portland's best city scenes, with sweeping views of the iconic Flatiron Building, the State Theatre, and Congress Square Park. Perched right on the corner of Congress and High, it offers the perfect glimpse into the quaint hustle and bustle that makes this little harbor city so charming. This is the kind of place made for lingering, steaming cups of Turkish coffee, long conversations, and the dangerous belief that maybe one more drink is a good idea. Not in the mood to post up? Grab your cup to go and take it across the street to the Portland Museum of Art for what might be the most cultured caffeine run in town. For anyone visiting Portland, YF belongs firmly on the must do list. Friendly service and delicious food and drink are only part of what sets YF apart. Since their soft launch, they've really been picking up steam, smoothing out the opening-day wrinkles, and settling beautifully into their corner of the. If their future is as bright as the light pouring through that window, this place is going to be a Portland staple in no time.

Turkey croissant, and passion fruit lemonade

This caffe has such a nice ambiance and smells amazing inside! I ordered the turkey croissant and the passion fruit lemonade, both had well put together presentation and tasted great! Staff were friendly and able to help with anything we needed.

It's literally everything you'd ever want in a biscuit and to make matters worse, they do a sweet and savory option that really puts me over the edge. This weekend: tomato jam and goat cheese. These biscuits have to be on it a top 25 list of best things I've ever put in my mouth. It's really an incredible experience, even if you wait in that heinously long line. But, you don't have to wait in line. Wake up by 745 and place your order online you can order any of the baked goods or breakfast sandwiches, along with drip and cold brew coffee. They will keep your biscuit sandwiches hot, store your pastries for you, and they don't pour your coffee until you arrive for pick up. So you can order at 7:45 in the morning and pick up at 1 PM if you really wanted. It's as good as they say, and you must make a point of visiting when you're in Portland!

He also assured us despite the line it wouldn't be long. It was true they definitely kept it moving. Showing up a little later in the day their pastries were low so show up early for the best selection. They have inside seating as well as a nice little outside seating section too. We did only get drinks so look at other reviews for info on the food. My wife got an Iced Mocha and I got an Iced Vanilla Latte. I do think they could take names to improve the drink pick up so you know it's your drink like many other places do. Overall the drinks were good but with all of the coffee options in the greater Portland area it would not be top choice.

If I were to come back here I would opt to just get coffee rather than food OR I'd come for a glass of wine because I did like the vibe on the inside. They advertise themselves as all day cafe/bar and market. The vibes were perfect with an overall cozy and welcoming feel. It seemed like a spot many regulars come to often as the workers appeared to know many people who came through! They have a bar with roughly 8 seats, along with some tables. With the back of the store having goodies to buy including candles, self-care items, wines, drinks, and more. Worth browsing before or after your drinks and food. We snagged two bar stools and were immediately greeted and served water along with a menu. All three staff members were friendly and made us feel welcome. Drink wise my wife got an iced mocha while I saw their drink special of the month on social media and had to try it. Named The Blue Rose with Butterfly pea flower, cardamom rose, whole milk, pebble ice and espresso on top. A photo-worthy beverage with a delicious flavor. I would keep coming back for this drink for sure if it were a permanent menu item! Food wise my wife and I both got a breakfast sandwich, only difference she got bacon while I got the impossible sausage. Well made and delicious sandwiches that would make us return as well. I do wish they would have been a little bigger though. If our visit today was any indication of the typical my wife and I would gladly return! Friendly service in a great setting with well made food and drinks. Need to return to give their cocktails a try! A standout space in Portland.

We decided to come here for coffee and snacks before heading to the park for the morning with our toddler. We arrived around 9:30am and must've gotten lucky bc we walked right up to the bar and were helped by a super friendly gal and ordered coffees, a few pastries from their display case (I got a huge chocolate chip cookie cup stuffed with Nutella for later) and my husband ordered the Pastrami on Rye sandwich to go. We sat and waited about 15 minutes and watched the crowd grow as about 20 people came into order to go drinks and snacks and a few chose to sit at the patio tables out front for dine in. By the time we left they were warning folks that the kitchen was taking about 45 minutes for food bc of so many orders at once and take out. It's charming inside, with a large bar area with about 15 bar seats, and a few small tables. Cute decor on the walls all Duck-themed and friendly staff who were really bustling. Of note: the Pastrami sandwich my husband ordered was AMAZING. One of the top ones he's had and he orders them everywhere. The pastrami was hot and fresh and the rye was perfectly toasted. My 2-year old loved it. Ha! They have a nice menu of food items inside - with sandwiches, specials, and lunch/dinner options it looked like. I'd love to come back and have more time to chill, enjoy the vibes on a slow afternoon, and order some food.
