Quick stop for a sandwich! They have a wide selection of coffee and teas. Sandwiches already prepared in the cooler. Picked up a ham sandwich to go. It was great! They also have bakery items that looked really yummy! Someone try the lime and coconut cake and tell me how it was. It looked amazing!! If you are in a hurry this is a great quick stop! At 3:00 they serve wines!! read more

NO ICED COFFEE!?!?!? Otherwise coffee and baked goods are good. Sunny indoor area to sit and eat read more

I wish the new owners well -- and I am sure they are making real efforts, but after many visits over the past months, the transition has proved disappointing. The decades long run of this delicious bakery & market -- with true European flair -- is clearly over... Josh, the superb baker, is gone... While the menu is similar, it's noticeably not as toothsome... strangely, breakfast sandwiches are not available for breakfast -- they appear mid-morning... Treats is now just an "ok" American-style bakery, with nothing-special offerings and decor and a cartoony new logo.. I don't expect things to stay the same, but I really hope with time that Treats gets more of a tasty and tasteful groove back! (Hoping some honest feedback from a long time customer is helpful.) read more

We stopped here Saturday morning and left delighted with our coffees and our pastries. Treats stocks a variety of freshly baked pastries (all easily visible to the customer) and drip and craft coffee options. They also stock a rich variety of coffee beans, snacks, and more. Very helpful service and well-informed, too. On-street parking is no longer available in downtown Wiscasset, so park on the street adjacent to Treats or in their parking lot. Very cool spot! read more

his was our second trip to this cafe, having been here last year. I don't get all the raves. The offerings are OK but nothing special and prices are decent. On both visits the choices were negligible. We went earllier than last visit thinking we missed choices by going later in the AM, but no. The staff is pleasant. It looked like (but I cannot recall completely) that the side room had added tables and dining area. A lot of the miscellaneous goods other than the food appeared to be gone. Perhaps that is indicative of this location -unremembered. read more

Stopped in for pastries for the family: cardamom buns, almond croissant, and chocolate almond croissant. The cardamom buns were DELICIOUS -- not overly sweet, pleasantly cardamom-y, and even our picky eater loved them. The croissants were so-so. Too sticky-sweet in my opinion for a pastry item that should be more butter-forward, but pretty tasty anyway. My major qualm is that I paid $30 for four items, which seems outrageously expensive for the quality of the items. Even at Standard Baking in Portland doesn't charge that much, and their products are top notch. read more

Not sure how to feel after Stacy left, the coffee was honestly not so great this summer. But I'm hoping it will get better with time, once the season slows down. I have been coming to treats forever and ever and hope stays great. Would love if the new owners eventually bring back some more little "treats" in glass jars like you used to be able to get, man do I miss those cocoa dusted almonds I used to get in there! read more

Treats consistently entices with wonderful pastries, breads, breakfast and lunch items. Never fails! Brewed coffee and speciality drinks as well. The pantry items and wine add to a fantastic meal. The staff are delightful and efficient. Great combination! read more

Was a little disappointed in the lack of stock. I was expecting many more products than what was here, maybe because it's not quite the "tourist" season? I will say my cardamom iced latte was fantastic. Would stop in on a future trip with the hopes of there being more choices. read more

Treats is the best - I feel fortunate to live nearby! Their bakery items are always delicious and fresh, their staff is friendly and they have a wonderful assortment of other items there. My only problem when going is I want to buy everything there lol ! read more

I love Treats. Every time I'm anywhere nearby I'll stop in for a coffee or iced tea and a little snack. There is a small parking lot in the back and some street parking as well. The vibe inside is perfect. The staff are lovely. I recently tried a slice of their pizza which was on FOCACCIA! I was in love. It had fresh tomatoes, entire gloves of garlic and was ultimately perfect. I also have tried their gluten free muffins and was impressed. I recommend Treats to everyone! read more

