I've been going to Atlantic grille for several years now and the quality and the service have remained excellent throughout said years. I think I've been to Atlantic grille 6 times this year--it's just that good. They offer a pick-2 lunch specials and I recommend either the Chicken Sandwich or Chicken Wings with Onion Rings. For entrees I enjoy the All American Burger, Fries Chicken Sandwich, Caesar Salad, or, if in a larger group, their pizza is especially good. They have a dining room and a separate bar area--very fitting and continuous in theme. Will be back for more soon! read more

Last Thursday (07.16.2026) I had made arrangements with Atlantic Grill to have a luncheon after my brother's funeral. I wanted a place where we could enjoy sharing stories and have a bite to eat. I had told Natalie at Atlantic Grill I was guessing there would be around 20 people. A funeral is not something you get an RSVP to. I preordered food from the AG catering menu, enough for around 20-25 people. Well, I was delighted that over 50 people attended the funeral and around 40 people came to the luncheon. Natalie and her staff made immediate adjustments to the seating and the amount of food that was prepared. I can not say enough how amazing the entire staff was! The food is fine, but nothing special. I got the chicken quesadilla, and it was just chicken and cheese in a tortilla. Fine for a kid's item but otherwise boring. The crab soup was good, but nothing special. I would put this on par with most chain restaurants. Since I don't believe it is a chain, that's disappointing. read more

Ask if they change their pizza. I was told know but that was not true. you use to get premium pizza at a premium price. Now you get a very mediocre pizza but you still have very premium prices. Don't waste your money , get Dominos. Same quality and you will save yourself a lot of money. read more

Met a friend here for Sunday brunch. We were seated promptly at about 11am, no reservation needed. They had their normal lunch menu and an extra one with the breakfast selection, but I was feeling more lunch type food. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and I got the fish and chips for my entree. I'm not exactly sure what the flavor was in the batter of the fish that I wasn't a fan of, but I think the beer flavor was a little too strong for me. The food was good, not great, but the service was noteworthy. Another addition to our places we are going back to soon list. (yes, that list is growing) The appetizers were amazing. The potato wedges (they call them skins) were awesome--the right mix of potato and toppings. The pretzel sticks were also perfect, and the cheese sauce was out of this world. For food, other than the appetizers, we had two directions in the selection process. The first selection was pizza. Greek (I know, shocking) Pepperoni and Bacon Both were pronounced great! I went with the Fish and Chips, also shocking as it is my go-to. The food was perfect. Sadly, the desert was even better. We did the caramel apple dessert; I do not remember a dessert I enjoyed more. They have indoor and outdoor dining when the weather allows which are both wonderful. Our server was absolutely fantastic and patient with our daughter. Despite being busy, she gave a personal experience to each table. Food was decently good and on par between price and plate size. It was relatively quiet and they have plenty of dining space. Had the Tuna appetizer and mango salmon dinner. Salmon was very good. Hubby and I visited for a date night on a Friday evening. Being our first time (and because I had something booked afterwards), I made a reservation but upon arrival realized that probably wasn't necessary. To be fare, it was pouring all day. We were quickly seated and Brianna (I think that was her name) introduced herself to us. She was super sweet and attentive and offered suggestions when i asked. We ended up getting fried calamari, old bay wings, crab cakes and mussels. I tasted everything but the mussels. Here's where preferences plays a part: I thought everything was seasoned nicely, hubby thought it was bland. Hubby also usually eats Keto (high sodium in my opinion), so there's that. Date night dinner ran us about 100.00 (including a martini & cream rum) which is quite impressive for all that we got. Overall, we'd go back. Their pizza selections look awesome so I can't wait to try that. read more

