Really great little hidden gem! The staff were all friendly and helpful. Everything that we ordered was very tasty. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, which my wife hadn't seen, and she was unsure which she preferred between mine and her club, which is rare for someone who has a knack for finding the best thing on the menu! My kids LOVED the homemade "pop tarts"! The decor and furniture gives a feeling of being fresh and clean, and the patio gives a nice outdoor option.

I've wanted to try the food here for ages, one of those things that it just didn't work out. Today my granddaughter called and said let's go. I had a Great Island breakfast sandwich - very good and messy! Done just right - I think next time I may have the secret sauce on the side. Aubrey totally enjoyed the Chebeague Grilled Cheese - yummy! Service was awesome; and sitting in the sun on the deck - beautiful.

Super cute waterfront location for a casual breakfast or lunch. The sandwiches are next level flavor. Outstanding service! Spacious well-designed indoor dining space w/ lots of light. Ample outdoor seating w/ water view. You can also pick up a fresh flower bouquet from local Mare Brook Farms.

Lovely gourmet sandwiches! Perfect in the summertime to eat on the patio, but still lovely in the winter. The Provisions downstairs has everything you may need to save a trip into town. Every employee is so kind and happy to help you or just chat. Will be coming every summer.

Happiness: That's what I feel when I eat great food.

Having an eatery so close to home can be addictive. Current menu is comfort food, with a twist of elegance. Ambience: Eat on the spacious deck over looking the water and boats coming and going. Service: Every detail is fine tuned, right down to a pickle! Color: Eye catching colors are the Iris Eats signature of "welcome." Wine: I don't drink, but cook with wine.. But if I did this is a one stop shop for the discerning pallet. Parking: Handicap, plenty of spaces for this one of kind meal. Experience: Customer centered enthusiasm... Timely order to plate, You will be happy every time you stop.

The food is delicious. Great for a visit out to see the ocean. You can walk out to see the boats and enjoy the water. The view is amazing!! Would come back again. Order at the counter and sit on the deck to look at the boats. Host was very kind.

I walked in thinking I'd order something simple, but Jocelyn somehow anticipated exactly what I wanted before I even said it -- an oatmeal latte with honey infused right into the espresso. It was warm, silky, lightly sweet, and honestly one of the most thoughtful, dialed‑in drinks I've had anywhere. You can tell when someone really knows their craft, and she absolutely does. We also grabbed the curried chicken sandwich, which was fresh, flavorful, and the perfect balance of creamy and bright. It's the kind of sandwich that makes you pause mid‑bite and go, "Wait... this is really good." The whole place has that cozy‑local‑favorite energy -- friendly staff, great food, and the kind of coffee that makes you want to reroute your trip just to come back again. If you're driving through Freeport, Camden, or anywhere along the coast, Wild Oats is 100% worth the detour.

We tried the BLT and added chicken salad and the Grilled Corned Beef reuben and split. You get a bag of chips and pickles. We also got a side of the large pasta salad. It was mayo based but not heavy. It had olives which I dont really like but I could pick them out, didn't taste olivey. Inside is a bakery case. This place is touted as being the "working man's marina" and it really is - if you have a boat and come here often, you can create an account so that you don't have to carry cash or a card with you! How helpful is that!!? All of the baked goods are made by Judy and her biscuits are heavenly!!! I got the lobster biscuit and they asked if I wanted cheese and I was confused but GET THE CHEESE it will help make the sandwich melt in your mouth. The lobster is cooked into the egg and the cheese helps bind it and make it a little more savory. They have a candy area and while it's not a penny candy station (inflation) it's still fun to fill up a little bag of tootsie rolls and Swedish fish!!! And did I mention the ice creams and frappes?!? I didn't take a picture of my frappe because one sip in and it was half gone - that's how delicious it is!!! Their ice creams and milks are al locally produced and they are all tasty galore!!! You will not go wrong with any flavor but I highly recommend the maple!!! This is a must try when in the area!!!!