While staying just up the road in Wiscasset my husband and I came to Treats every morning for our coffee. The staff was always extremely nice and the hot and iced coffees were on point each time. The food was hit or miss, but when it hit, it HIT HARD! The strawberry rhubarb crumble was amazing, but the lemon coffee cake was not good at all. We got a ham croissant one morning that was supposed to be warmed up, but I think it spent a little too much time in the toaster. If it hadn't been so crispy it would have been very delicious. The danishes were good all around. Their food selection changes every day, so you'll just have to see what's on the menu and hope for the best! read more

Coffee - or Hibiscus iced tea Swedish cardamom bun, sticky bun, blueberry scone, raspberry scone. All Amazing. Biscuit with homemade raspberry jam and a smattering of sweet butter - incredible. Add an amazingly friendly and warm group of individuals who work there. It was a wonderful way to start each morning - and a highlight of our recent weekend trip. Wishing them continued success read more

Treats is such a locals' favorite!! Everything is great, but two of the hidden gems is the small but very curated wine selection and their sandwiches in the cold case. Grateful to have such a nice place especially year round. read more

Do not pass go without stopping in for a treat! Fabulous scones! The breakfast sandwiches are delicious. Honestly, you can't go wrong here if you want homemade baked goods! read more

Such a cool place, love the communal table to enjoy the superb baked goods, and the staff were so nice. I had a scone--one of the best scones in my life. Sooo good, perfect texture and great flavor. Hubby had the focaccia bread-maybe it's really a pizza? Not sure, but the massive piece disappeared quickly. Did I consider going back to the counter to order more things-yes! After checking out the must-visit Rock Paper Scissors store, swing by Treats for something special. read more

This reminded me of an old general store, which was cool. However, I think they are trying to do too much. They can't decide if they are a bakery, coffee shop, or wine store. There was very little of any of those. read more

Treats is one of those places to schedule drives and trips around, and look at real estate within a reasonable radius of. It's a special place in every way, from the incredible coffee and pastries, to pastas and olive oil I've seen only in a small town in Puglia, Italy, to tea towels and porcelain goods you can buy for each family member. The incredible staff make everything feel like a warm, family run place that you just want to hang out in. In short, it's a treasure and touchstone of midcoast Maine. read more

This place is so amazing and truly fits into the town perfectly. The sandwiches and sweet treats were incredible. I ate here most mornings I was in town and every thing I had was goood read more

Walked in hungry Thursday at 1:45 and there was nothing to eat except cookies, pastries and bags of chips and pretzels. Told they SELL OUT of everything else by 12:30 daily. Really? NOTHING to eat? You should keep more food on hand or close your doors at 12:30! Or, no, maybe I should plan my day better so I can have the privilege of buying your food before you SELL OUT. My bad read more

The pizza is amazing! Great wine/cheese/pastry selection, cute gifts and friendly staff.

Delicious coffee, delicious pastries - both sweet and savory - and welcoming staff...visiting Treats is such a pleasure. The vibe is warm, friendly and down-to-earth, we love the community table. In addition to excellent baked goods they have a small but interesting selection of wines and gourmet food items (some local, some from away)...it's fun to linger and browse the shelves. read more

I visited treats on a recent trip to Maine. The town center was very busy that morning, but we managed to find free public parking on the street. We ordered a Cortado with an almond chocolate croissant. The cortado came out quickly, though it felt like there was a lot if foam to espresso. The almond croissant was pretty amazing. Crispy and flaky, with the perfect amount of sweetness in the center. The space inside was adorable, it felt like a gourmet shop with the added bonus of fresh coffee and of course - treats! I'll definitely make this a regular stop on our frequent trips to mid coast maine. read more

