Came here twice after snowboarding at Steven's Pass. Really love this family restaurant with super friendly service and good food.

We had such a great first experience here. Thankful for the waitress who was super friendly and attentive. The food was amazing. I am glad this spot is in our stomping grounds because we no longer have to travel far for a place with great sides that tastes authentic. We went during the day and it was sunny out. The resturant was well lit and clean too. We have lived in this area over 10 yrs and there's not a lot of great places around here to eat. Happy that there's another good one added to our area.

At long last Monroe finally has its incredible Korean barbecue restaurant! I had anticipated the opening of this restaurant for many months and I'm so glad it has arrived. I had the opportunity to receive exceptional service from Joseph and was impressed with the quality of the design of the place. I ordered the LA Galbi and was blown away by the freshness and quality of the meat. The side dishes or Banchan was top notch as well as the salad with dressing that comes with it. Highly recommend and look forward to experiencing the tabletop service next time.

Blazin K-BBQ, a brand new Korean restaurant, rivals the best Korean restaurants in the Seattle area. The husband (see pic) and wife team came out of retirement to reopen in Monroe in the center of town along the freeway (Hwy-2). The ban-chan sides that come with meals are top quality and generous portions. I ordered the Spicy-Pork Bulgogi with Kimchee Soon (soup) as my main entrée. The meal was absolutely delicious and totally authentic Korean fare! Again, portion size was huge--I had to take half of my meal home for the next day! Based on quality and affordability, this is clearly a 5-star Korean restaurant! Only 107 miles from Wenatchee WA, "Blazin K" is the "must stop" choice for western bound travelers in Washington state.

Monroe gets a beautiful Korean BBQ spot. Wow! This is excellent news. It's not a huge space, but it is comfortable, clean, well-designed, and beautiful. The service is okay. At times, it can be inattentive and distracted, and it can be hard to get follow-up service for extended periods of time. They also forgot to bring scissors and turned our burner too high for the initial cooking temperature. They just opened, so I think they still have some kinks to work out here. The food was good. Prices are reasonable, but there is no "all you can eat" option, meaning you can take leftovers home. The combos are the best price deals if you want maximum quantity for your money. The banchan (side dishes) for the BBQ are relatively few (as is typical at most Korean BBQ places now), but all were superb. Banchans do have "all you can eat" refills--just ask. That goes for all banchans except for the corn cheese that you cook. You can cook the meat at the table (do it) or have the kitchen cook for you and your cooked meat brought to you (where's the fun?). Outside of BBQ meat, they also have many other dishes on the menu. I uploaded photos of the seven-page menu. Looking forward to many return visits to explore more of the menu. It all looks great.

I lived in Korea for two years. I love Korean food, especially Korean BBQ. I saw this was in Monroe which avoids a lot of traffic and parking issues we have, so decided to give it a try. It is a small restaurant. There are not too many seats, but there are around 12 tables, and not all of them are set up for BBQ, which is fine. We ordered calamari, fried chicken, Combo C with pork belly, Yukajong, and soft tofu soup. The calamari was absolutely delicious. It was crispy and flavorful. It was served with sirarcha mayo. The fried chicken was the same. The flavor was great. It hit perfectly with the right amount of saltiness and umami. Combo C has brisket, bulgogi, steak, pork belly, and chuck steak. Everything was fresh and well-presented. As per usual, it came with banchan (side dishes). I feel a Korean restaurant can live or die by its banchan. Fish cake was a hit. My family loves a good fishcake. It can be chewy sometimes, but the bite on this was perfect. The kimchi was fresh and made in-house. It wasn't overly sweet but it was made for people who don't like things to be too spicy. It needed a bit more heat. The other banchan included seaweed salad, pickled radish, and bean sprout. All were very good. My biggest complaint was the sauces. I love the salt and pepper sesame oil. The one they served was terrible. There wasn't enough salt or pepper. The other two included some sour vinegar sauce and something like a chili oil. None of them had any flavor. This is why I can't give it a 5. We brought the soups home and haven't eaten them as of this writing. Service was great. Our glasses were always full and people were really nice. Bathrooms could have been cleaner but they were fancy with LED-lit mirrors and black sinks and toilets. We will be back

Really enjoyed our k-bbq experience today! For an asian establishment, the ambiance stood out with its squeaky clean and tastefully done interior and lots of booth seating with polished grill tops. The servers were super kind and friendly. One offered to switch out our old grill top halfway through which was a nice touch. You get the option to cook it yourself or have the kitchen do it for you. Do not go for the latter!! There's nothing better than cooking a small amount at a time yourself so each bite is super sizzling hot! Dip it in some sauce and you're in heaven! Oh and it's fun to cook food as you go. The aroma of meat sizzling away as you talk about how your day went is truly splendid! For 2 of us , the $120 combo B with like five different kinds of meats was a lot but we ain't hating it. Our fav is the pork belly, brisket, and beef bulgogi. The marinated meats are intensely flavorful so with some rice and kimchi, it just goes so well together. My hubby really liked the corn and cheese side that came with the meal in a tin and you cook that on the grill and it comes out gooey. Like the other yelpers, the banchan has room for improvement. Instead of the bowl of bland salad, I was hoping they put out lettuce leaves so we could use that as a vehicle to hold the meat. I will ask for that next time. Overall, very pleased and looking forward to more of the same! Also, excited they have a plethora of other menu offerings like Korean fried chicken, bi-bim bap, tofu soup, seafood pancakes.. all of what you'd expect at a Korean place. I am still over the moon about a K-bbq in Monroe! And it way exceeded our expectations!

