Great little spot. Very clean, service is quick, portions are generous, food is delicious. Wasn't thrilled to see a busboy coming out of the ladies room but I guess when you gotta go, you gotta go. read more

The food is always excellent! Going from their salads to the cheese steak and fries they are always amazing! Great place to go with friends and enjoy time together. It does get a little loud when it is busy so it can sometimes be distracting but always worth going the food is awesome! read more

11 of our family members went to Cafe Amici this past Saturday night. I explained to the server that our daughter had just gotten a few teeth pulled that day, and needed a soft diet. After confirming that they do in fact have American cheese, I asked if they could substitute that for cheddar on the Mac and cheese for my daughter (who would have gotten something else if she didn't have her teeth pulled that day). She asked the kitchen, and was told that they would not make the substitution, and the only thing they could do instead of cheddar would be parmesan or butter. Had she had an allergy instead of a surgery, I'm sure that they would have made the substitution. It took about 45 minutes for the meals to start coming out - very slowly one by one. My niece's meal came out incorrectly, my other daughter's (6 years old) came about 20 minutes after everyone else's, and my father-in-law's steak smelled so terribly that he had to send it back and ask for a new meal. The portion size of the $10 kids' pasta meals were like 3/4 of an adult side dish. My daughter was hysterically crying after dinner because she was starving! And then the bill came...they didn't take the steak off the check, and they charged us for an additional children's meal! My husband complained about the check and they adjusted it. It was such a terrible experience that I will NEVER go back there again! Seriously - they couldn't substitute something as simple as cheese!? Oh - and their margherita pizza was just regular pizza with little sprinkles of fresh basil instead of with fresh basil and fresh mozzarella and tomatoes. read more

I finally got to dine at Cafe Amici. It was totally worth the wait. Yes, it is on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for. I had their turkey burger for lunch. This was no ordinary turkey burger. Out of this world. Very much looking forward to a return visit. read more

this is a great place for women, I also never see men. The have awesome soup, salads and sandwitches. It is pricy, but it is a nice place and worth it. I enjoy it and I hope you will too read more

Cafe Amici is a great little place especially for lunches. I adore their selection of salads. My only complaint, however, is the noise. It gets very loud and the acoustics are terrible. read more

Love the food here. Everything is so fresh. Calamari with teriyaki glaze and fried meatballs (with hot cherry peppers) are our favorite appys. The kids pizza is a delicious / NY style pie. Their salads are great too, although a little pricy. Only reason for not rating a 5 is due to the fact you can't order from their main salad menu (lunch) on the weekends read more

Delicious brunch place! I've been here a few times and their food never disappoints. If you go around lunchtime, it's pretty packed. Their margarita pizza was great and they have so many options for salads. read more

After dining here under new management, I was hoping that Cafe Amici would be as good as it's always been- and it certainly was! Our party of 5 came on a Thursday night for a birthday dinner. We called ahead to make sure there was room for our party (although the restaurant didn't take a dinner reservation per-say for a party under 8). A table was set up to accommodate us upon arrival. We ordered the grilled octopus and risotto ball to start, and both appetizers were exceptional. As for the main entrees, we were disappointed to learn that only the specials came with a house/caesar salad since other restaurants offer their patrons a choice of house/caesar salad with any entree that is ordered. Nonetheless, all specials and entrees tasted phenomenal. The Tagliatelle Funghi was especially delicious, and I'd happily order it again. We will be back, Cafe Amici. read more

delicious food with a great and attentive staff. I used to work very close to Cafe Amici and never had a problem with getting in and out within my lunch hour. read more

BY FAR the best place to eat in Wyckoff! Have lived here for 2 months and everything on the menu here is exceptional! The Hanger Steak is one of the best I've ever had, the ambiance is warm and enjoyable. The service is fantastic on all levels as is the management. I have been going at least once a week now and every time it gets better and better! Do yourself a favor and try out the great lunch specials! read more

