This was a small and cute cafe. The food and service were amazing. I liked that there were options, but it wasn't an overwhelmingly large menu. We will definitely be back.

Parking: There are some paid lots around the restaurant and free street parking for 90 minutes on the surrounding streets. My friends and I opted for the latter option. We were greeted as we entered and had access to the menus right away, as they are placed at the entrance. We got seated and were able to order quickly. We came at a non-peak time so we were at the front of the queue so to speak. The restaurant is very clean. The bathrooms are also very clean, which I love to see. It shows me the business really cares about how it comes across. Our food was prepared and served very fast. My friend was still in the restroom by the time it had come. As you can see from the image, my Japchaebap was awesome. (Order with tofu if you're vegan) I got mild spice just because I am sensitive to *too much* spice. But as someone who enjoys spice I couldn't really perceive it. So if you have a good spice tolerance I'd suggest you up the spice one more level than you would think. The flavoring was great, but I don't really like the noodle texture. I prefer them with more weight. It was a slight challenge getting them onto the fork, and it being stable enough to put into your mouth. Just something to consider when choosing your dish. I'm still glad I chose to experience the dish. Maybe I'll learn to like this style of noodle. Special note if you're vegan too: the kimchi has shellfish, so skip any menu items with the asterisks that have kimchi in the ingredients. Thankfully my friends caught that because I would've missed it as it's below another note.

So glad I picked this spot for lunch. My disorder and I were looking for something new. She goes to the coffee shop next door pretty regularly and was not sure why she had never stopped in here. The server was very attentive and sweet. It was very clean inside. It actually took us a bit longer than usual to choose due to the fact that so many things looked good. I ended up getting the Coco curry rice spicy with chicken. It was soooo good. So much flavor and enough spice to be able to enjoy the flavor. I was planning on eating only part of it so I could have some later, but ended up finishing it all. My sister said the burger was fantastic, it looked good, but I was too engulfed in my noodles. I looked back behind the counter to see such a large collection of aged stouts. I thought it was a little weird for the type of establishment, but realistically if I was here for dinner I probably would have ordered one. I look forward to coming back and sampling other items off the menu.

This is a cute restaurant in Everett. I'm between a 3 and a 4 because the dish was all excellent except for the vegetables which were pretty raw and not sautéed. I understand in bibimbap but this one did say on the menu that the vegetables were fried (I assumed stir fried). The broccoli while I have eaten raw before, is not my favorite so I mostly left this un eaten. The star of the show was the salmon and this was excellent!! Very moist and the sauce was perfect. The brown rice was also perfectly cooked. Staff were so friendly and the place is clean and very open. I'd come back here again and try the other dishes. Or I'd ask for the vegetables to be sautéed for a bit.

Really great food, authentic and delicious! Service is fast and courteous. The place is clean, cozy and has an open floor where you get to see the kitchen in action. I drove 15 minutes to get here and it was worth it, I will definitely be back.

Cool little Korean spot in Everett. They have a cool, industrial design, and offer tasty food at good prices. The coconut curry with sweet cream potato noodles and beef was fantastic. Service was quick and friendly. I'll be back!

Dad and I enjoyed this restaurant a lot. We were warmly received and although it took a long time to get food, it was tasty once it arrived. The photo is of the noodles and tofu.

Lovely minimalist ambience, quiet jazz, and fantastic service. The food is wonderful, and the stone bibimbap is a new favorite. It's a bit pricey and the parking is terrible, but worth the visit!

Amazing food and an even better atmosphere! Everything was super fresh and came out quickly. Highly recommend this spot to anyone in the Everett area -- I'll definitely be coming back soon!

An Everett gem, I'm always excited when I eat at a restaurant and know I'm coming back for 4-5 other dishes. I had the Japchaepap with chicken & medium spice. It was essentially a perfect dish, the noodles & chicken & veggies work together perfectly. The service is friendly and quick! I will be back for the Kimchi Fried Rice & Coconut Curry, et al. Give them a try!

Are there any gluten-free menu items? Cross-contamination isn't something I have to worry about, as long as the food itself does not contain gluten. Thanks!

I had the buckwheat noodle bowl, I don't know that they advertise it as gluten free but the noodles at least were buckwheat

I am so happy they stuck to bistro quality food. We ordered salmon and steak and both were cooked perfect. The chimi cajun sauce on my salmon was great. The poor server was solo and slammed, but she did get some help partway through. They've got a good selection of beer on tap, but I thought the cocktails were overpriced--nothing really stood out. I'd rather spend $16 on a craft cocktail at Colby Club. The food wasn't great. We got the calamari and it was bad--cold and honestly just bland. We also ordered the beer-battered halibut. It was okay, but a bit overcooked, and it came with fries... maybe 25 total for a 3-piece fish plate. Our bill was around $65 for two beers (with the $2 off Thursday special), the calamari, and the 3-piece halibut. Just overpriced for what it was. The place itself is cute, and they had acoustic music going, which was nice. The staff was friendly and really hustling with how busy it was. Overall, though, I didn't feel like it was worth it and probably wouldn't go back. I wish we could do .5 stars. I struggled between 2 & 3. I ended with 3 for the venue, live music (she was really good) and the awesome staff.

We got there about half an hour early to try and get lunch before the performance started, but it took a while for the food to show up. The others had a breakfast burrito that actually was too small burritos and hashbrowns. Unfortunately when they brought that out, they didn't bring any silverware so he didn't eat the hashbrowns. When we went on a weekend, it was very quiet, too quiet, with moderate business and perhaps five tables occupied. This is our fourth West African restaurant in this area; all but one are a bit rough around the edges. The male server spoke only to my husband, despite me initiating the conversation and placing the order. Hello, the 21st century is calling! The food takes a while to be ready; they all do for some reason. This time we waited half an hour with a near empty restaurant. If you are hungry, order an appetizer. Generally speaking, the food is good, and the portions are generous. The Food: Dibi Afra or Grilled Lamb, $26.99 - 4.5 Stars Menu: Popular SeneGambian street food. Meat marinated in authentic heritage seasonings and char-grilled served with onions, spicy mustard, and salad. There is something comforting about a giant pile of chopped lamb, fantastically seasoned, served with onions and an excellent salad. I packed 2/3 of the lamb and onions to take home. Grilled Golden Pompano, $25.99 - 5 Stars Menu: Whole Golden Pompano either grilled or fried marinated with heritage seasonings The fish is perfectly grilled. The fried plantain, a pleasant surprise as it was not mentioned on the menu, was wonderfully fried. Both salads are superb too. Beef Fataya or Meat Pie, $9.99 - 3 Stars Menu: Savory Empanadas (3) with choice chicken, beef, seafood or vegetarian We order meat pies from all four West African restaurants we visited. This is the first time where the beef tasted wasn't seasoned or flavorful enough to eat by itself without sauce. Rather disappointed. Jollof Rice side, $9.99 - 4 Stars Ever since the first West African restaurant we visited told us jollof rice recipe is every family and every restaurant's secret, I have made it my mission to order it at every restaurant. I took a close-up photo to show the seasonings in the rice. Theirs is very good, and I'm glad they offer it as a side.
