Stopped here on a Saturday and it was pretty busy. We had to wait for a a table for about 15 mins but they took our number and said they would call when the table was ready. They have a few tables and a bar. Our waitress was super sweet and very great! I got the breakfast sandwhich and it was good. My friends got the special for the day and the hash and they also enjoyed it. Great portion sizes for the price. Cute vibe. The only complaint I have is I like my home fries a little crispier! But overall I would come back!

Broadway diners offers a homey dining experience. While it is part diner, it also feels part cafe. The food offerings are more nuanced than you will find at your standard diner. I enjoyed the eggs with corn beef hash. The coffee was better than standard diner coffee. The atmosphere also more resembles a cafe. Server staff were pleasant and the food was filling. I would return and would also like to try to lunch.

A 4 star breakfast experience in Brunswick. The restaurant we wanted to go to is closed on Monday's so we decided to try this place out. Breakfast for 3 with two glasses of orange juice, 2 omelets, an egg sandwich and an order of blueberry pancakes was $55 without tip. I am assuming that is average price for Brunswick although not sure. From time we ordered to food being served was 20 minutes except for blueberry pancakes which took 25 minutes, and they were out of fresh squeezed orange juice so ordered other option (assuming supermarket Tropicana or similar). Quality of prepared food was good. Not sure we will return but overall a good experience.

A late bit of brekky. Blueberry Banana Walnut Pancakes with perfect scrambled eggs. Yes, there isn't a photo of the pancakes, but first the eggs: no wet or runnyness and not soaked in melted butter. Perfectly fluffy and light. Scrambled should never be a food that can make bread soggy or greasy. This place can teach more than a few places how to make scrambled eggs. Now for the Pancakes of the gods! Perfectly fluffy and slightly spongey to absorb the real maple syrup they provide you. The fresh blueberries have swelled so they pop in your mouth when you bite into them. The banana slices are intact yet blend in as a creamy texture to counter the toasty, crunchiness of the plentiful walnuts. If you find yourself in Brunswick, Maine and don't eat breakfast or lunch at The Broadway Deli (really a diner), you are doing yourself a disservice.

I can't begin to explain how delicious the gluten-free fruit and nut bread is I don't miss what's left out the bacon is crispy home fries had every vegetable on top from broccoli to onions. The atmosphere is great I did get takeout allowed me to keep myself safe however I would feel comfortable eating outside do you have a great area. I will definitely be back here soon

I hadn't been here for a long time. But it sure won't be a long time before I return! Everything was a 10. Soft butter. Check out that bacon - so good, cooked to perfection. The blueberry pancakes are amazing. So many blueberries, but it's the batter that sets them apart. They make their own batter which makes these cakes light and delicious. Service was quick, friendly and first rate. An outstanding experience at the Broadway Deli. Cash only!

I've lived in Brunswick over 15 years and found this little slice of Heaven today. The food is Fresh and flavorful!!! I am what my family and friends would call a food snob but this place here!! Is yummmy

    It is busy in here!

This place needs some love in the review section? 3 and a half stars?! Cmon... this place is a hidden gem in downtown Brunswick. Friendly and attentive staff, fantastic breakfast food, cozy ambience. Love it. They're busy for a reason. The service and food is great. Nestled right in downtown Brunswick, this is a great choice for a morning coffee, eggs and bacon.

It's wasn't until I saw someone emerge from the double doors to the left of the roll-down that I realized that the business was open. Not that they need any help getting people inside (it was HOPPING) but a sandwich board outside perhaps would show that the business is open inside? I went in and immediately everyone was friendly and chipper. Ordering was simple enough but be prepared, they sell through some things, understandably as this place is very popular. I got an espresso and a toasted herb bagel with plain cream cheese. Ive been all over Bath, Brunswick, Rockland, and Camden and was convinced that the New Englander's palates were shot. Not a single business has served me a decent espresso. Not a single one until I stopped at Dutchman's. FINALLY a bright, clean shot that doesn't taste like someone put a cigar out in it. Everyone needs to take notes. THEN we get to the bagel....didn't think I was about to have the best bagel of my life, yet here I am. Light, toasted, slightly chewy but not heavy... jeez. Can we talk about the space? It's gorgeous. Airy, cool, industrial...but the people running it make it feel homey. We can talk about the restaurant they're putting in next door too but let's be realistic, if they use any of the blueprint they're currently operating off of, they're not going to have any issues (Omg the pizza oven!) The view alone will stop you in your tracks. I'm all in on Dutchman's. I bought the merch. I have a tee shirt and a beanie and the only reason I don't have a hoodie is because they were sold out in my size. What else is there to say... 10/10 No notes.