Treats is my favorite place to be. I have lived my life there and I can't imagine not having them. The vibe is perfected. The food is so outstanding it's borderline magical. It is elegant and never stuffy. I think it's the realest place. The prices are still fantastic. Its such a great spot to get a gift for literally anyone, and it's not overwhelming.Treats is genuine, they aren't trying to sell you on it. I love the owners and staff so much that I go there just to see them. I highly recommend it to anybody anytime except Mondays. they are closed. Thank you guys for the care and love you put into your business. Its a gift to get to be a customer there. read more

Treats is, well, a real Treat! I pronounced their chocolate almond croissant one of the best things I ever ate after having one. But then it was nearly surpassed by Treats' ham and cheese croissant! It was pretty much a meal in itself with a nice hint of dijon mustard inside with the filling. Their scones are wonderful because of the nicely crunch exterior and soft delicious inside. At Treats, you'll see they have muffins, slices of cake including one or two gluten free options, and one or more main items like macaroni and cheese and pizza. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is prices are a bit high. But then again, everyone's food costs have been rising for a while now. I've read one of the reviews from last Fall and I must say the staff is very friendly. Someone who appeared to be an owner thanked me very much for my compliments when I went in to look for a chocolate almond croissant one day. It turns out they have regular days for those (which I believe are Friday and Saturday) but that the bakers may randomly make them on another day if they choose to. read more

I can always count on Treats for fabulous baked goods. My only problem is making a decision -- everything is so enticing. The staff are friendly and helpful. I miss the former arrangement of the store that made it so much more appealing to sit at the long table and chat with neighbors. T he way it is set up now, I am not inclined to stay in the shop to enjoy my treat. read more

Great spot for coffee and light breakfast. Friendly service. Good food- breakfast sandwich, scones, muffins- all tasty. Only draw back is the price read more

I think this might be the best coffee shop bakery I've been to in midcoast Maine. The pasties are spectacular!

Cute place - great bakery items... However, despite multiple reviews to the contrary, DOES NOT have Whoopi pies!!! read more

Really nice ambience, good coffee but really disappointing croissant. Having seen their baked goods selection and heard they bake the best croissants in the area we picked up one plain and one almond croissant, both of which were dry, chewy and lacking the flaky crunch you expect from a good croissant. So all in all, a mixed bag. read more

Oh, you little slice of heaven you. From the case of New England cheese that welcomes everyone at the front door to your rustic-style desserts and artisan foods including old fashioned gummies and local chocolates to olive oil soaps and hard salamis. Beautiful. Heavenly. I want to curl up in the corner and spend the entire day with you. I fought the urge to order a cheese plate for one buy taking the healthy route and ordering a cup of my favorite soup - gazpacho. But this wasn't just any gazpacho. This was a green tomato almond gazpacho. This was a make-me-feel-fresh-and-good-all-day gazpacho. Had I more time, I would have pulled up a chair at the rustic table in the back filled with flowers. Thank you for the unexpected dose of happiness. You're lovely and I can't wait to return...for some cheese and a bottle of wine of the wall. read more

Super cute spot for coffee, pastries, wine, cheese, and assorted pantry items! I stopped by late afternoon, so I unfortunately missed out on any sandwiches. I only got two sparkling waters to drink while we waited in line at Red's Eats, but my short interaction with the cashier was pleasant! If anything, it's a great spot to peruse! read more

You can either wait in a huge line at Red's for a signature (and expensive) lobster roll, or you can walk down the street for a smallish market that serves baked sweet and savories, and a few lunch items. We had a very nice cheese tart square, an asian-ish noodle salad, and a cheese panini, and a very salty but original crackerbread, which was way too salty to eat by itself, but might be good with a hummus spread, something like that. Finished with a bread pudding. Everything is served on nice dishes. I wish there was a way to get a dab or two of the many cheeses in the wine and beer counter, or some salami (I think they had a stick there), but it was a nice place to sit and enjoy a light meal in a charming Maine village. read more

Such amazing breakfast treats! Weekends and whenever cereal won't do! Always a friendly staff, too!

I'm fussy when it comes to morning food. The biscuits here are so good I thought I was in the deep south.
