And the Tacos al Carbon were amazing!! Literally the best we've ever had - including at some of the best NY restaurants. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that it took almost an hour to get our food. We came New Year's eve for lunch so it became busy, but I wish the management had planned better and not just had one server (later they added a second). Def eat here!

We got there ariund 4pm on a Saturday. It was 4th of July, but we were able to find street parking. And because it was a holiday, we didn't have to pay for parking! When we walked in, the bar was prettyfull, but there were plenty of high tops by the bar that were open. They have 3 TVs set up in the bar area, playing the soccer games. We got there at the perfect time. Our server came and took our drink orders. I went with a classic guava margarita, which I really enjoyed. We ordered tacos, carne and birria and the mixed pupusas. Everything was really good with great flavor. I was very impressed. We stayed for most of the game, and it got pretty busy. They also have a dining area in the back, which also has tvs set up. I would definitely come back and try other options on the menu. This will be a go to in Frederick for sure! Great place for food, drinks, and to watch the games.

They have an amazing protein meal that I'll have to get next time. We all had a great time and I highly recommend this great place.

They're good, strong, and very reasonably priced. They also run a lot of specials -- both drink specials and food specials -- which is always nice if you're looking for variety or a good deal. They seem to have a rotating group of staff, and some servers are more knowledgeable than others, but everyone has always been attentive and friendly. I was stuffed and had leftovers which was still so tasty the next day. It's a very small and understated space. But even though our server was the only one facing the customers, he was very attentive and checked in on our table several times during our meal. This was good experience and I would've given it five stars if they did something more with the decor. Good food and good service always deserves props.

The ambience is nice and homely, nothing too complicated but more than enough space for a family dinner. Beautiful decorations inside that celebrate El Salvador. Everyone who works there is super sweet and make sure all your needs are met and explain the menu very well. The pupusas are nuts and huge, stuffed to the brim overflowing with cheese and whatever topping you picked. They are so hot and fresh they could sear your lips off genuinely. You watch them cook it fresh on a large stove/ grill and bring it to you in baskets. The cheese they use is salty and delicious and we reallly enjoy the lorroco, jalapeños, and spinach add ins. Don't skip on the sides, their yuca fries are super crispy and thick and I love the crema and plantains. The plantains are almost caramelized and have a decadent sweetness to them that goes so well with the crema. The refried beans are also amazing! Definitely best pupusa spot in Frederick and they are so generous with the stuffing.

Well, we were sorely disappointed in what arrived. Including a picture of my Lengua taco. I asked for no onions but keep the cilantro and add cheese and tomato's. It did not have 1/2 of what was described (no cheese, no avocado, and only a mouthful of rice!). Additionally the eggs were supposed to have "peppers, onions and tomatoes" in them. The peppers were JALAPEÑOS! Loaded. Almost an inedible joke. And, they forgot to send the pupusa I ordered.... Again, very sad. Never again. I can't justify a second chance based on what they served.
