So glad we stopped here for lunch. We're not big pizza eaters but we got the veggie pizza and it was very good. I like this kind of crust that's not too bready. The food at Atlantic Grill is always so good. My girlfriends and I go there for happy hour on Tuesday's (great deal at the bar). The salads are splendid, the drinks are delicious, the potato wedges are homemade goodness- not something out of the freezer. Usually when I go, if I don't get a salad, I'll get a burger. This is our go to place when we don't feel like cooking and don't want to venture far or wait an hour. Atlantic Grill has a good variety of food and everything we have ordered has been very tasty. I love their burgers. My husband likes the quesadillas. But you can't really go wrong. They are also relatively quick to turn an order around. The service is always nice. Made an online ToGo order for a pizza. Pepperoni, extra cheese, mushrooms, and sausage. With notes in TWO places. "Put mushrooms and sausage on opposite halfs" I knew I should have looked at it before I left. I called and was told to BRING IT BACK... WTH.... I don't order ToGo so I can spend that much time on food prep/pick up. The pizza is awesome but "Special" orders, that aren't "Special" they do fail on. My wife wanted to try Atlantic Grille after some recommendations from friends. We got a reservation and put the address in the GPS. It was a good thing that we left early because we ended up in a neighborhood. The restaurant was in the strip mall next to the neighborhood. Decided not to keep the reserved table and sit at the bar so I could watch the football game. The atmosphere in the bar was very friendly. We were told by other patrons that there was a table at the back of the bar. The service was good and really friendly. The food was good and the drinks were strong, and we had a good time. read more

Stopped in today at 3 for a quick bite. Was seated and handed a menu by a non-English speaking worker, who couldn't understand when I said I only had 30 min to order and eat so I just wanted a bowl of soup. Ten minutes passed and no one acknowledged me. I made the decision to leave, knowing I would not make my 3:30 appointment at this point. I mentioned to the hostess on my way out that I had been there 10 minutes and had not been approached by a server. She literally turned her back on me and walked away. Love this place! We are building a house in Urbana and have been here 3 times after appointments with the builder. The service has been consistently awesome! Keshia especially has been friendly and provides excellent service. The owner popped out and welcomed us to the neighborhood and all the locals have chatted with us and introduced themselves. The food has been great and they have half priced beer on Tuesdays. We love it! read more

Saturday, February 19, 2022. I had an appointment to pick up my glasses (business next door to the Atlantic Grille). I was hungry and thought I'd stop in and have my first eat in restaurant meal since COVID rate is low. What a huge disappointment! The waitress was inattentive (Jill), the bar drink I ordered was barely warm (coffee/bailey irish cream), and the Cobb salad chicken was a microwaved piece of chicken (not even warm). The waitress never stopped by to ask if I wanted something else to drink or how my dish was. Really? This was the third time I've patronized this restaurant; it will be the last. I'd give it a big 0 rating if I could. read more

A co-worker told me about her dining experience at the Atlantic Grille so I decided to go there for dinner one night. DHand I dined here May 21st, 2014 and had a very good meal. I ordered the evening special: Scallops "Provencal" ($19.99). There were seven medium sized fresh seared scallops, in which they were topped with a rich and tasty bacon-tomato-butter wine sauce. I chose the rice pilaf and Caesar salad as my two sides. Everything was delicious and filling. DH had the king cut prime rib served with au jus (Wednesday night feature for about $24); along with onion rings and the Caesar salad. It did look like the prime rib was pre-cooked and re-warmed (not the ideal way to serve prime rib), but DH really enjoyed it; I tasted it and it was tender and flavorful. Wednesday night features 1/2 price bottles of wine, so we chose a Pinot Grigio. I met Nathan (he manages their FB page), as I was posting on FB my food photos to the restaurant's page. We talked for a few minutes and he appreciated my photos and comments. Our server was Billy and he was friendly and attentive. My only negative comment is the noise level, but Nathan told me they are working out the problem. There's a wall that divides the dining room and bar area (top half is glass or plexi-glass). We were eating dinner during a trivia game so the bar was quite loud. They plan to add a door or somehow seal off the area so that the dining room can have a quieter atmosphere. Overall, a very nice dinner with very food and reasonable prices. Looking forward to going back for dinner, even for lunch. read more

Love everything on the menu but my favorite is the chicken wrap. Truly delicious. I definitely recommend them for sure.

I haven't tried the sit down experience yet, but I ran in quickly the other night to try a take out pizza. Their pizza is Mama Lucia (the same as the restaurant in Frederick). They make it in house and apparently own both restaurants. It was delicious! I would definitely do the pizza again and plan to go back to sample more of the menu in the near future. read more

We've been twice, once for brunch and once for dinner. Brunch was by far the better of the two meals, which we ate in the bar. Bar service was fast, and food was pretty good, at decent prices. I liked my eggs benedict. The bartender was friendly and it was a laid back and enjoyable experience. Would have given three or four stars if that was our only experience, and I suggest checking out their brunch! Dinner falls flat. We ate in the dining room where they are going for a more upscale vibe. The night we went it wasn't very busy but the service was slow, and not bad but not enthusiastic. The real issue is that they are trying to go for upscale steak and seafood with upscale prices, but the food just doesn't deliver. Nothing was bad, but nothing special. read more