My favorite place to eat for lunch and favorite place to take our dinner! Great staff and great food. LOVE amici

LOVE this place, especially their pizza and salads... it's a BYOB... (always love that), sometimes hard to hear inside, but it's always crowded and often we have to wait. Very reasonably priced, I seem to order the same food over and over, but it's always been very good. I "think" I prefer the Wyckoff location... just for the atmosphere, easier to hear across the table - favorite place to go with girl friends for both lunch an dinner... you won't be disappointed! read more

Love this Restaurant!! There Organic Chicken is INSANE! I have been coming here for a few years and can honestly say that everything on the menu is delicious. read more

I went here today with my mother. Food was great - the menu choice was fabulous lunch. We both had a different salad and they were equally delicious. I would like to try everyone of their salads. Everyone was nice....when we left and met my sister who was lunching elsewhere we all said we will be back for dinner! read more

I have been to the restaurant twice before but the third time was not good at all. The sandwiches are $13 each., not cheap as they are small. Mine was tasteless and my husband's hot sandwich was cold. The serve was slow and poor, even after the lunch crowd had left. When we finally contacted our waitress about the cold sandwich she returned it to the kitchen. They reheated the cold sandwich, which made the bread harder and difficult to chew. We paid our bill but will never return to Cafe Amci. read more

We have been here a number of times and always enjoy it. Last night, we came for my wife's birthday. The food was absolutely spectacular. I had the sea bass with risotto. It was the best I ever had. My wife and daughter both had pasta dishes and our friend had their unique turkey burger, which was the best she ever had. The service was absolutely wonderful and they comped us for the birthday cake. I highly recommend this place. I guarantee a great dinner experience! read more

I went once with a few friends, very good, mostly the crumb cake gelato! Service is nice and fast, try the Penne Vodka

Cafe Amici has great food and wonderful staff! I recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Favorite restaurant hands down. Always get the Thai Chicken Salad or Turkey burger and definitely lava cake for dessert!

This is my favorite local place. Friendly staff, excellent local fresh food. Definitely my go to place.

The food is terrific, the Service is wonderful, and the atmosphere is happy and loud. The yoga pant'd servers are pleasant to deal with and look at. First class. read more

I love Cafe Amici!!! I come all the way from HoHoKus to go to the one in Wyckoff, it's a much warmer atmosphere. I get the buffalo cobb salad all the time! They also have hands down best thin crust pizza in the area. Great pasta too! If you've never been there before, you're not going to feel that way! The waitstaff in the Wyckoff restaurant are some of the most genuine, friendly people I have ever met. I recommend Cafe Amici to everyone! 5 STARS! read more

Love this place. I live in Wyckoff and we dine here frequently, we also love to get takeout for those nights when cooking is just not an option. Food is terrific, service is always friendly and professional, the decor is warm and inviting. It just feels comfortable every time we are there and we always leave satisfied. It can get busy at peak times but to me thats the sign of a good resturant. I dont really want to eat at a place that is dead at 700 on a Friday night. It is byob but there is a great liquor store right behind it so you cant go wrong. Highly recommend Amici! read more

Food was pretty good, service was solid. Prices were a little high but wasn't bad, will be back!

Super rude staff - the woman taking care of our bill threw many dirty looks and rude comments under her breath because we asked her to split the bill on three different cards - also slightly racist. read more

We have been long term customers, for years. My latest experience with Cafe Amici was horrible. It wasn't waiting 10 minutes for the waiter to come over at first, it wasn't the fact that we had to wave down someone else just to get some bread, after being almost through the appetizers, it wasn't the fact that after the waiter took our order we never saw him again until he cleared the plates (no: how was your meal, no: can I get you anything else....like cheese for your pasta), and it wasn't even the fact that the gnocchi was flavorless, drowned in meat gravy with a giant non-chopped bitter piece of swiss char in the center. It was, however, the fact that when the waiter finally did show up and saw my untouched meal he said, "oh not your thing", charged me for it, and then brought me a cupcake stating "in case you are still hungry". I paid $24 for a inedible entree and the waiter offered sugar as a substitute for dinner. I drove home and made dinner. I will never, never, never return again....after years of being a customer, it was truly shocking to see how little Cafe Amici values the customer -even the new ones-they should want them to feel valued not like an ATM. My meal was not the only sub-par meal. at our table. That combined with the horrible service means I'd rather make mac and cheese at home than grace the door of Cafe Disappointing ever again. Sadly disappointed and done. read more

