Cheese Steak Sub

Great cheesesteak!! Mozzarella addition was genius. Large sub was big and a great price, definitely coming back here

I ordered a cheesesteak to go. The young man that took my order over the phone was very polite and did not rush me when I asked a couple of questions. He recommended that I get the 12" as opposed to the 8" (and he was right). The prices are really good with the current economy. The 12" cheesesteak was about $10.50 and was ready within 20 mins of me placing the order. The inside is very small and has traditional neighborhood pizzeria style booths inside for those that want to eat their hood there. The inside appeared clean and everyone was very friendly.

Two pizzas. Should have been Dijourno. Would have saved me some money.

I ordered delivery. It was prompt, no issues there. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, and a meatball pizza. It was just mediocre. It tastes like a frozen pizza. This is not fresh dough. The more I type, the more I think they're made ahead. For $40+ for two pizzas, I expected more. Not inedible, but not worth it either.

Great authentic food, nice close neighborhood location, quick service, their chicken cheese steak is the best value in the area!

Can't get a simple order correct. Had to throw out the whole meal. Won't be going here ever again.

Food is barely average. Prices are high. Added an unmentioned surcharge for paying with ATM card. The place is not what it used to be.

The special I ordered (pictured) was easily one of the best dishes I've had in a long time, and honestly every single thing we ordered was delicious. This meal went above and beyond perfection. We got there a little before noon and already had 3 cars ahead of us waiting for them to open -- the second those doors opened, people were lining up fast. They had plenty of tables and service was so quick. Once we were seated, things moved quickly: menus right away, water and drinks out fast, and service that stayed genuinely attentive the whole time. I didn't even get close to finishing my drink before they were already checking if I wanted a refill. All of our meals came with soup and salad, and the pasta fagioli was amazing -- I'm not usually a fan of celery in it, but it was still so flavorful. They also have an impressive dessert menu, but we were way too stuffed to even think about it. Next time we're definitely leaving room for dessert! Highly recommend -- go early, it's worth the wait!

Additionally, we tried a wine cup and let me tell you, it was so delicious.

Oddest part was while we sat there - there was a 2 top table free almost the whole time we were eating. So - we could have easily been waited on in a normal setting. Nice place overall - different areas to sit, outside dining, etc etc. Service however was atrocious. It may be the fact they don't have enough people in the wait staff, but our waitress was as absent as it gets. Asked for a refill, took forever - after ordering appetizer it would have been good to then put in our entree order - but wasn't until the pizza came out 25 min later that we could do that. Asked for bread, she remembered after our entrees came out 45min after ordered - 4 small cubes. You would think when you're struggling at waiting on a table, you'd try and make up for it. Pizza was good. We got a Margherita pizza - standard and fresh as we watched them make it. For my entree I got the penne vodka and added a meatball. Lol. No sauce on that meatball and it was cold. Flavor was good on entree. The next time the waitress came back I begged for the check - to which we paid and got out of there as "quick" as we could. Food 4/5 Service 1/5

Saturday evening dinner while in the area. Parked the next block over and walked in. We don't have…read morereservations but we were given a tip to come around 6:30pm for a table of 2. We took a table in the rear enclosed patio area near the bar. To start we ordered the meatball sliders. Two come with an order and they were good. I liked the toasted slider rolls, the tangy sauce and the spiciness of the meatball. Recommend cutting it in half to eat it without it flying out of the roll. Overall a good start. I ordered the gnocchi primavera which really wasn't in the traditional sense - as the vegetables were puréed together into an orange sauce. Had a good flavor and was served with burrata. Starters and entrees came out very close to each other which wasn't a bad thing. We also added a margherita pizza to share which looked weird - but tasted great. Nice crisp to the crust and thin. I usually think of a doughier crust with this kind of pizza but still good. Dessert was the fudge cake - rich in flavor, adding a coffee. Overall - would have loved to sit inside and get that experience but still good considering we didn't have a reservation. Our waiter - younger guy out back we good, though at times we leaned on the other bartender to help get refills.

Yes, Fratelli's is very good…read more I was wonderfully surprised at a recent dinner for 2 at Fratelli's. We started with a lemon drop martini - delightful. The cream of crab soup was top notch - a bowl would have been a meal in itself. Then came a salad big enough for 4 (delicious) and fresh out of the oven bread (enough for 4 also). The chicken breast with crabcake was massive and very tasty. The veal parm was sooooooo tasty and also massive. We have at least 2 more meals each. We each had a wonderful chocolate martini as dessert. The service was attentive and helpful. The food came out quickly but we were not rushed. The price? To me, unbelievable (in a very good way).

Begin with the salad. Everyone enjoyed the salad dressing, and the salad was a nice starter. Not a huge amount but enough. The bread was disappointing. Was not made inhouse, otherwise, I'd change as it tastes mass produced. Slightly overdone, too. Buttering the bread, while nice, did not help with flavor. I would prefer a separate container with the butter to butter the bread. The bread was average. The seafood alfredo was very nice. I enjoyed the large portion I received. The only drawback on the homemade fettuccine is it was slightly undercooked. Not al dente, undercooked. I can forgive it as it was good. The crabcake was also good and everyone who had it or sampled raved about it. The potatoes that came with that dish were meh. I wasn't a fan of them when I got to try one. The seafood platter was well liked. One side dish was butternut squash that everyone sampled and enjoyed. This place is worth visiting with service like we received and the food.

But after hearing good things, I figured it deserved a second chance -- and this time it delivered. I ordered an apple martini, which was really tasty, and the fettuccine Alfredo with added chicken and shrimp. The dish initially came out with just shrimp, but when I mentioned the missing chicken, they handled it kindly and quickly. They let me keep my pasta and brought out a nicely grilled piece of chicken topped with Alfredo sauce. It ended up being very flavorful and satisfying. My friend ordered a sausage pasta dish and thoroughly enjoyed it -- he said it was very tasty. He also had two smoked old fashioneds and really liked them. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived, but it still had a cozy atmosphere. The only downside was that staff members were having a very loud conversation in the dining area, playing music, and even watching something on a phone at one point. Since there weren't many customers yet, it stood out more. I'd suggest maybe keeping that to a back area or lowering the volume while guests are dining. Overall though, this visit changed my mind. I would absolutely go back.