I had the pleasure of dining at the Atlantic Grill today for the first time. I am pleased to say that the family friendly atmosphere of the restaurant is evident from the moment that you walk through the door. The entire staff including the hostess were delightful. My waiter was polite and attentive to our large party. I had the pretzel rods with the Sam Adam's Beer cheese sauce and they were both prepared to perfection. The pretzels were cooked to just the right texture, not to hard and not too soft, perfect for dipping. The pretzels were garnished with green onions that made them stand out from others I have had in the past. The cheese was a nice consistency and was a delicious appetizer. I ordered the Chicken Marsala and I will tell you I am glad that I did. The chicken was again cooked and seasoned perfectly. The mushrooms were not overwhelming and enhanced the dish as a whole. I had a side of the broccoli which turned out to be a great combination with the juices of the marsala. My server was a dashing young man with a nice smile and a friendly, warming personality. I am ecstatic that I finally decided to eat here because I will for sure be back. read more

Not memorable. $6 house side salad: some iceburg lettuce, 1 (yes exactly 1) tiny grape tomato sliced in half and exactly 1 slice of cucumber. Really?? For $6 a plate of iceburg lettuce??? $12 for fish and chips. Fish was definitely frozen, not fresh. Waitress explained they get them already breaded. I had to write a review for this restaurant as I feel like places like this need to go away or step up their game. I felt cheated by the whole experience. Deceptively upscale looking restaurant disguising a middle school cafeteria. After ordering, we were offered what were described as "dinner rolls". I nearly shattered my grill on these rock solid torpedoes of death. For our main meal we ordered the seafood platter, fish and chips, and 2 kids pizzas. The seafood platter was minuscule, bland, and way too expensive. That was the ongoing theme for the rest of this meal. Garbage food at premium prices. The fish and chips looked and tasted straight of the box from Giant's freezer section. (It is practically next door). The kids barely touched the "pizza". Their desserts consisted of a snack pack and a bag of Oreos (I'm assuming they picked these up on the same Giant run). I wouldn't have minded the $60 tab if the food was at least tolerable. The only bright side was the good service. Not enough for me to ever consider returning there. read more

I really never feel the need to come here again. We stopped by on the way home from Costco. The Munchkin's (Kraft) Mac n cheese set us back $8. The drink order was taken almost right away, but it was taken three times. As we waited for drinks, three different staffers put off taking our food order; it was about 20 minutes before anyone actually took our food order. And it wasn't busy, only 6 tables were occupied. The food here was spectacular I had the chicken Chesapeake it was amazing perfectly seasoned and just delicious. For sides I had the.Brussel sprouts which are cooked in a Thai chili sauce and they are great I usually hate brussel sprouts but tried them on the servers recommendation and they were awesome, rice pilaf was great too. The crab pretzel as an appetizer was delicious also had the Cream Of crab soup very creamy with lots of crab. My girlfriend had the florentine pasta that was one of the weekly specials and it was really delicious. Will definitely be back food was borderline orgasmic. I don't even give yelp reviews but was so satisfied with my dining experience I was driven to give a review and let everyone know about this place. So, I think I may be being generous by giving this place two stars... The service was TERRIBLE. This guy had no idea what he was doing and he was either over attentive or under attentive. The food was TERRIBLE. I ordered the oyster sandwich and the oysters were cooked really funny. And, to top it off, there was a hair or cooking brush bristle on my sandwich. They definitely don't know how to do the dining room, particularly for their price point. read more

Had dinner here for the first time on a Saturday night. I made a reservation using Open Table and we (party of 4) were seated promptly. Nice looking place, but loud. Lots of exposed brick and nothing to break up the sound. So the good was the food. Local ribeye special was cooked a perfect medium rare. Beef brocket was good also. The bad was the service. Our server was fine, but the service was slow. To be fair, apparently it was homecoming for the local high school and there was a party upstairs. We saw a lot of good looking food go by destined for upstairs while we were waiting for our dinner. I will go back but maybe not on such a busy night. read more

I have mixed emotions about our Atlantic Grille experience. We popped in for lunch after visiting a local petting farm and for the most part enjoyed our meals. My caesar salad was pretty yummy and the chicken and shrimp pasta was also pretty good. My son had the child's pizza which I found completely flavorless but he didn't complain. Of the other people in our party, the burgers were reported as being decent as well as the crab soup. I think the problem here is the service. It's just not very friendly at all. The lady we had was just super dry and very short with everyone. They just seemed like they had better places to be which amounted to a weird vibe, I guess. Oh well, I guess this place served its purpose overall. We don't live super close so I probably won't go out of my way to eat here again. read more

Had to get up to get her attention. The sweet potato fries are good, but you get what I consider a very meager portion for $4. Suggestion to restaurant ... charge $5 and double the portion. Stopped in this restaurant for a quick dinner while my son was at soccer practice. I was not impressed. My husband and I were pressed for time, so we could not be picky. The food was below average. My husband ordered the personal pizza and I ordered chicken with sweet potatoes. The presentation of the food was poor and the taste was average. On a positive note, the complimentary bread was warm and satisfying. Unfortunately, we will not return but wish the restaurant the very best. read more

Two of us ordered ribs. Both of the rib eaters were quite happy with their orders. Both onion rings and fries were good, according to the rib-eaters. I had the half order of the tomato & mozzarella flatbread/salad, and shared some of the fried rice special with shrimp, which was savory with a hint of spicy. I did like the flatbread better. Neither the bar menu nor the dessert menu should be overlooked. I would recommend the cheesecake or the peanut butter/chocolate pie (which tastes like a Reese's), but the cheesecake was definitely my favorite. read more
