I've been here once before and I could not wait to go again! I'm in Duluth/Atlanta often for concerts and I NEED my good coffee! The staff was so welcoming and told me that they just got a drink order of 10 drinks ahead of mine. However, instead of making me wait, which I told them I didn't mind, they made our drinks first. My stepdad ordered a vanilla latte and loved it. I ordered the blue latte iced and love that they have oat milk! The blue latte is so aesthetically pleasing and has a light caramel taste. My stepdad was so impressed he wanted to try another! I had him get an einspanner since we were doing a Korean experience weekend and I know they are popular in Seoul! I ordered the butterfly tea latte. It was absolutely amazing! The orange cream on top is something I will definitely crave until my next trip! The coffee and views are as lovely as the taste! This will definitely be my new study spot! The ambiance is on the darker and relaxed side, and there are lots of tables for studying. The area is also very clean, and the decor is aesthetic! Service was super fast, and there were so many options to choose from~ Ratings and thoughts: Iced cafe blue signature (9/10): the drink itself was blue and brown which was so pretty, and the taste was overall very balanced and strong. Staple ice latte drink; no complaints! Iced lavender latte (8.5/10): im not a huge fan of lavender because the taste can be overwhelming and too fragrant at times, but this drink was really good. Like another reviewer wrote, you can't help but think of the song "I'm blue" when visiting Cafe Blue and Ordering one of their festive color drinks. But you won't be feeling too blue when you drink one of their Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee. It'll definitely give you a little pep in your step. Okay, let's talk drinks and ambience. Cafe Blue nailed it when it came to creating a space that is both versatile in studying and catching up with friends. They are also COVID friendly. My hubby and I tried their blue latte, the Einspänner, and their White Snow latte. The blue latte was my favorite because it wasn't too sweet (I ordered less sweet). The Einspänner was a bit watered down and didn't offer much flavor. I was really hoping and waiting for that chocolatey taste to enter into my taste buds, but it never came. The cream on top was pretty tasty though. Overall, hubby and I give Cafe Blue a 4.5/5. They are known for their Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee (JBMC), which is one of the rarest coffees in the world bc of their supply & demand. So their prices are on the higher end but it's def worth it. (Don't forget to check in on Yelp for $2 off on coffee beverages) ^^ I really liked the Einspanner (2 shots of JBMC espresso, ice, sweetened cream & cocoa powder). I came with two others and we all had a great experience. The baristas were kind and helpful when answering questions about menu items. It was packed when we came but our drinks still came out pretty fast. We had a hot vanilla latte with almond milk, iced vanilla latte with oatmilk, and peppermint tea. My iced latte was very good and not too sweet. I think they use Chobani oat milk very good. The lobby was nice and clean, as was the restroom. It was comfortable inside with plenty of seating. Super cute coffee shop that makes great tasting drinks that look beautiful. They are open for dine in currently and have the tables spread out pretty far from each other to keep the appropriate 6 feet distance from each other, sometimes even using the plants as barriers (I personally love the rustic cafe vibe so I thought this was a neat idea). The menu is pretty big for a cafe - they have all of the generic drinks like mochas and they also have some specialties like their signature butterfly pea tea latte, which I got. This was my first time having butterfly pea and I thought it was beautiful. I also loved that they infused it with orange to give it a perfect blend of sweet and tangy. I love coffee shops, but there are some that I could spend all my time in, and Cafe Blue is one of them. The shop itself is comfortable, welcoming, beautifully decorated, and has a great vibe. The folks working there are friendly & helpful. Today was a busy Sunday afternoon for them and while I was there, they were hustling and busting their butts getting orders filled as quickly as possible, and with amazing precision. I watched as not only coffee was weighed out, but also syrups for mochas and such so that drink to drink flavors would be consistent. I like that it isn't a small squirt of chocolate syrup in my mocha from one guy this time vs. a mega amount next time, I appreciate consistency of flavor. Speaking of flavor, the 100% Jamaica Blue Mountian Coffee that they roast and use is gorgeous!! As is the roaster in the back of the shop! The coffee is smooth, and strong, and lord I hope I sleep tonight because I enjoyed a lovely White Snow Latte late in the afternoon!! I was honestly buzzing from the caffeine when I left the shop, but the coffee was beyond delicious so if I don't sleep from caffeine high, it was worth it! Oh and because it looked so amazingly beautiful, I got a Butterfly Pea Flower to-go. What a wonderfully refreshing light drink. Finally got to stop by cafe blue this weekend and loved it. I've passed by a few times since they opened up and have been really wanting to check it out. I'm glad I did! They inside is very classy and clean looking. They have plants all throughout the cafe which makes it feel very open and airy. The decor throughout the cafe is perfect for a coffee shop. They even have a massive roaster in the back of the cafe. The cafe overall just feels cozy and a great place to chat or get some work done while have a cup of coffee. We went on a Saturday morning and they were just a few people inside. We were greeted as soon as we walked in though. They roast and serve Jamaican Blue mountain coffee which is phenomenal. I ordered my usual an americano and chose it to be on more on the bitter side. (They let you choose your preference). My americano was delicious ! It taste very smooth but still had that roasty bitter coffee taste that I love. Their coffee is officially one of my favs and luckily I work right down the street so you will probably see me in there often. Overall Cafe blue really wowed me and I definitely will be back. The location isnt the greatest for them to be seen but it is easy to get in and out of there. I'm positive they will stay busy ! Thanks to Instagram, this coffee shop caught my attention. This coffee shop doesn't have much light and is very dark. It has a relaxed laid back atmosphere with plenty of seating. Their iced blue latte was so pretty, everyone wanted one. I