I called to verify they are dog friendly . We had our 2 big dogs w us after just going on a hike locally. The staff was super friendly, the outdoor space w giant umbrellas was perfect on this sunny September day, the drinks hit the spot, and the food was delish! Highly recommend!

The service was fast and the waitress was very friendly and gave great recommendations for the menu. We sat on the patio and there were umbrellas for shade. The crab cake had a lot of meat and the crab dip had a very balanced flavor. Would definitely recommend those two items.

It was a perfect day to dine outside at this establishment. Our waitress was delightful. The Italian Panini and Turkey Club Panini were delicious and on point. Both came with shoestring fries which were perfectly fried and seasoned. I ate the whole side by myself and it wasn't even my order . We also got the white pizza with bacon, basil, jalapeños, and meatballs. It was so flavorful and just enough kick. The downside was that it was a little on the greasy side. Lastly, the baked rockfish. This was probably the disappointment of the day. Even though the lump crab meat was delicious, fish was a little on the fishy side. Overall a good experience.

Tapia's on Main is a great restaurant in Middletown with good food, nice casual vibes, and clean and updated decor. There's even a great outdoor patio seating with heated lamps at night. During our visit, we first ordered the special appetizer for the evening the burrata and fresh tomatoes with crusty bread and it was delicious and fresh. For our entrees, I ordered the special for the evening crab topped ravioli with Alfredo sauce which was also delicious. My husband ordered the chicken pesto pizza and he thought it was lacking a little flavor but with a little bit of Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper it added more flavor. Although the nice touch is that the baked in brick oven so the crust comes out nice and thin. Then my mom ordered the frutti de Mari which is a fettuccini pasta with red sauce with mussels, scallops, clams and shrimp. It was definitely delicious and flavorful. Even the garlic bread and Caesar side salads we ordered were fresh. Definitely a nice place to visit and try when in the area or finding a nice romantic place to eat for a dinner for two or with a large family.

Small town gem! My family and I were on a Sunday drive when we happened to drive past Tapias to see how busy it was, and just absolutely needed to give it a try. Right from the start, the friendly down to earth service and comfortable outside seating gave a great impression. The menu was vast, (yet doesn't go overboard) giving plenty of options for family eating. My Cobb salad was packed with flavor, fresh ingredients and really satisfied. My daughter got a white Pizza (which I tried) that was made by someone who knows how to make a proper pizza. If you're rolling through Middletown, stop have have a drink and some good food at Tapias!

Oh how good the food and establishment was! On my trip to Maryland, I met friends at Tapia's for dinner and it was fantastic. The service was excellent and they are going out of the way to be in compliance with all social distancing requirements. I ordered a pizza and it was fabulous as they make it in their brick oven. My family ordered other various meals and there is nothing bad that I can say about them, especially since they have a good beer selection as well.

Great menu options. I had a really good experience here. My server Julia was exceptional. I had a pomegranate mimosa and margherita pizza! So so good.

OK, I did not order the burger and fries, but my boyfriend did, and I ate half the fries on his plate, they were that good! Great, friendly, with generous pours for wine, and just a really friendly, great place with perfect food for a winter day. I wish I could find a place like this in Washington, DC.

There's a lot of potential here, but when your wagyu burger costs more than Le Diplomate's iconic burger in DC, I'm expecting something amazing. Every ingredient was very seasoned on its own, but when combined, the burger was overwhelmingly salty. I could barely taste anything besides salt. The cocktails were also overly sweet, and I regrettably had to send them back a couple of times. That said, our waiter's service was excellent. But this place needs a lot of improvement. Way too salty, too greasy, and overpriced.

She makes a great espresso martini but would probably make you anything you asked for and would enjoy the chance to be creative. We ordered a brie platter which was decent. Well it all worked out how it was supposed to because the food, ambiance, and service were great here! Water carafes were provided to the table & we ordered several drinks. All of the cocktails were beautiful, colorful and had curated understated garnishes. I enjoyed the jalapeño lime fizz, one of the non-intoxicants. Food took a little longer than expected but it was worth the wait. The red pepper pesto with linguine was creamy and rich and topped with fresh Parmesan. I only wish I'd had a piece of bread to sop up the sauce at the end! I'd be interested in trying their brunch and lunch options if I'm in the area again. Our server, Tom, was attentive. The bathrooms are clean and nicely warm thanks to a heater. We all had a great time.

The basket of the fluffy, soft, warm rolls were incredible and something I will come back for. I got the Mediterranean bruschetta special which came with feta, crabmeat, tomatoes, balsamic glaze and lots of other yummy things on four pieces of bruschetta. It was delicious. The shrimp scampi over the thin fresh noodles was a pleasure - really loved how big the shrimp were and the large helping of pasta. My husband got the lasagna which was good although they used some different cheeses which made it taste a little different but still good. I don't see us ever returning unless the host has been released from his assignment there. It's unfortunate for the restaurant because we are not afraid to enjoy anything on the menu and we tip very well (I was a waiter once, too).
