    Coyote Chicken Salad

My husband and I went here last weekend. For lunch, you are able to order at the counter and seat yourself. Dinner is a seated service. My husband ordered the coyote chicken wrap. He paid an up charge for the side caesar which he felt was not worth it. I ordered the coyote chicken which comes with the 501 salad. Mine was worth it! Food came out quickly and accurately.

Went for lunch. It was packed but by the time we ordered a table had let up. They were quick to serve us and the waitstaff was so attentive. It is great place for a quick lunch or meeting a friend. The pizza was phenomenal.

It's been a long time since I've been to Cafe 501. Luckily the timing worked out and I was able to try it again with a friend. I ordered the Mediterranean bowl and it was delicious! It had so much flavor and was nice and filling.

First time trying Cafe 501 and it was very good. We had the short ribs with risotto and the chicken Parm. Both were excellent. Especially the short ribs. The prices were a little high but what isn't nowadays? Service was excellent. They had a pretty good menu that looks like it's worth trying several dishes.

    Abby is awesome

We had an amazing experience. Our server, ABBY, is so awesome. Phenomenally attentive, offered recommendations, & so helpful ensuring we had the best experience. We chose the burger & chicken; absolutely prepared to perfection. We will definitely return & pray for Abby as our server. The best ambiance for dining, chatting, & date night. Yes, I highly recommend Cafe 501.

Deserves its high ratings, it's a little price but one of the very best meals I've had in quite some time. Come for lunch, it was lively but not too busy. Can't imagine it's easy to get a table during dinner time

The food at Cafe 501 has always been delicious. My family loves that they offer a large array of dishes. There's something for everyone! One of my favorite dishes is the Thai Bowl. The desserts are always amazing as well! I would definitely recommend trying Cafe 501 if you haven't!

I have been here twice now. Once with friends for dinner and lunch with my hubby. Both times service was great and the food delicious. Highly recommend.

This Cafe501 location is beautiful in downtown Edmond. My friends and I made a reservation on a Friday night at 8:00 p.m and had excellent service! Food: *Chicken Parmesan* I ordered this dish that came with Fettuccine Alfredo pasta and substituted the spinach for a side of mashed potatoes and cream gravy. If you are a mashed potatoes fan, you will LOVE these perfect Yukon gold mashed potatoes!! Portion was huge and I ended up taking most of my food home with me and ate it for a couple more times as leftovers. *Hummus* Cafe 501's hummus is so smooth and creamy, I need the recipe! I am very particular about hummus, and this one was just perfect...not too grainy, salty, or bland. This was served with tortilla chips, pita bread, and carrot slices. I was a fan of the pita and carrot, not so much the chips. *Spinach & Artichoke Dip* This artichoke dip was as good as you can get. It came with salsa (delicious!), sour cream (not sure why it was served with this? but I guess some people like sour cream with this dip!), and tortilla chips. Drinks: *Margarita* I ordered a regular margarita with Patron. My favorite alcohol is tequila and one of my favorite drinks is a margarita and it had been quite a while since I've sat down for dinner with some of my favorite girls and had a drink since being pregnant & having a baby! This drink was amazing, and hit JUST right with a good amount of tequila and not too sweet. I can't wait to come back here and try some new dishes..the buttermilk chicken looked tempting as well as the sandwich & soup combos!

I'm not a golfer, I've golfed and I've been to the driving range but it's just not for me! However, I have found out some of the best food is served at golf courses. Since I was eating solo I sat at the bar. The menu was intriguing and I had to give some thought as to what I wanted to try. I knew I wanted a sandwich or burger so I went back and forth between the Club Sandwich, the French Dip, Pulled Pork, and the burgers. I finally decided I'm at The Lookout why not just go with the signature Lookout Burger. It was delicious, the smoky bacon stuck out the most along with the pimento cheese! The burger was nice and juicy. The only negative was the bun! It just didn't hold up to the burger. The fries were good as I asked for them to be crispy! I sat in front of a fully stocked bar but this was only a lunch break and I had to return to work. Madison was the person behind the bar and she was delightful! After I finished and she brought the tab we discussed best options for lunch, her top choice was the French Dip. That being one of my favorite sandwiches I must return to try it out! This being a golf course restaurant one would naturally see a lot of the golf theme. However, you don't have to golf to enjoy some good food! I would highly recommend giving this place a try!

My wife also found a small bug crawling around on the blackberries that came with her French toast. The timing of the food was another major issue. Her meal arrived in about 20 minutes, but my food still hadn't come out over 20 minutes later, so she had already finished eating before I got anything. At that point, we asked for my meal to be removed so we could just leave. To their credit, the staff did take my food off the bill without any hassle, and I appreciated that. But overall, it wasn't the kind of experience we expected, especially on Mother's Day.

One thing that stood out to me for my Oaxacan Mule is that the Mezcal's smoky flavor really shown through and it was not overly sweet. A very clean cocktail, which I highly appreciate! We ordered the Chef's Salad Wrap with Onion Rings, French Dip with the tomato soup, and the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with seasonal side of grits. I had high hopes about this place as my brother was in town visiting and said he read a good review…read moreabout it. The decor is very eclectic and kitschy...it looks like they furnished it with goodwill. Which is not a negative thing, in my book...just a specific aesthetic. Upon first glance, I was impressed by the menu and its extensive offerings. Everything sounded very good and we were hungry having a late breakfast. I ordered an iced french vanilla latte to drink and it was pretty good. I'm not a coffee connoisseur, but I can appreciate a sweet, well balanced latte. The waitress seemed panicked from the moment she introduced herself. She was kind and polite, but you could tell she wanted us to hurry up so she could get to her other tables. I think the poor girl was maybe the only person serving our party of three and another party of like 15 that came in, so it was clear she was overwhelmed. The ordering process felt very rushed and the moment we stopped talking, she launched towards the back. I've served for over 20 years, so I have compassion for being "in the weeds", but the key to good service is to not make the customer bear the weight of your urgency, in my opinion. Nonetheless, we ordered our food with anticipation. I was excited that they offered eggs Benedict in several different forms, but I ordered it the old fashioned way with hash browns as my side. The food took a reasonable amount of time to cook. Once we received our meals, everything looked really good. As I cut into my eggs Benedict, I realized the egg wasn't fully poached (it was still gooey) and the meat they used wasn't actual Canadian Bacon, but rather a sliced deli meat. I'm assuming it was ham. It looked like they pulled it straight out of a package from Walmart and slapped it on the English muffin. The food was just not good and definitely not worth the price. My brother got an omelet and there was cheese on top, but it was literally a sliced cheese laid on top of the omelette and it wasn't even fully melted. I respect this establishment as it is a small business and I give them kudos for what they did well. I would recommend they reduce their menu selections and focus on offering better quality ingredients for the items they serve. As for the service, it's a human experience. Some days are good and some days are bad. My only recommendation is that if you're "in the weeds" let your table know that you just got sat with a big top and you need to catch up, but you're going to take great care of them. That feels much better than feeling rushed. All in all, I don't envision myself coming back to this place unless I hear some significant changes are made regarding the quality of ingredients in their food.
