Outdoor patio to sit outside (also indoor seating)

Wow! Amazing. We need to drive an hour to get to Boothbay and now we will have to do it again. The food scene in Boothbay is nothing to rave about but this place certainly is. As described in the other reviews, a gem to be sure. Got pho even though it was hot outside, incredible flavour. It was mostly just broth, noodles and beef and at first we said where's the veg, why so plain. But we were fighting over it and had it the next day for lunch when it was just as good. Didn't even want to eat meat that day but this beef, I don't know why, was addictive. Summer rolls, wonderful. Fried tofu in lemongrass, different and delicious. What really is great is this family and the service. How many times have you eaten at an expensive restaurant where they hand you the take out containers and walk away? This owner, as busy as she was, ran outside to pour our leftover soups into the containers. They work so hard and what a product they put out. Croissants! (great) Apple fritters (amazing). Thank you Baker's Way, you are special.

The most amazing little gem. The owner is so sweet and funny. Gives great recommendations and the place is always moving with the hustle and bustle.

I'm kind of amazed that I didn't write a review before of this amazing stop in Boothbay Harbor. It could have been we wished to keep it secret, but now we certainly want as many to know as possible. This was clearly our biggest surprise meal from anywhere in Boothbay, small shop at nearly the end of the downtown area. It wasn't even the easiest to make our order, but the service was wonderful and we had a perfect seat outdoors waiting maybe five minutes on the whole for the great plates to arrive. Trust me, they were truly awesome plates no question about it. Well above expectations and some of the best Thai flavorings Rebecca or I have ever had. So make sure you make a stop and sit outside LOL!

Couldn't find anywhere open to get some breakfast this morning and passing by a Good Samaritan in town they told us bakers way was a good spot to get some food. It's a quaint little spot in town to get a relatively good bit to eat, it is what it is and it's good food and service for what it is. It's not fancy or anything but the food is hearty and filling, I'm forever and optimist what can I say haha.

Lemongrass Tofu. Delicious but the Tofu wasn't fully cooked

We were visiting the area and having trouble finding any Vegan food to eat. My aunt took us here and it turns out that they have some tofu dishes. The Lemongrass Tofu was delicious, hot, filling and brought to us in a timely manner. Minus 1 star because the Tofu was under cooked. Beautiful outdoor flower garden to sit and enjoy the scenery and food.

Highly recommend for a great breakfast in town. The food is cheap with few options on the menu, but all food was prepared very well nonetheless. They offer omelettes, breakfast sandwiches and some sides, along with various juices and of course coffee(which by the way, was reallllly good). There is some seating inside, and a lot more seating outside. Some shaded areas to sit, along with a great view of the harbor. My wife and I enjoyed coming in this morning for a casual breakfast before hitting the road for the rest of our road trip!

The Bun Toi is outstanding. Also, that biggest donut you see, apple something or other, is worth its weight in gold.

A must stop when visiting! Bakery goods and the dishes are an A+. The outdoor patio is really nice and low key for lunch.

    The Holy Donut - Seasonal/LTO Flavor: Blueberry-Lemon cross-section ($4.75)

Visiting from out of town, 8:00am Saturday: no line, full selection, friendly and chill vibes…read more These donuts have a slightly chewy, dense texture that is very pleasant and not quite like any other baked good I can think of. The flavor doesn't hit you immediately but develops as you chew. A novel donut. Lemon, vanilla, and blueberry were my favorites. The whoopie pie donut tastes just like a whoopie pie, if that's your thing. I was a little disappointed in the sweet potato ginger -- I don't think I could have identified the flavors in a blind tasting, too subtle. But still tasty. Definitely recommend this spot for a different kind of donut experience.

I've Seen Better Glaze…read more Family-owned chain of donut shops that started off in a home kitchen driven with a dream and some Maine potatoes, and has turned into one of Downtown Portland's biggest foodie destinations. Holy Donut opened their first Portland location back in 2012, and they now have five locations around the state, including this DT location which is probably their busiest. The Good: *Vegan & Gluten-free offerings--but they're not synonymous! Check the fine print or ask. *Coast-to-Coast shopping options, including vending machines (we saw some at PWM). *Online ordering available for pickup. Tbh this is probably the way to get them, as you can skip the line and go straight to the back at the pickup window and just get your stuff right quick. You're welcome. *Donuts are made daily from scratch and feature seasonal and limited flavors. The Meh: *You'll most likely have to pay for parking at this DT location. *You'll also most likely encounter a large line to order from, depending on the time of day. When we walked by earlier before lunch it was HUGE, but after lunch it was down to manageable ±10 people ifo of us, and it did move pretty quick, as well. I mean, it is just donuts ffs. It shouldn't take you more than a few minutes to decide. The Ugly: *Pricing is a bit obscene at ±$5/ea, but it's to be expected in a extremely popular area full of tourists and cruises. *Take this with a grain of salt, as I'm very particular about donuts in general, but I found them to be very heavy and just OK. Also, the flavors could've been punchier, as I found the taste a little too muted for my liking. Conclusion: Definitely not worth a long wait or the price imo, but if you're in the area, the line is short, and you have $5 burning a hole in your pocket then I say go for it. Because, evidently, I'm in the minority judging by the popularity and reviews. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