    Extremely fatty kalbi
    Bry P.

We ordered a combo with Kalbi and the amount of fat on this was crazy. With little bits of actual meat, I don't think we got what we paid for since Kalbi isn't cheap. The rest of the food was mediocre and the fish was really dry.

Sides that came with the entrees

Food 5/5: The food was amazing, it came out in a timely manner and it was hot and fresh. And for the price of the food, the portions were perfect. And we even had some leftovers. Service 5/5: The waitress refilled our waters frequently and was nice. Ambiance 5/5: The music wasn't too loud and the decor was nice.

Celebrated my fiancé birthday here, had a great experience! the owner was sweet who helped cook our meat & had us trying different combos to eat with our meat! he even had brought some veggies from his garden for us to eat that was delicious. my fiance & i love going to kbbq but it's the first time i went to a kbbq that felt really memorable! the atmosphere & ambiance was very comforting! i would definitely come here again! on top of everything the food was delicious!

Spicy beef soup, nice touch that they separate the noodles from the broth so it's not soggy
    Micki K.

Ok they redeemed themselves, we tried ordering Togo again and the food was good with lots of authentic korean flavors, had decent portions, and it came with side dishes this time! Maybe my last review helped them fix some things?! Anyway it's good and I am happy we gave them another chance as we always want to support our local business owners!

Korean pancake - veggie. Photo was take out. Absolutely delicious.

Squid Deopbap: This dish was also fantastic. It came with a great sauce and a generous amount of squid. All mixed together, it was a very rich and satisfying bowl. We opted for the small mix combo which had the prime ribeye, beef brisket, king prime short ribs, la seasoned ribs, beef tail flap, pork belly, pork jowl, pork shoulder, and seasoned boneless short ribs. We also ordered a bottle of soju to share. The meats were beautifully presented. They also served an array of banchans including onion salad and lettuce. Service was amazing. Our server always checked in and offered to change our grill pan. Pricing was on par for the meat quality and amount that came with our order. We even ended up with a couple to-go boxes. We ordered the kimchi pancake, short rib soup with potatoes and glass noodles, and fried beef brisket (spice level 2/4). The kimchi pancake was overly breaded and tasted like it had been fried in reused oil. The short rib soup was the safest dish of the night, but the beef was still chewy rather than tender, the glass noodles were minimal, and the broth was extremely salty with a noticeable MSG-like taste. The fried beef brisket was heavily sauced, overly salty, and far spicier than a mild level should be. The beef itself tasted far from fresh and was very tough to chew. The appetizers were among the most basic I've seen at any Korean restaurant in the Greater Seattle area. Even then, the kimchi lacked depth and tasted unfresh, with sourness that felt more like age than proper fermentation. What made the experience even stranger was when the server asked how everything was. We tried to respond politely, and the server simply said, "I'm with you." Korean food is not rare in this area, and the prices here are on the higher side. With that context, the quality is difficult to justify. To be fair, the space is decent for group gatherings, large space, and the staff were friendly. But food is the most basic standard for a restaurant, and unfortunately it fell far below expectations. I genuinely don't understand how this place has such high ratings.

The lady who was serving us was very friendly and came back a bunch of times to ask if we need more tea. We were there way longer than how much we spend time at typical BBQ place, but she didn't seem to mind, which was nice. We had the beef combo, cold noodles, and squid and veggie stir fry, and that was way more than we needed. We thought the combo comes with only two bowls of rice but they added another one, seeing that we are party of three. That was nice. Banchan was pretty good and I kind of wish I ate more of it before the meat arrived because I got full from other items quickly. Cold noodles were average. Of the four kinds of beef in the combo, I liked three of them except for one (I believe it was the NY steak) - one item was leaner/dryer than other NY steak I had elsewhere. The combo also came with individual sauces (two types - salt in oil and sweet-ish sauce). The sweet sauce was quite forgettable and so I kept dipping the meat in the salt in oil sauce, but I wish they offered other sauce...maybe like soy sauce based ones or just plain salt. The squid stir fry was spicy and I enjoyed it. The combo also came with tofu soup, which was also pretty good. Overall, there were minor stuff that didn't go with my preference, but I had a nice time at WuJu!