couldn't help myself either. However, the taste was not anything spectacular. I also tried their sesame latter. I would pass! I did it for the gram. I decided to try their other drinks and I fell in love with their Dutch cube latte and London fog latte. Those are my absolute favorites. I am not a coffee drinker, but Cafe Blue makes me want to become one. If you look at the photos here on Yelp, you'll see it's not just all in the name, but in the drinks too. Stopped by for some quick caffeine since we were in for a long day (ok fine, it was at a resort, but still, it's something we needed to be awake for). Coffee would make me too wired, so I opted for their london fog lavendar latte. I love love love that they had a separate part of the menu for just tea... and that the teas were actually something to ring home about. Won't find a tea bag steeped in water that'll cost you an arm and a leg here. The drink was yummy, although I couldn't see it in all its glory since I took it to go. Came here on a couple occasions. I got the hot black sesame latte with oat milk which was quite soothing and delicious. I'm a big black sesame fan. My friend got it with regular milk and really enjoyed it. The second time I ordered a couple macaroons, flavors recommended by the barista. So I got the earl grey tea and the fat choco (I think?) with anglaise. The former had perfect texture and light taste. The latter's shells were tough and too chewy. I think it was a bit old. The inside was so yummy and had a malt like chocolate ball! Overall I like this place a lot. Great service and it's such a unique cute cafe! I'm curious to try other drinks as well! read more

Their syrups are not all homemade, so the ingredients are easy to find - I'm allergic to ingredients in some of the syrups, so I'm not able to drink the fancy pretty drinks, but I'm telling you - the black coffee is good! Cafe Blue is my favorite Korean-owned cafe to go to for some really good coffee. They roast their coffees in-house and there are multiple roasts you can choose from! They use a Jamaican roast/blend and I love the taste of my iced americano. I usually come here when I want high quality coffee -- I am also a big fan of their einspanners and the black sesame latte. The real reason I want to sing their praise on the internet is because I had one of the coolest coffee drinks of my life. Their sesame seed latte knocked me off my seat and then some. The drink is wicked flavorful and so robust. The sesame wasn't overpowering at all, it just took its place as the star really well. I appreciated the subtle sweetness and that they were honest with me that it's "better iced" how annoying is it when baristas are like uh it's good both ways. Come one now, give me an opinion! Cafe Blue is definitely a place I will be visiting often. I have had Cafe Blue bookmarked for quite some time and finally made an excuse head to Duluth to do a bit of work. I wish I could enjoy this place but I've never been able to because it's always packed and people hoard over tables/ the bar to study/work and it gets really loud. I'd say the coffee is overrated and overpriced especially with them advertising Jamaican beans are the best beans in the world. A bold statement imo. Worth a drive up to Duluth! The last time I was at Cafe Blue it was close to Christmas and the cafe was adorned with holiday decorations in indigo and azure. Returning in the Fall, it made me appreciate the evergreen nature of this place, truly my favorite Korean coffee shop in the Atlanta area. I ended up getting an Iced Chai Tea Latte ($5.70) this time around and WOW it was hands down the best Chai I've had in Atlanta. Everything about this place is done with such thought and care to aesthetics and design. I love how it's a great place to hunker down and get some work done as well as a relaxed atmosphere to have a conversation. My brother and I ordered the strawberry matcha cream. I loved that we could substitute the type of milk with oat milk or almond milk for those who have different dietary preferences. There was plenty of seating and it was a great place to study while drinking our refreshing drinks. There were plenty of other cool drinks that I will be back to try soon. Seen this spot popping up all over Insta, had a few friends recommend to me, and I finally made it out to northern Duluth to check it out. I was really excited to try this place because the ambiance and the beverages looked immaculate. The ambiance definitely lives up to the hype - the drinks not so much. I tried the iced blue latte and the 100% organic matcha latte. The espresso shots in my latte were really sour, I think the beverage would have been good if the shots were pulled correctly. It's essentially a caramel latte and the syrup tasted quality and not overpowering. The butterfly pea flower tea they add is mostly for aesthetic. The matcha latte was ok, but the matcha was overpowered by the milk. Might have needed better mixing or quality powder, but it was just OK regardless. I do have to give props to the interior though, I could easily spend hours working here. The interior is spacious, slightly dim, and very peaceful. Music selection was very fitting when I was there and there is plenty of seating. Honestly would come back here just to work even if I had to grab a drink that I don't exactly crave. There are also some food offerings that caught my eye, such as their croffles and tuna melt, so I'll have to be back to try those. Overall, I do think that Cafe Blue is one of the most aesthetic cafes OTP and an excellent place to go if you are looking for a nice place to sit and work for a few hours. Cafe Blue is not in a popular plaza but it is sure worth the visit. It is located off Satellite Blvd and Boggs Road across from the QT gas station. The plaza has a lot of Korean owners. While walking in Cafe Blue, it is packed! Every table is taken!! Many on their laptops. I ordered both the Butterfly Pea Flower drinks - tea & coffee! The tea is so freaking delicious. Super chic cafe with great coffee. I wish I lived closer so I could try all the varieties. My husband got a vanilla latte and I got an Earl Grey latte which taste just as described. Yum! We also tried the Croffle. It was a really lovely treat to share but we could not find a fork and had to eat it with our hands which was a bit messy. I had to update my review from a year ago. Still 5 stars of course. I love this place and come at least once a week. It's easily the best coffee I've ever had in Georgia. Really one of my top three coffee spots I've ever tried anywhere. Coffee and food are both fabulous here. They also have reward cards you can punch every time you visit to eventually get a free drink. I've gone through several cards lol.