I went with a friend to Cafe Amici for her birthday. We were also celebrating her seven year anniversary after being diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. We arrived at five o'clock so the restaurant was empty. After a couple of minutes the waitress came to take our order but we told her that we had not decided and ordered drinks. She came back a couple of minutes later and we told her we had not yet looked at the menu. She came back a couple of minutes later so we ordered an appetizer. She came back a couple of minutes later so we ordered our dinner. We ate our dinner and right after we finished, there she was again. She asked if we would like anything else and we said no thank you so she brought us the bill. I paid in cash and she took it, walked away and never asked if I wanted change, nor did she bring change back. A couple of minutes later she came back again to ask again if we would like anything else and we said no thank you. A couple of minutes later the hostess came to the table and asked if we needed anything else and we said no thank you. She proceeded to take our drinking glasses off the table and with a not so nice glare turned and walked away. I was so shocked. We got up to leave and I looked and my watch and it was 6:08. We were there for 1 hour and 8 minutes. My friend works close by at a large company and has been at Cafe Amici many times with her co-workers. Never again. I gave Cafe Amici one stars because the food was good. The waitress and hostess were by far the worst I've ever come across. read more

never had a bad meal so far and have been coming here for past 3 years- great turkey burger and skirt steak!

Food is great but service was awful. I friend warned me a while back about this place and poor service / lack of integrity (they tried to put extra items on her bill).... It had been a while though so We went for lunch with a small group. Ugh. We had a baby carriage in our party, and the hostess (middle aged lady) gave us the hardest time. I asked if we could just keep the baby at the end of our table tucked between us and another vacant table. You would have though I was asking to park a car there. She muttered "well then, no one can sit there, (indicating the other vacant table)"... Well, idk, maybe other parties can sit at one of the other Ten Tables That are Empty. And, the restaurant never did fill up for lunch, so as I suspected, we weren't in the way. She was Very not accommodating and not service oriented. And Then - At the end of our meal, we put cash, large bills, in the check holder. The waitress disappeared, occupying herself, never to return with the change. I actually watched her ring up the total, take payment, and a big hefty tip for herself. I had to ask for the change to be returned to our table... Seriously, did she think she was getting a 45% tip for lunch?! Quite presumptuous and rather obnoxious behavior. She received a lot less than that at the end of the day because of it. Poor poor service and attitudes. It matters as much as the food. So We won't be coming back here. read more

This is an update review regarding the manner in which Cafe Amici handles the concerns and experiences of their patrons. As can be seen in my last review, what was a nice dinner got ruined by one person's lack of professionalism and ignorance. I will say that thankfully that individual's attitude did not seem to reflect on anyone else at Cafe Amici. Even during our initial and only experience, the rest of the staff was polite, attentive and respectful. We expressed our disappointment to Stacey, on the phone, and left a number for someone in management to call back. Stacey was pite and the folks at Cafe Amici made certain to address our concerns the very next day. After hearing us out and apologizing sincerely, the owner let us know he'd inform his partner of the matter. Well I am relieved to say that in only a couple days the owners assured us the matter was taken care of and would no longer be an issue. They also waty extended an invite back to the restaurant to give us a true Cafe Amici experience. I am looking forward to it and will be sure to keep everyone posted. Thank you very much Cafe Amici, for treating all of your guests with dignity, equality and respect. Thank you for being honorable and explemary, not only in professionalism but hospitality as well. read more
