Over the course of our week+ vacation, this is by far the best breakfast we had anywhere, hands-down. We were deliberately trying to eat at as many different places as we could as part of our vacation experience. The staff was wonderfully friendly and laid-back. The food was Excellent! Fresh, flavorful, real food no fillers. Loved the hash omelet! Felt good eating there. The atmosphere also was adorable and pleasant and made us feel at-ease. Next time we go to Maine we're stopping here!

Amazing breakfast! We always come to Popham Beach and have never tried this place due to the amount of cars out front it's always so busy so we tried a Friday morning at 10:00 and it was just perfect. Waitress was so kind, helpful, and truly on top of her game, running food, taking all the tables and ringing people out. All of our meals were amazing and were well priced. We all went home full and happy. I love checking Facebook to see the specials of the day and I was excited to try something new like the Thai Shrimp Scramble it was really amazing. A nice local spot with outstanding service, I would come back even if there was a long wait!

Winnegance is truly unique. It's in an old general store and has a charming, shabby chic vibe to it. We love to eat on the porch to enjoy the view of the Kennebec River. Breakfasts -- Look at the specials. There's always a few with fresh seafood. One of my favorite dishes is the Cajun haddock scramble. Also, Holly makes delicious baked goods. I'm hooked on her peanut butter cookies.

We stopped here after a beach trip and some poor food planning thinking we could just pick up some snacks and waters to hold us over until dinner. We had no idea it was a full service restaurant and we ended up having the most amazing lunch. Lobster grilled cheese, Reuben, & chowder. The staff was super friendly and it was clean and Covid safe. In fact, it was so good we drove an hour north on the way home to try breakfast and it did not disappoint. I had the Winnnegance special and it was an amazing Egg Benedict with lobster, fresh spinach and home fries. It was worth the trip back. I did not have any but I heard their cinnamon rolls are legendary.

My husband and I kept driving past and thinking we need to check this place out! I am so glad we did because it was delicious, cute as heck inside, and the prices were actually more reasonable that most places we have been. I will say we stopped for breakfast though and can't speak on their lunch menu. We brought in our extended family, so we're a large table of 7 and they managed us just fine, food still came quickly. My husband and I split the breakfast sandwich and the dressed up French toast and both were fantastic! We were too big of a group to seat outside but the view there is also really nice! Only tip is be prepared with parking, it's kind of limited. That said our two cars got parked easily!

I walked in thinking I'd order something simple, but Jocelyn somehow anticipated exactly what I wanted before I even said it -- an oatmeal latte with honey infused right into the espresso. It was warm, silky, lightly sweet, and honestly one of the most thoughtful, dialed‑in drinks I've had anywhere. You can tell when someone really knows their craft, and she absolutely does. We also grabbed the curried chicken sandwich, which was fresh, flavorful, and the perfect balance of creamy and bright. It's the kind of sandwich that makes you pause mid‑bite and go, "Wait... this is really good." The whole place has that cozy‑local‑favorite energy -- friendly staff, great food, and the kind of coffee that makes you want to reroute your trip just to come back again. If you're driving through Freeport, Camden, or anywhere along the coast, Wild Oats is 100% worth the detour.

We were greeted by a friendly server The menu was diverse, and all the dishes seemed well curated. They serve local coffee! I had the generously portioned sweet potato and scrambled egg bowl. The server offered to bring out fresh home fries. then the front of the house manager brought our bill and discounted the tab greatly. He was very apologetic. We definitely would go back based on this customer service. Worth mentioning, there is a side entrance that is handicap accessible (the main entrance on Centre Street has steps leading up to it). My son ordered the breakfast burrito with no onions, and although it did arrive with onions, he was successful in removing them. He said it was very good. After having some of the bread prior to our meals at a few restaurants, we found out the bread is locally sourced at a sister business right around the corner from where ate the night before. There is parking avail for customers in the lot for 30 mins, we prob waited about 20 mins and crossed the threshold into baked goods heaven. There was so much to select from - we got pastries, cookies, pizza and bread - and we pretty much liked everything. Our least favorite was the morning bun with walnuts - we didn't have it right away so that might've been part of the issue. Just note that the bread served at the restaurants aren't available until 2pm - we were leaving that morning so we weren't going wait for it. We opted for other loaves instead and they didn't disappoint. If you want something yummy and fresh - make sure to stop by here before heading out of Portland. I do wish the setup was a bit more conducive to the big crowds as there isn't much space from the front door to the counter but still a fantastic find!