Oh, the irony--my son's fiancee and I went there last night and darned if we didn't have my "usual" server again! (And darned if I still didn't get her name but one of her small tattoos is of angel wings on her left forearm. She was great last night, too). UPDATE: double checked my receipt. Her name is Millie. :-) Anyhoo...I have now tried their French Onion soup. Of the 12 restaurants where I've completed my "quest" to try it, I'd rank theirs third best--it was very tasty! I also had their chicken/bacon/crab sandwich (minus probably one slice of the bread) and my son's fiancee had the penne rose which she really liked--I tried a bite and thought it was a little bland. I also got a meal to go for my other son and I REALLY like that when they give you a choice of two sides, you can choose any of their sides, including their premium ones, at no upcharge. Great neighborhood bar and restaurant. I mainly eat appetizers in the bar on Sundays (half price in the bar); however, I have dined in the restaurant on occasion. The food is consistently good. They have a steady pace of customers coming and going and many regulars in the bar. My 90-year old father is one of the "regulars" there as it is a close drive and he can get a good meal. We ventured into this place for the first time. We knew they were open as there were a few folks seated outside. Sitting in a booth in the AC was preferred on this hot hot day. Only one other booth was occupied as we waited patiently for our drink order. After about ten minutes the hostess came over to explain the waitress was busy elsewhere and so she took our drink order. Sweet Raspberry Ice Tea for me and Unsweet Ice Tea for my lady-friend (my lovely wife-lol). We were ready to order when the drinks arrived but alas, it would be another ten to place our order with the "busy" waitress. While waiting to place our order for entrees I constructed this series of knots in my straw paper - pretty nice huh? I thought to start out with their MD Cream of Crab but as you can see I mistakenly ordered their MD Crab Vegetable, it was very good with the two crackers supplied. ENTREES: Flank Steak Chimichurri for me and for the two sides I went with Thai Chili Brussels Sprouts and their Battered Onion Rings. My lady-friend (my wife of 44 years) ordered their Steak Burrito of diced flank steak with rice, mixed cheese, onions, peppers and house made chili. All wrapped up in a flour tortilla with melted cheese, served with guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo on the side. We loved the Sprouts! My wife loved their Onion Rings, I ate two. Her Burrito was delicious, my wife also liked my Steak Chimichurri, I ate some. I asked her for another bite of her Burrito to fill the nooks-and-crannies of my hungry tummy. The Raspberry Lemon Cake was brought in from a specialty baker known around the world. It was so good with my coffee and her hot tea. read more

I went to brunch with a group of ladies at this establishment, and I was not impressed. The food was not the best. Maybe they're having a bad day, or they're just not good with brunch food. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and a coffee, and the only thing good that I can say about my dish was that it was pretty to look at. I love Eggs Benedict, and I would order it all of the time when I lived in Boston. So, I was super excited to order it because, not everyone can get this dish right. This one was the worst. It was cold, and the Canadian Bacon looked and tasted more like a thick slab of ham, not pork loin. The Hollandaise Sauce tasted like it had a little too much Dijon Mustard or regular Mustard (I don't think Dijon Mustard was used honestly). I didn't even eat all of my food. My home fries were cold and had no flavor at all. Even with a piece of onion that happened to be on the plate it was still bland, no seasoning. I'm from the south, and we cook "home fries" with onions, and season them to perfection. I ordered wheat toast, and the bread didn't look like it was toasted. Our waiter, Brendan did his best to keep up with our group. The critique or feedback I would give to him is, to "read the room and actions of his guests." If your guests are gathering and various individuals stand to speak, don't walk up to the table and start asking people if and what they would like to order. Especially, when they are listening to someone speak. It's rude and inconsiderate of your guests. At least say, "excuse me," and whisper to folks quietly to take orders. Also, several people ordered bacon, and it was sent out looking like a pile of old bacon that had sitting for a while. They did their best, but I guess better luck next time. read more

This is the neighborhood go-to spot for so much of the Urbana neighborhood. The bar is extremely popular, and definitely has a Cheers-type vibe! We like to eat outside, and they have really nice outdoor seating. (It's covered; there is a nice breeze, and there are even fans to keep things cool. We were there on a 90 degree day, and it was so cool and comfortable on the patio! We had Brunch, which is served from 11 am-2 pm on Saturdays and 10-2 pm on Sundays. The Brunch menu is extensive. We had a frittata (which came with two sides) and Eggs Benedict. We had all that plus a coffee, and the bill amounted to under $25 with tax! Amazingly affordable, and great food! Their lunch and dinner menus are extensive also. This is a popular place for groups, too--especially on their wine special nights. Atlantic Grille also is a convenient stop for carry out.