The space is very unique, a very comfortable, open place to enjoy some coffee and a bagel. The bagels were decent for the area, but not my favorite type of bagel (a little bready). I thought it was a little pricey for what I got, but with a line as long as it was, Dutchman's can justify the prices. I'm picky when it comes to bagels, so my rating is reflective of that. I am of the opinion that New York/New Jersey bagels are the pinnacle of the bagel world, and the further away from New York you get, the harder it is to find somewhere that gets close to meeting that standard. I'd still stop by if I'm in town again, as long as I get there before the big morning rush. Not sure it would be worth the 20+ person line.

We were given a 15 minute wait which was quickly cut to 5 minutes by a friendly front-of-house worker, but that was the end of the good experience. We were immediately given coffee and water, coffee is bottomless, but $2.50 and served before seeing the menu, which can be annoying if you're used to your diner coffee coming with breakfast. We both ordered the cheap breakfast combo, which was $10 + $2 additional charge for your choice of meat. Our eggs were undercooked, (runny whites) our toast was burnt, my hash-browns were cold and clearly from a freezer bag. My additional $2 earned me 2 very thin slices of bacon. We were not impressed by the food, but I was downright annoyed when the $24 bill I expected arrived at a smooth $32. In our bill they included a fun hidden 1% service fee for the "back of house" which I incorrectly assumed would not be needed considering the existence of payroll... To top off my frustrations the servers were loud behind the counter the whole time we were there, and the suggested tips on the receipt started at 20%!! - What an insult to the customers intelligence. These are Sysco scammers trying to take about 30% more than the customer wants to pay at every turn for extremely poor quality breakfast food. Should have cooked in the airBnB, would have saved money and had a more satisfying experience.

Luckily, there were only about five people ahead of us, and the line moved quickly. The person taking our order immediately made us feel welcome. Even with a busy morning crowd, they took their time with everyone and treated each customer like they were the only one there. That kind of genuine friendliness is something you don't forget. The atmosphere is unlike any coffee shop I've been to. Every wall has something different to look at, quirky artwork, funny signs, vintage pieces, random collectibles, a mannequin dressed in sunglasses and boots, even a life-size Tom Cruise hanging out on the patio. I found myself constantly looking around because there was something interesting in every direction. One of my favorite touches was the self-serve coffee station. You grab a mug from the wall instead of a paper cup. I picked one with a cool Abraham Lincoln wearing a backwards baseball cap while sipping coffee, which perfectly matched the café's fun personality. There were several coffee choices, and I ended up trying two. Refills are available for a small fee. For breakfast, I ordered one of their brioche breakfast sandwiches with the meat of the day, which was brisket. The brisket was tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the soft brioche bun. I also ordered a toasted jalapeño bagel with jalapeño shmear. It comes sprinkled with Tajín but got mine on the side. While I usually enjoy Tajín, it was just a little much for me first thing in the morning, so next time I'd ask for it without. The jalapeño shmear itself was delicious. After eating, we took our coffee outside to enjoy the patio. The colorful mural covering the building, beautiful flower pots, and relaxed seating made it a great place to sit and slow down for a while. Dog Bar Jim isn't just a place to grab breakfast, it's one of those places with real personality. Great food, excellent coffee, genuinely kind service, and an atmosphere that's fun, creative, and impossible to forget. If you're anywhere near Brunswick, it's absolutely worth the stop.

Looking to have a nibble and a mocktail or cocktail with friends? The Abbey has it (and more). The vibe: relaxed, warm, mid-modern meets minimalism, gorgeous stained glass windows, lots of natural light pouring in, the most comfortable seats you've ever sat in at a high top, lots of wood and greenery, a playlist that makes you stop and lean in. It's a cozy place that makes you want to stay a while. The drinks: I tried an iced cardamom latte with oat milk and it was fantastic (if you've ever had the vanilla cardamom cold brew coffee from Trader Joe's, it was an elevated version of that). I've also had a couple cocktails - since they make their syrups in house when they run out, they run out and your drink might be unavailable... BUT the staff is exceptional at making alternate recommendations and even making totally off menu drinks entirely! The food: Several (clearly labeled) vegan options! We tried the muhammara (a housemade dip topped with spiced walnuts, chickpeas, and three half slices of toasted sourdough) and the hummus plate (housemade and topped with marinated chickpeas and a drizzle of olive oil, accompanied by six naan wedges). LOVE the quantity of both dips, but wish there was some other dipping vessel outside of (the sometimes stodgy) bread. A little heap of rainbow veggies would be amazing! While the muhammara was a bit more liquidy than I've had elsewhere, the hummus was thicker than I was expecting. Solid shareable options regardless! (Grab a seat, order at the counter, and they'll call your name when your drinks are ready so you can go grab them; if you've ordered food, they'll bring that to your table. It was confusing what the clean-up situation was, several of us just sort of walking back to the bar with our plates and cups.) Excited to return again!
